Came here for breakfast and it was great! I've been to other Swamis locations but this one was great. There was a wait for a table (Saturday at 1045) but we were able to get a bar seat right away. They have a full bar, and we had excellent service. Food was great and they were very nice with allergies, even gave us a discount after a slight hiccup with the kitchen. You can tell things are made fresh and with nice ingredients. We will definitely be back!

Came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They have a very small parking lot or street parking. They have a ton of outdoor seating, indoor seating, and a bar. It is a very casual spot. Coffee is self serve, which I found odd. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. We found ourselves waiting for order, for the bill for a while. They have a fairly extensive menu. Food was good. Portions were large. I got the Popeye omelette and it was delicious and well stuffed with toppings. It came with a choice of toast, potatoes or fruit. The potatoes were seasoned well.

Swami's signature salad comes completely LOADED with: - avocado - chickpeas - bell peppers - cucumbers - raisins - carrots - broccoli - cabbage - ‍mushrooms - sunflower seeds On top of the abundance of SUPER FRESH veggies, this salad has an absolutely delicious basil dressing AND garlic bread that is probably one of the best I've had! I added seared Ahi Tuna that had a sesame seed crust and cooked to perfection with a pink center - definitely a MUST TRY!

I honestly just love all swamis locations and this one is no different. Great ambiance, food, and service. Really easy to get seated right away too. Also the parking lot here is probably one of the easiest to find parking at compared to any of their other north county locations. I grew up always ordering açaí bowls here but I love almost every breakfast item on their menu. My go-tos now are usually their authentic Mexican breakfast burrito, garlic chicken omelet, and eggs Benedict. Also their gluten free pancakes and French toast are delicious too! During my most recent visit I did have the authentic Mexican breakfast burrito with extra salsa. You always need more. My burrito was perfection. No notes! My husband had the Denver omelet and thought it was so fresh and delicious. Service was a bit slow (just on the amount of time our food took), but everything else was great and our meal was delicious. Can't ask for more!

Stopped in mid-morning and it wasn't very crowded, which made for a really pleasant experience. The service was excellent, and both our drinks and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the Salmon Benedict, and it honestly exceeded expectations. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and their house-made hollandaise sauce was especially good--much better than I anticipated. The drinks were solid as well and paired nicely with the meal. Overall, a great breakfast/brunch spot. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. Just keep in mind that all Swami's locations close at 3 PM, so plan accordingly.

We are from out of town, met up w/family members who love this place. Food: 10/10 huge portions that I got to take leftovers home for the next day lol Service: 7.5/10 it was Sunday morning around 10am so kinda busy We ordered The Big Breakfast & I had the Chorizo hash, both were delicious

This is a great little breakfast spot in Escondido. They've got a lot to choose from on the menu, and everything we tried was very good! I love that they have their own little coffee bar that you can self-serve. Definitely worth a try!

Half the coffee's were empty, both creamers were empty. Nobody gives a crap.
    Morgan B.

What happened to this place, no creamer, empty coffee, lack of attention on any level. I never complain about anything, but this needs attention. Ordered over easy eggs and they came out overcooked, ordered a medium rare steak, came out well done. Went to get coffee, decaf was empty, hazelnut was empty, all creamers, empty. There seems to be no safeguards to any standards in this restaurant.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ~ Swami's FOREVER! It never misses! So many great options, from healthy to not AS healthy - but truly something to offer for everyone. Chill vibes, great service.

Dropped by here for brunch when I was pregnant in my second trimester (August 2024) and limited with food options. I was happy to see omelettes that I could eat. If you're curious, I've been trying to avoid gluten, dairy, and soy. I got the Best of Escondido Omelette with hollandaise on the side. The omelette was huge and hearty. I ended up saving half to eat for later on. I was a tad disappointed about their wraps which only come as whole wheat, and they no longer offer spinach - as there wasn't much of a market/appetite for it. Tip for anyone that decides to take that to go - make sure you have tomatoes on the side! I got mines to go (as I needed to have some sort of snack - gluten or not) and it was super soaked by the time I decided I wanted to eat it later on in the day. There's a small parking lot and street parking. During rush hour it could be hard to find a spot. The interior look is very aesthetic and pleasing to the eye.

One thing I love about this spot is the self serve coffee bar. I love the coffee flavors, the variety of creamers, the choices in sweeteners. And my coffee here is always perfect!!!! I came in on a chill Tuesday afternoon. Andrea was my server, and she was great!! I ordered my normal. (Pineapple Pancake and hard scrambled eggs). They were delicious!! Let's talk about clean. I travel with a service dog. So, I can always tell how clean a place is, based on what he sees on the floor and how dirty he is after. Well, he didn't have any extra dirt or any extra treats from the floor while we were there. That makes me so happy. I enjoy this spot. I feel like it's one of the hidden gems in Escondido. Especially on weekdays.

Lobster Mac n cheese was too rich with the bacon. I think it would've been better without the bacon. We also got the blue cheese on the side. Mud pie was good but was pretty frozen making it hard to eat. Complimentary butter cake for the birthday girl was an added bonus. Butter cake was delicious. We were seated on the patio--which was fine because we had our 2 year old with us--but it was 80 degrees out and not a lot of air flow. Our server's name was Kyra or Kyla--I'm not too sure because it was hard to hear her over the music playing. She was nice enough but there must've been sort of disconnect with our toddler's meal. Either she forgot to put it in the POS system and asked the kitchen to quick fire it or the kitchen was in the weeds and we weren't made aware of the situation. Nonetheless, we purposely put the kid's burger in when we put our appetizer in. Her burger didn't come out until 45 minutes after the appetizer got to our table! I'm not exaggerating either--515 we got our fries and then at 6pm a child's hamburger...on a Tuesday! Our entrees were finished and we asked for the bill before it even came out. I shouldn't have had to check on it as a server's job is to know what your table has ordered and make sure it actually gets to the table. I'm extremely disappointed that there was no apology, no discount or comp. to our meal because of this mistake. We won't be returning.

I chose the back, and I'm so glad I did because the view is absolutely beautiful. I also had my dog with me, and they were incredibly dog friendly. They brought her a dog bed and a surprisingly extensive dog menu with some really great options. We ordered: *Lobster Tacos : Three generously filled tacos served with salsa and guacamole. They were absolutely delicious and loaded with lobster, topped with fresh avocado. *Rancho Burger: Easily one of the best burgers I've had. It was cooked perfectly, and we added Swiss cheese. They even cut it in half for my friend and me to share. The fries were fantastic too, crispy and somewhere between steak fries and thin-cut fries. *Shepherd's Pie (Dog Menu) : The menu listed it with beef, but they accidentally brought out the chicken version. Since my dog is allergic to chicken, they immediately apologized, took it back, and made a fresh beef version. The customer service was excellent, and my dog absolutely devoured it.
