While in town, we were told to stop by Lost Pizza and so glad we did. The restaurant itself was funky in a good way. They had a lot of decor to look at on the walls. It was also decently clean and priced. They have a lot of pizzas to choose from or you could simply make your own. I also like the fact you could choose to have thin or thick crust. Unfortunately they were out of a couple of beers that I wanted to try which was a bummer. I was however, happy to see that they had tamales on the menu. Once we ordered, the food arrived fast and was served hot and fresh. Everything was so delicious but the star of the meal was the jerk wings, which were seasoned to perfection. This restaurant had an interesting mix of food on the menu, but it was all really good. My kids were in the mood for pizza and my husband noticed the restaurant also had tamales. We ended up ordering pizza, tamales, nachos, and wings. I know that sounds like an eclectic mix of food, but all of it was pretty good especially the wings. The wings were cooked so well without us even given instructions on how we wanted them cooked. The kids pizza was like a personal pan pizza and it was very delicious. The tamales were good as well. We ordered Lost Pizza Co. carry-out with high hopes. Most of the reviews said it was good. We disagree. We got 3 large pizzas: Kujo (supreme), Otis (all meat), and half Taco/half Islander (Hawaiian). We also got Chicken Alfredo with a side salad. The chicken Alfredo was okay. The salad was weepy. It also came w garlic bread that was inedible. We could not bite through it and it tasted like grease soaked paper towels. The pizza quality was similar to that of Pizza Hut or Dominoes. The crust was tough to chew. The meat was greasy and burnt. Very nice pizza selections. Staff was friendly and patient with us when we were trying to select what kind of pizzas to get. The place is obviously a favorite in town because it was crowded. It has inside and out seating. The appetizers were great too, we got some wings with golden barbecue sauce and some fried ravioli. We got a small cheese pizza and a small pit boss. We also got a medium kujo which I forgot to take a picture of. The kujo is basically their version of a supreme pizza. All pizzas we got were with the thick crust. Been here a few times now, well ordered delivery and now stopped in and ate. They have a nice decor and scene set up, it was really loud in the back, but there was a youth group there and there isn't a lot in the back to dampen the sound otherwise the vibe was great. The pizza comes out relatively quick and their queso dip and chips is pretty tasty. I really like their tamales and generally enjoy their food. The staff serves you your pizza and works in the back, so unless you need some sort of help or something you'll get your own drinks and sort yourself out which probably helps keep cost a little lower. I'm trying to give this place a decent rating but they're making it really difficult. I ordered again 2 weeks ago and again, this time the pizza was way over cooked to the point the pizza was dry. And I had my wife pick it up so I can save $20.00 because Door Dash raised the price from $34.O0 to $53:00. I got Lucille and the cheeseburger pizza. Lucille lacked any flavor whatsoever. I dosed it in their delicious hot sauce just to save face. The whole ordering process is abnormal you come and get in line and you just I don't know it's weird They do not have waitresses. They take your order you go stand in line to place your order and then somebody will bring it out a long time later. Let me add to this. We've been here an hour and we've had no pizzas so I will definitely not come back here. We had one order received wings wrong temperature. They were extremely hot as opposed to mild other than that. The decor inside is interesting in a good way and sets the vibe. The customer service was great as well. We had 7 people in our party and we had 4 different pizzas and a turkey sandwich along with beer, wine and soda drinks. We all enjoyed our pizzas very much. We had individual pizzas of : Hectors Taco Pie (Seasoned ground beef, onions & Cheddar with a salsa base, cooked & topped with fresh tomatoes & lettuce). This was a little messy with the chunks of lettuce falling off and tasty with a little hot sauce added. It tasted like a good taco pizza. The Pit Boss (Pulled pork, red onions, Cheddar & bacon with a BBQ sauce drizzle), was well liked. The KuJo (Bacon, hickory ham, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, onions, green peppers, black olives & mushrooms) was delicious and enjoyed by two in our party. The Delta Melt sandwich (Turkey, bacon, Cheddar, wine & cheese sauce) was reported as saucy but good and a medium custom builded pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion was very much enjoyed by two in our party. This is a family place that has outside seating and a small play area for the kiddos. There is a bar separate from the order and seating area that has its own TVs and seating. There are TVs inside and out to accommodate your favorite game. Our service was excellent and everyone was friendly on a busy Friday afternoon at 4 pm. Bathrooms were large and clean with very hot water. Decor inside and out is interesting. Learned this is a chain so if I see one on my travels we would be sure to stop. Our family has been looking for good pizza for the past few years around the Island area and this is one place I hope stays. Great selection of pizzas with the most generous toppings of any pizza joint in the area. Flavors were great. Caveat: we tried the tick crust this time....will try the thin next visit. The thick crust had mixed reviews from our family...a little oily for some....just right for the rest. Reminded several of us of Chicago-style (not deep dish). The Otis is a long-time favorite. This is Lost pizza's meat-lover pizza. Meats are various and plentiful. The meatball topping is delicious. Medium to thick crust, they have a thin as well. Walk-up ordering with table service delivery. Atmosphere is fun with old records on the wall, and a drum as a lampshade. I found Lost Pizza on Yelp when we were looking for something different and something pizza. And this restaurant fit the bill and more!! It has pasta, sandwiches, wings, salads, pizzas, desserts, and more! It also has a kids menu and a small bar. But what pizza! My son got a small El Diablo. He said it was the best! I had the baked spaghetti pasta. It was excellent. They also have special delta hot tamales, but we were too full to even try them. You order at the counter, then take the prepared food to a table when they call your name. The decor is really cool and eclectic. They even had a leg lamp, straight out of "A Christmas Story" at the bar. We were staying on Okaloosa Island for only one night. I wish we could have gone here again, so many pizzas to try, but maybe another time. I highly recommend this restaurant!! read more
