A charming, tucked-away spot. We enjoyed wine during the day and burgers in the evening. At lunchtime, it wasn't too busy, but by dinner, only a few tables were available. The atmosphere felt family-oriented, with plenty of kids, though it also suited couples. They offer a solid selection of food and drinks, and it seemed popular with locals. Service was noticeably slower at night.

The food is okay. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it had too much feta and buffalo. Literally dripping salty buffalo sauce. I wanted to like it so much but I couldn't. However the spice level was there, it did have a good kick. The service was good except for the fact they should update their yelp and google page because it says dogs are still allowed but they're not. We had to sit out by the market, which wasn't a big deal but their ad said they do allow outdoor seating for dogs. As far as ambiance, I'm not sure. We couldn't go inside because we had little dog.

Just a few miles east of the I-15, is this restaurant in Hidden Meadows. Food is ordered at the bar and then delivered to your table/number. The staff are friendly and food selection is great, and decor beautiful. Sometimes I'll use a restaurant restroom and there isn't a place to hang your items, and the floor isn't an option. Their ladies restroom has a place to hang your belongings. It's those little details I appreciate. The vibe is super chill and low key. Just what I love. I would definitely come back here again.

The Classic Burger is a double patty smashburger that's among the best quick-serve restaurant burgers in the North County. All of the ingredients are fresh, high quality, and their ratio to each other and the Brioche bun is perfect. The burger sauce is also excellent and ties the burger together nicely. The fries are crispy and delicious, with no soft ones like many such places suffer from. The onion rings are big, fried to perfection, and served with two tasty dipping sauces. My main complaint is that they, like other such places, don't offer a burger with a small serving of fries, instead making you buy a huge pile for $6.00 extra. When you're charging $15.00 for a burger, throwing in a few fries that would literally cost them less than 25¢ would be fair. The back patio is a delightful place to eat, and there are plenty of TVs streaming sports. My other complaint is the flies--at least on the Summer day I visited. I suggest you invest in a couple of fly fans and bring them along, but it would be better if management would put them on all the tables. On Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/24yrz8vz

Stopped here for lunch in Escondido. Sports bar with a nice outdoor patio. Food was okay tbh. Not bad but not really memorable either. I enjoyed the wings tho! Especially the lemon pepper. Completely self-service. So you seat yourself, order at the bar, and grab your own utensils and water. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of the highlights of the experience.

We always enjoy coming here. I decided to try something new. Didn't care for the pastor. Loved the nachos! Everything else is consistently great!

Good food and better service. We came for the weekend to celebrate a wedding and needed a place to grab some lunch and this was the perfect place because our kids are so picky. We ordered burgers, fish tacos, carne asada nachos, chicken strips and they hit the spot. Drinks were also on point. Although it was hot as balls outside, the shade and the water mist made it more comfortable to eat outside. Next time you're in Escondido and want to get those bellies full, come this place a try. Oh one more thing, NO PETS ALLOWED. TIL next time my fellow yelpers

My husband and I were staying at the Welk Resort and were searching for food off site and we found this gem. It's a super cute, chill spot with delicious food. My husband had the fire bird sandwich with no slaw or pickles and loved it; he said it had great flavor. I had the fish and chips and they were cooked SO well! Super crunchy and hot breading on the fish--so good. The fish inside was small though so breading to fish ratio could be improved. We also ordered the sweet potato fries and they were hot, crunchy and soft on the inside--perfection. Service is great! You order at the bar and seat yourself. They have music in different days than posted so be aware if you're looking for entertainment. Recommend if you're staying in the area.

This place is absolutely darling, but you wouldn't even know that just from looking at the outside. Walking in the entire restaurant is outdoors, the decor and seats are wonderful. Tons of booths, pillows, and fresh flowers on every table. You order at the bar, grab your number and they will bring out the food to you. Everything seemed to be self served, self serve water, silverware, condiments, etc. Came for brunch and ordered bottomless mimosas $25, they gave us a bottle with cranberry and orange juice as well. When you finish your bottle just go on up to the bar for another. I was a bit let down by the brunch menu, there wasn't that many options but they did say we could order food from the deli next door. The food was just okay, I asked for crispy potatoes and they were not at all. The omelette was good and had fresh ingredients. The bacon could have been crispier. There is also a ton of flies and hungry birds since it is all outdoors. Overall, everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the vibe here is so welcoming. I'll definitely return to try the lunch menu as it was a bigger variety.

Pros: This spot is a good place to hang out if you're looking for a casual bar with activities like billiards and darts. The vibe is fun without being overly packed, which made it easy to enjoy the space. They have darts (which are free, you just leave your ID), a pool table, and a music queue system where you can pick songs to play, which adds an interactive element to the night. I didn't try the food but the drinks were solid and did not disappoint. The overall energy of the place was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It's one of those spots where you can relax, hang out, and have a good time. Cons: Parking here is probably the biggest downside. The lot is really small and gets packed quickly, so I wouldn't recommend relying on it. We parked nearby after eating at Copper Kings Burgers and just walked over, which ended up being way easier. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun, chill bar in San Marcos with games, music, and good drinks, this is a great spot to check out. Just plan ahead for parking, but overall it's definitely worth it and I would come back again!

Upon entry, we noticed that it was very divey and, eww, a patriots bar, yuck! I hate the Pats bc I have PTSD from an ex from Boston. We were bummed but I guess if you're a transplant and love New England anything, this is your bar! The bar counter top area only fit like 6 people, but plenty of regular tables and high tops around. We got service immediately. We ordered beers, and I got hungry so I ordered naked chicken wings, with the sauces on the side. I got Tyler's gahhbage sauce which is a combo of all the sauces, was excellent. I immediately fell in love with this sauce, just like I did for the ex, but I'm sure it's going to break my heart... LOL. For some reason, it was everything I wanted in a sauce. Sweet, sour, spicy, tangy, creamy... lol. I took the rest to go. It appears to be a bit rundown and tacky but once inside I felt I was immediately transported to a local pub on the East Coast. There was memorabilia from the owners back in Boston I believe maybe it was Chicago. Please forgive me. But that part was really cool and the kids and myself both really enjoyed looking around at all of it. It was something those chains like Ruby, Tuesdays, or Applebee's worth trying to emulate with their stock newspaper wallpaper plastered to the walls. This place had pendants trophies, lots of trophies and other cool memorabilia not often see! at bars in SoCal. The bartender can make a break this experience and the one that we had was super nice and have that Goldilocks level attentiveness zone level of attentiveness. I just brought two children into this place and at first I was ready to walk out saying that it was a proper pump, but she encouraged me to come on in and that it was a family, friendly establishment and that they even had some games that we could play.. This place has character and charm, the wings were crispy and everything else homemade quality (we ordered a Caesar salad and one of their many options for their "world famous" potato skins). Friday's wishes their potato skins were this tasty... and they were good, you could tell someone made them with love. The salad was fresh and optimally, dressed with what tasted like authentic Caesar dressing and there wasn't a ton of Romain butts left in the mix (which I appreciated), I'm finally my son's first ever checking. The experience was a success because the chicken was cooked perfectly crispy and the server was super nice to allow us to sample each sauce on the side. Honestly, the atmosphere, food, and, service were giving Cheers...
