If I could give it a 1/4 star, I would. Worst customer service. "GM" refused to give us an extra wing carton, because those were the "rules"? We come from out of town and this is the only wingstop we've been to that has given us a hard time over a freakin plate. Guy taking orders looked like he didn't want to be there. WORST STORE EVER. I wish Yelp could let us give negative stars to help everyone understand how terrible of a store this is. The customer service is SO TERRIBLE that it makes me want to start a campaign against them. First time coming in. There was only 2 people there that had ordered their food and was eating and they told me it would 17 minutes. I can go to a slammed restaurant with people in Destin and still probably get wings faster than them. The cashier had such a horrible attitude. She was short and didn't explain anything. She had a pissed off look on her face. So then we changed our mind because we felt disgusted at their service. So I went back for a refund and another cashier was there taking a phone order and just rolling his and you could clearly see he had no service for the customer and right in front of us. So I asked for the refund and said the manager would be back. So I came back and the manager tried to refuse my refund. I didn't take any food. She then gave me an attitude about the refund. Meanwhile an associate was putting lids on a customers drink and someone asked for a to go bag. She didn't say anything or look at him and after 5 minutes she gave him the bag. So I placed a complaint with their corporate. And a week later the owner calls me for a follow up. She didn't even bother apologizing for their lack of service until I mentioned it. All she wanted to talk about is how they have 20 minute ticket times and how dare I question it. Then she tried to talk to me like I'm an employee about how I am not allowed a refund. What is this lady doing as an owner when she can't even talk to a customer? I seriously hope corporate takes control over this miserable excuse of a store. I was in the area and figured why not try this place, as though it only had one review, it's 5 stars. I thought the wings were good, but small. I got 6 wings and 10 "boneless wings", with fries and a drink, ended up around $16 for carry out. There are only 9 flavors, including hot and BBQ, so not a to of choices, but a variety. I got atomic- not nearly as hot as they should be, but not a bad burn; garlic parmesan- these were 5 stars on flavor, they were buttery cheesy and dipped in ranch, just right. Finally were the teriyaki, which almost certainly came right out of a can (though the same can be said for the garlic parm). They were over sweet and sticky, but ok flavour. read more

We ordered the boneless wings and when they came out they were smaller than a chicken nugget you would get from a fast food restaurant, when we asked the owner about the size she made no eye contact and brushed us off and said "that's the way they come." So then we ask her politely again if we could get a refund or if we could at least get some more wings considering we spent nearly $50, and she said "no" explained there was nothing she could do about it and walked away, it was bad enough that the food was unacceptable but the customer service was even worse from the owner. If I wanted some chicken nuggets I would've made a quick stop at McDonalds and it would've been a heck of a lot cheaper! Come here if you want a pre dinner snack! I wouldn't come here. I ordered wings and when I got them, they were the wrong ones. I went back and the owner was rude about the whole ordeal. She insisted she did the order right and I was in the wrong. Later, one of her employees came up to me and told me she messed up on the order and didn't want to acknowledge it. You're in the restaurant biz, customer service is your priority. Don't be rude or people won't come back and you won't have a business to run. And the wings were mediocre anyway. I'll save my money and go to Buffalo Wild Wings. At least their wings are good. read more

WORST customer service I've ever experienced and the SAD thing about it is; it came from the manager. I didn't catch his name because I was blown away just from the thought of him being in a manager position with such a shitty attitude. He was very impatient to start, and when it came to explaining something on the menu, he was not friendly whatsoever. As a BUSINESS OWNER I would NEVER treat a customer in such a way because my goal is for them to be repeating customers. Do managers not have the same goal? Furthermore, I will never be returning nor would I recommend this particular wing stop to others. I know a lot of GREAT people and I will definitely be reporting this guy to cooperate. The food is made when you order, Hot and Fresh delivered to your table. The mango habanero is my all time favorite, and you have to try the fries with cheese. We order from this location one time a week and the food is always good. I really have never had bad food here. You won't be sorry! Love this place! Wings are cooked to order.. not sitting around cooked in advance and reheated. If I am in a hurry I call and order in advance so wings are hot and ready when I walk in to eat there or to go. AND they don't use " anorexic chickens" for their wings. Stopped in for take out and I was not impressed. The man at the counter seemed as though he was not pleased to be working at a wing restaurant. He was rude and unfriendly. I tried to ask a few questions as this was my first time visiting this wing place. He had no time or patience for my questions. I ordered and we sat down to wait. Once our order was ready I specifically asked him if both orders of fries were in the bag and he said yes. I also inquired about the three sauces. Once again I was told yes with eyes rolling everything was in my bag. I took him at his word as the bag was so over filled I couldn't see for sure without unpacking it all right there in front of a line of 10 people. Well we all know now that it wasn't all there if I am mentioning it. My order was short fries and most of the sauces we ordered. Also, we were missing one of the sets of wings we ordered. Now if we were 5 minutes away no big deal. If we had ordered in no big deal. Nope we were 20 minutes away so half of the family got mac n cheese for with their wings to stretch the amount and I ended up cooking after all when I really didn't want to. SAVE YOURSELVES!! Wingstop is the most substandard 'restaurant' in Destin. Tonight, I went to pickup my phoned-in order, which included two bottles of soda. After paying for my order, the employee placed the bottles on the counter, indicating that they were for me. He went back to the kitchen and returned with my food. I asked him for a bag in which to carry the bottles. (I needed a bag because I had my wallet, umbrella, food order, and two bottles of soda to carry to my car, in the pouring rain. But, mostly I needed it because I have debilitating, deforming arthritis in both hands, which affects my ability to grip, grasp and hold.) The attendant went back to the kitchen to ask for the manager's permission to grant my request. HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME A BAG--A SMALL FREAKIN' PAPER SACK!!! I had to make two trips to my car (yep, still raining). What ever happened to taking care of customers???! As a 'local,' I've been a regular customer for years. The food is marginal, at best. And I figured out that each bone-in piece costs approximately $1.00!!! Also of significance is that whenever I've spoken (chit-chat, small talk, etc.) with the manager/employees, more often than not, they complain about hating their jobs and how crappy they are treated by 'corporate.' So many red flags that this is not a business I want to patronize. Although tonight was not my first time receiving lousy service, it is most assuredly my LAST!!! read more

I love Wings Stop but this location is terrible service wise. I came in and the cashier a younger girl early 20's took my order. She was very unfriendly. After I paid about four other people came in and instead of getting my drink after she took my order she starts taking the other customers orders. So I sat and waited not really to concerned at first but after she took the orders she then gets the drinks for the other people that came in after me. I finally had to go back over to the register to ask for my drink. She didnt even apolize for the wait or getting drinks to the customers that came after me. She fills my cup up and then let's it sit behind the counter to go say something to one of the cooks. Finally, she comes back and I get my drink. I went and sat down and not to long later a gentleman came out to give me my wings he didn't even say a word to me or smile. I didn't even want to go ask for a go box or drink refill because the two staff members were so rude to me. You don't have to be buddy buddy with me but at least acknowledge someone and be friendly. There's a real issue if I'm being treated like I'm an annoyance to staff members. My experience was so bad that I joined Yelp just to give a review for this location . Horrible service. The cashier was scratching herself under her shirt as she took our order. This was after waiting 5 minutes until she acknowledged us. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food. If the place was busy maybe that would be understandable but we were the only ones! I also witnessed the cook wiping the top counters off so the crumbs would fall into the sauces below. Let me start by saying that my husband and I love Wingstop. We eat at a couple of locations in Atlanta several times per month. With that being said, STAY AWAY FROM THE DESTIN WINGSTOP!! I don't know if it was the heat that snacked me in the face as soon as I walked in...or the soda machines that were heavily guarded behind the counter...or the very off putting, hovering manager, or the fact that they wanted to charge us for water for my 1 year old. Or maybe it was how 3 different staff membera kept peeping around the counter to see what we were doing (uh, waiting in wings) and coming out to "clean" tables that were already clean and the restaurant was empty. Or possibly it was the 2 orders of wings that were coated in grease and absolutely NO seasoning (I ordered lemon pepper, my husband Louisiana dry rub). When we asked to have our wings tossed in more seasoning, we were told that our wings were seasoned correctly and that it was the grease. Huh? They blamed the cooking grease for why there was no seasoning on the wings. Oh, and let's no forget when we decided to stay to eat our wings, instead of taking them to go. The hovering manager literally walked over and said "you told me you were getting your order to go." I politely told her that we changed our mind. What the what?!? I guess customers eating inside of this hot restaurant is frowned upon. Price wise...as I mentioned, we eat at Wingstop all the time. So I am puzzled why the same order that costs $18 in Atlanta is $27 in Destin. This place won't be around long at the rate they're going and we definitely won't be returning! read more
