Stopped by this afternoon just see what they had and pick up some shrimp to grill for supper. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Huge amount of fish iced down and some awesome looking salmon and tuna. Mouth watering. Just a note for us out of towners that this is in a strip mall next to the Walmart across from Henderson Beach State Park. Great little family owned and run place. Loved it. read more

We stopped and asked them to prepare one of their steamer trays...we added 1lb large gulf shrimp, 1/2 pound scallops, sausage, potato's and corn in the old bay seasoning. I ended saving the tray with the butter and baking the fresh grouper in it the 2nd night. Great fresh product. Super helpful behind the counter read more

This is the best place to get seafood in Destin! The customer service is always warm and welcoming. There is no seating on the inside, but there is a bench outside of the restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty. We ordered shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, corn and sausage. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and look forward to our next visit! read more

Fresh seafood steamed at the location. A few things to remember. Please make sure you get what you ordered. They did not give the corm cobs we ordered but we realized it after driving several miles away already. Also, it you choose a fillet that is too thick, make sure they cook them sufficiently. Ours were a bit undercooked. Not too bad given the freshness. They are also very friendly and nice. read more

I was very excited to find this spot after Blalocks closed. The owners were super nice to talk with, and found out the husband runs his own fishing boat, which is where his fish comes from. We had Old Bay seasoning and their homemade garlic butter on our steamed order, and everything was delicious. I will be back the next time I'm in Destin! read more

Best seafood ever. We got, shrimp, corn and, potatoes, with their special sauce . They were steamed on site and ready to eat 10 minutes later at our condo. We also got key lime cake, that, was fantastic. A diet breaker for me. Many reviews mention how friendly they are . I felt like I knew them for years. Do not miss this establishment! read more

Originally went to YELP to find a good fresh seafood spot while on vacation in Destin. This place didn't even pop up, but I felt compelled to submit their first post. We were on the hunt for grouper. The owner asked a couple questions and then brought out a big fresh grouper. He was going to cut fresh filets from the fish. He then realized the first one he brought out was not large enough. He went in the back and brought out a larger fish that would work for the amount we needed. He cut the fresh grouper to the amount we needed and then cut in to filet sizes for our crew of 14. Prices were better than most places we shopped and this was the only place that was literally cutting to order. It's worth the drive regardless of where you are coming from in the Destin area! read more

I saw a sign for red snapper for $15.99 per lb as I entered so I ordered 2 lbs thinking it would be $32 plus tax. It was more like $32 per lb! The bill was $69! I was asked if I wanted the skin off without being told I would be charged about approximately $5 for 30 seconds of work removing the skin! I was also charged $1.98 for using my credit card but was not given a choice to pay cash. The fish was good quality but the way this place interacts with customers is what I would call "passive" by not providing needed information to customers. I don't recommend since they take advantage of tourists. read more

We stumbled on to this place last year. Can't wait to get back in town again this year to buy our seafood. Beautiful shop & the owner is so helpful & friendly. read more

John was so helpful and made sure we rec'd everything we ordered. Freshest seafood in town and the most helpful to go along as you ordred. I can't wait to get back to the beach to visit the store and make another haul back to Alabama. read more

I walked in and was immediately greeted. The owner then took the time to describe all the offerings they had on display; which I appreciated. They had a wide variety of seafood. Given the crew we were vacationing with, I went with shrimp as a common denominator. They were some of the best I've ever prepared. Very fresh and had a slight saltiness to them naturally. Light years ahead of anything frozen. I highly recommend this husband wife team; they're great! read more

We didn't know what to expect when we came in because we're from a landlocked state and don't really have great seafood options. To say we were impressed is an understatement!!! We were greeted immediately despite it being busy (which was a good sign in and of itself). The husband and wife owners were talking with the customers, getting orders packed and doing so with ease and genuine happiness. When it was our turn, they asked us what we thought we wanted, what we'd be making and how many people we'd be serving. I'm a bit of a foodie and nightly home cook and they picked up on that right away and talked to me in a way that acknowledged that I have some idea of what I'm talking about while still helping guide me in the right direction. They educated us on what to look for in a good piece of fish and how to compare fresh with what we get at home (usually frozen). On top of that, they recommended seasonings for our fish and commended my choice to do a shrimp boil. They made you feel like family from the moment you walk in and the vibe of the whole store was great. And... they told us they would ship to us! Overall, absolutely amazing experience and we'd happily return. read more

Loved this place during our recent trip to Destin. This was our go to market for fresh local seafood, clams and shrimp. They had an excellent selection of fish and fair prices. Amazing, delicious & affordable seafood boils! My boyfriend and I have had the shrimp, crab, mussels and it is the best every time! Some of the best quality seafood period! Went there twice and had a variety of everything (snapper, grouper, salmon, shrimps, clams, mussels, crabs) steamed with garlic butter. Plus had a Key Lime Pie for dessert. Everything was fantastic! Top notch quality! Very friendly service as well from the owners John and Araya. Good vibes inside the store as well! Found this little gem on a work trip where I was staying in a hotel and couldn't cook. Went for lunch to get some steamed shrimp. I found them to be VERY helpful and nice. Shrimp was excellent, so I went back for dinner! Wanted fish, and they were very patient and friendly explaining the nuances of the fish and which ones would steam best. Turns out about all of them, but I tried cobia. Outstanding!! In talking with one of the owners, turns out they are looking into opening a location in middle Tennessee!! I hope they do!! Fish was so fresh! Market was extremely clean and did not stink like a fish store!! I will be back every time I am in the area! read more

We stopped in here on our visit to Destin based on the 5 star reviews and the comments that were written by previous visitors. We're so glad we did! The assortment of fish, shrimp, scallops, mussels, etc was amazing and everything was so fresh. The reviews have the same theme - welcoming, great variety of fish and obviously they (John and Araya - hope I have spelling right!!) love what they do. This pace is a find. We ordered shrimp (Cajun) for a grouping of 40 people - excellent. Went back for seafood to take home (9hrs drive) - packed well. Highly recommend the crab cakes. John says they sell 18K a year and now I know why. Also, try Araya's sauce - goes great with shrimp. Be careful easy to be engaged when you enter the place - and also be ready to wait as people know this place exists for great seafood. It's no longer a secret!! Related to wait - they do not push you through as a transaction. They will give you as much time as you need to ask, ask and then ask again. read more

We were surprised to discover this gem of a seafood market. First we brought home the shrimp he steamed for us and of so delicious and fresh. Great little Seafood Market but, with a nice variety of fresh seafood. They offer prepared items as well such as Crab cakes, which are delicious.. The store is clean! This guy is top notch! He cares about the seafood- eyes of the fish are clear and vibrant and gills are red showing just how fresh his fish is! Crawfish are just like the best in Louisiana! I was extremely impressed read more

What a welcoming, generous fish market! My husband definitely made a friend in the owner, and as someone who is so into cooking this made him so happy. The owner is a chef and would throw in some sauces and seasonings or just something to try. You can tell they love what they do and live to build connection with others. Such incredible seafood caught that morning and so reasonably priced! There are so many more things we wanted to try and we tried it twice and are thinking about tomorrow too. We are from Michigan and would be broke if we lived by here, but wouldn't be sad about it. You have lifelong customers!! read more
