The original double
Erick M.

Must Try DELICIOUS clean burgers. Background: -They ground their grass-fed beef -Use beef tallow -Seed oil free Food -The Original Smash Burger (double). It feels that you're chewing into a soft, flavorful perfectly assembled soft chew cheeseburger. It's DELICIOUS. (5/5) - Fries (Classic): they are cooked in beef tallow but they NEED TO BE CRISPIER IMO, or offer a secret well done option (3/5) -LOADED FRIES ARE DELICIOUS. We got ours without bacon and they were amazing! (5/5) Atmosphere -You order and pick up, you're there for the food not the ambiance. They do have an outside area which is nice Service -They are friendly and help with recommendations. The staff is amazing! Overall -You'll love their burgers (double is suggested) and are clean (fresh ingredients no preservatives). The small sizes are not small and a great value! Their burgers and loaded fires are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We were in the mood for a tasty burger and something we have not tried before! Farm to Smash was SCRUMPTIOUS! All fresh ingredients. We both got the Rodeo Burger with Bacon and Grilled Onions. My Husband got the regular lemonade and I got the strawberry lemonade. Both were refreshing. We shared large fries and those fries were so good. Cooked in Beef Tallow. There's no combos so everything is A la carte. Farm to Smash is small, but has a nice high top table along the wall where you can enjoy your burger. You can also eat outside out front or on their side patio under the shade. The cashier up front was super helpful on guiding us through the menu and making sure we knew our options. I really enjoyed my lunch there and would definitely recommend checking them out if you haven't done so already.

I ordered The Original (no pickles) with grilled onions and American cheese. The .33 oz patty was super smashed--ultra thin with crispy edges; get a double if you're looking for a filling meal. The bun was suuuuuper soft, probably too soft. The spread tasted ok, but it didn't match burger all that well. Good price point, not-so-great presentation. The front-inside was simple and nice with stools around the walls, but it had some serious ventilation issues, with smoke from the kitchen spreading and lingering. The front door kept blowing open and closed on the windy day i visited. No salt on the very crispy fries, but they provided salt packets. Order at the front and wait for you food to be called.

It is self serve restaurant with friendly cashier. It has a shared patio with adjacent restaurants but patio is not clean. HOWEVER, food is definitely delicious, fries are cooked in beef tallow but it was not crispy

Rodeo burger and fries

Holy crap!!! This place was to die for. First time here, I snagged the rodeo burger. And my mouth completely melted with the awesome taste of this burger. If I had to rate this burger out of a 10, it's an easy 11. Succulent to every bite. Made to order, juicy and absolutely delicious. They have hand crafted lemonade drinks which were super tasty. Please try this burger!!!! The staff were super nice and good on recommendations, the ambiance is similar to a fast food place, small indoor seating and a large outdoor side seating area with shade canopies. Not the best, but it's extra seating. Don't take the appearance of this place for granted. The burgers are where it's at!

BYO Double

So let me just say their homemade ranch is PHENOMENAL!! My brother found this spot and I was blown away by that ranch. Im a ranch girlie, and this one has some flavor that makes me soo happy! The burger, not quite sure what they do but it definitely hits the spot. Its not your average fat patty, its thin so I would recommend getting the BYO Double. Personally, because you can never go wrong with the extra meat. I would love if they had the option for avocado because I cant do cheese. Thatd be my one hope that they add. Ive never been inside, so not quite sure how it looks in there. I can say they do have a great turnaround time. My brother and I went to grab some food after a hike and he was in there may e 15 minutes while I waited in the car. So they do work quick and its delicious. The fries are crispy too!

Loaded Fries - SMALL

The food was great, I would come back again and get the classic cheeseburger instead of the jalapeno one, the loaded fries with garlic sauce were my favorite part. We sat at the patio they have to the left of the building and it was overall really enjoyable!

We came here to try the healthy burgers and I do taste the difference. It's not super greesey like most burgers and they use healthy ingredients. We got a flaming' smash to share. It came with Fresh jalapeños, pickles, American cheese, and chipotle spread. The fresh jalapeños were not too spicy. It was perfect for me. We also got the loaded fries! It was Topped with cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and your choice of house-made spread. I think we got the garlic spread or original. That was pretty tasty and filling. The service was good and the restaurant was a bit small. So there wasn't a lot of seating. Just a bar and some stools. I'd come back again if I'm in the area.

Went here, cause I was recommended by my neighbor. The location is in a Very unassuming strip mall area of Escondido. Not really much room to eat inside the restaurant, but there is a patio on the left side of the building however, it is extremely sunny and not great for rainy days if that occurs. You order at the counter and you wait to pick it up and bring it to your own table yourself basically like In-N-Out but with a a lot higher price tag. My husband and I ordered the chipotle burger and a burger with the garlic aïoli, chipotle fries, chocolate shake, and strawberry lemonade. First off the chipotle fries with bacon is incredible. I didn't expect much from it, but actually, it was the favorite. The chipotle burger was good, but the garlic aïoli was very strong raw garlic flavor which if you're not a fan of you may not like. Overall, the burger was great, but without the extra garlic aïoli sauce that I got on the side, it would've been pretty dry honestly. The chocolate shake was good, but it took them a long time to make it because they make it from scratch you could say with a malt machine. I would personally skip on the strawberry lemonade next time, though it wasn't really that good. Not sure if I would really come back, but it is a solid Smash burger spot. It honestly is the one of the top places in San Diego for Smashburgers in my opinion.

So glad we found this place! Thank you Yelpers. The build your own smash burger was right up there to challenge others we've had and enjoyed. It was a very good, flavorful, fresh, tasty burger. Their original sauce was delicious...recommended. The fries also appeared and tasted to be freshly cut. There aren't any fountain drinks, but they do have cold bottled drinks. It was nice and clean inside and the employees were friendly and helpful. Parking lot is fairly large, but can get crowded.

Loaded fries with garlic sauce and the flamin' smash burger which comes

Small little burger shop in Escondido, plenty of parking & the two items I ordered came out fast, hot & delicious! I tried the flamin' smash burger which comes with jalapeños on it and chipotle sauce so I thought it would be spicy but it wasn't it had the perfect kick to it and I also tried the loaded fries with garlic sauce on it those were absolutely amazing great crispy crunch on the fired and the toppings were flavorful! Can't wait to try something different next time around!

Hi foodie family @farmtosmash to Smash just raised the buns in Escondido, offering smash burgers by the single, double, or triple, with custom options, rich fries, and clean, high-quality ingredients. If you're craving a satisfying smash burger experience, this looks like a top-tier stop off.

Nancy T.

Yumm is an understatement! Tried this place after girlie recommended and mannnn the menu hits HARD! I went with a double after being told the single was a little lean... but the single would have been perfect. The garlic fries --- kicking! My breath smelled like it too. I love their organic drink options, and the decor was quaint and cute. You can see them work in the kitchen through a side glass window while waiting. It was nice to see their farm to smash concept.

First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly.
