SUCH a steal! The 18' pizza was also great, and the crust was very notable, per my friends comments. Everything here is SO affordable for great tasting, fresh food! Coming into the "McGuire's complex" as it were, I didn't think that there was any way we'd get a table for an hour, but we got seated right away in this really small pizza place. Decor is interesting - Italian movie posters, red lights, and what look to be thousands (maybe more) of dollar bills. Started with cheesy bread which was great and had two pizzas: a self made margherita and a meatball and onion. My entire family really enjoyed the pizza at Vinny McGuire. You can't order slices but you basically create your own pizza in 2 sizes. The first 3 tops are included in the price cheese is considered one of the toppings. It's not a big place inside so I wouldn't suggest going with a really large party. There is free parking on-site and it right next to the destin Bridge. Traffic can be a little crazy so plan in advance. Everyone was really friendly and I would go back especially for the service. Bottom Line: I would recommend this restaurant. Great pizza and flavor. Atmosphere: Low, red-light ambience. Fairly quiet so you can enjoy conversation with your companions. Tables are fairly spaced apart. standard bar/pizzeria vibe. They have a nice gag where you write anything on a dollar bill and they let you staple it anywhere on the walls/ceilings/booth frames. How it works: You have a choice between a $20 small (12") pizza or a $25 large (18") pizza. You choose either Italian red sauce or alfredo sauce. Each comes with three free toppings, and they have a very nice, uniqute list of toppings to choose from. They charge $1.99 for each additional topping. One catch: The cheese counts as a topping. Food: Nothing beats Brooklyn, but this NY Style pizza was far better than any pizza of the same kind in Atlanta. We got a large pizza with Italian red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and spinach. On one half, I had them put fresh basil and crimini mushrooms while my companion got pepperoni on her half. This was legit pepperoni. Large, flavorful slices, not that Dominos stuff. Another note: toppings on half of the pizza is still counted/charged as one topping. The Pizza came out piping hot with fresh ingredients and an amazing cheese pull as you attempt to take a slice. The cheese pull was so satisfying that I wish I got a picture of it. Nice flop, good thickness, great flavor. One note: the center of the pizza crust will feel the slightest bit too soft/floppy. This somehow becomes crispier after it's been sitting for a minute or so. I'll reiterate, it's really only two free toppings after you add the cheese which I'm used to coming standard on any pizza. This was a downside to this restaurant. Service: I wish our waitress came by more often, but other than that, she was very polite. Food could have came out a bit sooner, but it didn't take a ridiculous amount of time. Overall: I would recommend this restaurant if you are a tourist. Great flavor, great crust, fresh ingredients, and overall affordable for how many people each pizza serves. read more

This place was great. Finding parking was annoying but once we found a place to park, it was a nice experience. Our wait time was 30 minutes which was fine because we went to the bar to order a drink as we waited. I had the Vinny Margarita and my boyfriend had the Irish Red Ale. The Irish Red Ale is a beer brewed in house which was interesting. Our first server made our drinks pretty quickly. After our drinks we were called for our table. For an appetizer we got "Trash". Trash is pork trimmings. We got complimentary bread and it was honey buttered at the top. I ordered a 16oz New York strip with Irish fries and coleslaw. This came on a skillet with onions rings and a stuffed tomato. My boyfriend had the 12oz filet mignon with Irish Fries and a blue cheese house salad. The meals were large and filling. I had to get a to go box. The ambiance was an experience within itself. Around the restaurant are dollar bills, bag pipes playing and a rooftop dining area. Live music is played at night. So.. this place was temporarily closed due to a fire, luckily it reopened on our last night there and I decided to order one of their pizzas. They give you a small menu and you select what toppings you want with a pen or pencil. This is right next to McGuires Pub. My friend didn't want pizza again and ordered something from McGuires and I placed a carry out order and we went next door but, not before checking out the place that was remodeled after the fire. It is small on the inside but cozy in a way. We walked next door while I waited for my pizza. I went back about 20 minutes later and walked up to their walk up/carry out window. I was told by one of the employees that they were looking for me and I apologized for it, they weren't rude or anything like that I just felt bad that they were looking for me. I went back with my pizza next door while my friend was indulging on Potato Skins. I ordered a Pepp, Sausage, and Bacon pizza. OMG this may be the best pizza in Destin. The pizza was baked perfectly, they had right amount of toppings, and it was mouth watering and satisfying. I wish I could have finished it all. I definitely look forward to coming back here for pizza even though there are other pizza places I didn't get to try down here. I'm glad they reopened when they did. I called Vinny mcguires to again voice my concern about the missing food and spoke with Nate, the manager..he told me that he could DO NOTHING and call Uber Eats. Uber Eats refunded my money but would not offer any other compensation when he even said the driver failed to follow Uber instructions.
