We eat there tonight. March 8, 2026 I had lobster and steak. Lobster was not warm and tuff steak was just ok also not hot.Husband had shrimp stuff with lobster not good. We went to Happy Hour at Bonefish, and Derrick, our server, was excellent! He went above and beyond for our table of four--no questions asked. His positive attitude, kindness, and attentive service made the whole experience truly enjoyable. On September 29, we visited Havana Café in Rosemary Beach, and it was a complete disappointment. The prices were higher, and the only thing worth mentioning was the water view. The staff's attitude and service didn't even come close to the level of care we received from Derrick at Bonefish. He sat us in the room without the bar at a booth that had cold air blowing right on me. The paper napkin on the table was moving with the wind. Just because you require your employees to wear long sleeve uniforms doesn't mean your guests should freeze while trying to eat dinner!!!!!!!! I felt our server (Annie - I think that was her name) was "spread thin". I didn't drink alcohol because I was so cold and I just wanted to eat and leave. Just ate for the last time at Bonefish Grill in Destin. I waited for nearly 20 minutes for my drink after ordering it. The waitress never came back to check on whether we had received our drinks, salad or to see how things were during this time. When the salad arrived, it was wrong and had to be redone. Getting the meal was no better. The grouper was extremely dry and difficult to cut, so we had to wait another 15 - 20 minutes for a replacement. The side of coleslaw that I received was in a small shot glass size container, litterly no more than a couple of bites. Over the past year or more we had similar experiences the few times we have eaten at Bonefish, so we will not be going back. read more

I don't like to judge restaurants off their service, but when it makes me uncomfortable enough to not enjoy my food, it makes a difference. All of the seafood/fish dishes we ordered were not good- trout, mahi mahi, bass were all dry and tasted heavily of burnt grill marks and/or didn't have much flavor either on the fish itself or the accompanying sauce. The shrimp and scallops dish were not served hot enough and lacked flavor. It was like everything we had needed salt. The mashed potatoes and the asparagus were ok but the creamed spinach was not good. We also ordered appetizers- bang bang shrimp (delish), poke (wonderful), calamari (just ok), dumplings (not so great), and drinks from the bar which we really enjoyed.
