We've been trying to pick up from local restaurants to support their business but I won't go here again. Lizzy was very rude to customers. Lizzy kept making up rules about how many people could be inside. There are 8 socially distant squares on the floor. She said only 4 people could be inside at a time so we went outside to wait. Meanwhile people kept going inside (without anyone leaving) and she was taking their orders ahead of ours--simply because we were following her instructions. I had to ask her permission to finally order--by this time it was close to empty inside--and she told me only 2 people can now wait inside and I'd have to listen for her to call my name outside the restaurant. I don't know if she's never stood outside, but you can't hear anything. I'm extremely unhappy with the service at a time when many local restaurants thanked us for our patronage. Maybe she's been working too many hours, IDK but we were very polite to her despite everything and even thanked her for working. Maybe try being nice to your customers so they'll want to order next time. It ultimately took 50 minutes to get my food and only because I had to go inside (and break Lizzy's rule!)--just to find that it's been sitting there. She just never bothered to call my name. Then she argued with me about it. As though I had intentionally decided I wanted to wait extra long and take home cold food. Thanks Wing Stop. What the FNfied stuff. I used to love wing stop chicken a lil greasy and of course not that healthy for you. So occasionally we splurge. It had been a few months so yesterday we splurged and me and my sons would eat as kings. Got a large boneless order for the family. Granted we are only five minutes or less away. By the time we started eating the fries where mush! That's ok, started in on the chicken and went in a fried chicken coma! Lol until my wife pointed that these where really greasy. So I looked at a piece and you could see oil? Not just chicken moisture and grease. But oil. Looked at the container they were in and the bottom of their contains about a 1/2 inch thick. WTF! Now did not want to bring up the last who waited on me seemed to have a attitude towards me picking out my order, but it makes me wonder if her bad attitude is reflected in their product. I don't understand all of the negative reviews. This place has great wings, great fries, great rolls, and great brownies. We order from here often. My only negative is that often the order isn't quite right with sides of dressing. Other than that though this is good eatin. Lemon pepper, garlic, or mango habanero are where it's at. I've never really had any issues with any other wing stops (Vista, Oceanside, or Lemon Grove), but this one in Escondido has been horrible since they opened. First things first, every time I place an order, they always make it way too early and by the time I pick up the food, it's already cold. But I usually never let it bother me (that's what an oven or microwave is for). But today, we placed an order of 40 wings for the Super Bowl party and the wings are under cooked! We took a bite in them and they were still bloody on the inside. I'm sorry, but I didn't ask for an extra side of salmonella. If getting a name for the order is protocol then that's the first thing you should ask. The costumer service was horrible, the teenage girl was too busy what it looked like flirting with another employee to even attend me standing at the front. This place is awesome and so underrated! I didn't even know we had one in Esco. Employees: Friendly and helped us decide the best flavors (our first time at wingstop) Store: So clean!! The ledges, under the soda machine, the kitchen, counters, tables, absolutely everything was spotless!
