I love this place! Great food fast and reasonably priced as well. I have never been disappointed with numerous visits to this place. I am admittedly easy to please but I'm picky about my food. I typically get carry out so the atmosphere is just in and out. It seems the dining area is Spartan, no trash can, but not at all uninviting. The staff are great too. Ordered a 40 piece flats only for a party with fries and two brownies. Came in was not greeted picked up my stuff and drove back. When I got back home the flats only was not flats only there where 5 or so drum sticks I paid for drums only 4 or 5 bucks extra so I expected this to be flats only. When I called them I waited about 7-8 minutes before someone answered and said that there were only 5 drumsticks but again that's not the point why do I have to pay for flats only and not get it. In addition they never put the brownies in the bag so I asked for them just adjust my bill and the person rudely answered that they can not adjust the bill because it was ordered online. I went there ready to be impressed and I was let down in a big way, i ordered so boneless wigs and ended up with some small nuggets about 1/2 the size of a Mcnugget and the sauce had alot to be desired I tried 3 types the atomic hot which had a kick but nothing to write home about, the Cajun which was the best of the 3 but still not that great and the teriyaki which might of been good but small nuggets were swimming in the sauce, again I wanted to like it but jewels wings were better than these to bad. read more

Ordered a 10 piece boneless combo for $12 and when I got home noticed there were only 9 pieces (big deal I know, but you'd feel mad too knowing you've spent a dollar per wing), and the wings were pretty dry unfortunately. Veggies I ordered with it too seemed old and were poorly put into the bag. Also, bag leaked out grease and ranch so that was pleasant. Worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Why should we pay people $15 an hour when they can't get fast food orders right? The people in there this evening were yelling and talking about which movie to watch later while trying to splash someone with the fry cook oil. Great example to have in a place where I did take my kids. I ordered 15 wings and received 12 and asked for the sauce on the side. It never made it in to bag to go home with me. I have had this happen at least 2 other times I have been in there. I am sorry but I won't be returning here again. I will go to the Buffalo Wild Wings instead. read more

The bone in wings at this location are possibly the worst I've ever had. The chicken was legitimately drier than the breading and along with the flavor it was not worth the money. The boneless wings were also extremely dry and severely over-salted. This was also caped off by the oblivious staff to the preteen kids actually running around --yelling profanities and stealing food/drinks. read more

This is a nice addition to downtown Des Plaines. I'm not big on wings, but I like boneless, and these beat the pants off Buffalo Wild Wings. Most importantly, the batter is very crispy and crunchy (though a little on the salty side). The chicken actually tastes like chicken. They could use a little more variety in sauces. The Louisiana Rub is my favorite, and Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper, and Hot are all pretty good. I wasn't too impressed with the Chicken Strips, which are only about the size of two boneless wings - they seem redundant. The fries are especially good and a very different taste of fry. read more

I have been coming here for a while. They increased their prices and said it was due to offering bigger wings. The larger wings only lasted a couple of months and now they are back to being inconsistent in size. Now, it appears they have been skimping on the size of the fries. Both issues combined will make me think twice about going back. It's a shame for them to compromise the quality of food in order to save a few pennies. read more

My husband and I ordered online. His order of wings was supposed to come with a ranch dip. My order of chicken tenders was supposed to come with two dips--I ordered ranch for both. When we got the order home, there was only one dip in the package and it was blue cheese. This is not the first time they messed up on the dips. Otherwise, the wings and tenders were good. I tend to stay near the bottom half of the flavors, which are not as hot as the ones listed at the top. read more

Ordered a 30 piece family meal on Super Bowl Sunday. First, the person on the phone acted as if they had no idea what I was asking for, so I explained the meal package as described on the website. She then told me it would be 45 minutes before I could pick up. Given the fact it was the Super Bowl, that seemed reasonable. Just before I arrived 45 minutes later, they called, acting as if I was taking forever to pick up my food. I arrived 45 min after I ordered and the food was done, sitting out with no heat element to keep it warm. Got it home and it was cold...which was disappointing, but I was still excited to eat. Fries were gross, had a burnt aftertaste to them and a funny flavor to the oil they used. Even my 3 year old daughter wouldn't eat them. Into the trash they went. Wings were ok, went with the original hot and some varieties of garlic parm. They prob deserve 3 stars if the fries were ok and service any good. Not worth going back again. read more

I've gone to this location over the past two years or so for my lunch and dinner breaks because they were the only place close by to where I work. The service has ranged from really great to really bad, and that's a shame considering this location is really great for those who like to use public transportation. The staff have always been polite, so that is a plus. I've had some orders screwed up, or forgotten - to their credit these guys have always made things right and I appreciate that so I won't write them off completely (hence why I am rating two stars and not one). I've experienced better in terms of fast food service and delivery. They closed for a few hours, had a note on the door but never specified what time they'd be back. I was not able to pick up my order until maybe three hours later. If I had a suggestion to management, it would be to tell customers when/what time you're going to be back if you're going to close. I work in the customer service industry myself, so I get there are times when stuff happens, and there is nothing you can do but at the very least just communicate better. I want to come back and give my business, but I'm really not motivated to when there are random closings and management won't bother telling people what time they'll be back. read more

The wings were not very meaty, they are expensive (for what you get), and the dipping sauce is extra. The celery/carrots are extra as well. The blue cheese dressing was nothing special and seemed to be out of a bottle. There is nothing great about the wings either. The food sort of had a funky flavor to it but it tasted good after the food got cold. When the food was hot it sort of tasted like Cajun and hot sugar in your mouth. The fries were sweet too and I couldn't eat them hot.. Mainly because my mouth was getting numb from eating here. After it turned cold the fries tasted good. The service was great. I placed an order online at 11:14 P.M , more than half an hour before the restaurant closed. My order was said to be ready by 11:32 P.M. Before driving to the establishment I called to make sure my order would be ready and I got confirmation that it effectively was ready. When I arrived to the establishment, the doors were locked. I knocked on the door as I clearly saw two employees cleaning around the store. Both employees continued to clean without acknowledging me. Therefore I called the store since I thought they didn't hear me. Since I was outside the store I could hear the phone ringing when I called but neither did anything to try and answer my phone call. I waited outside the store in the cold for 30 min without either employee doing anything to attend to me. I personally don't think this is how costumers should be treated. I have had good expiriences using online order from other wingstop locations in the past. I placed an order for a wing dinner combo online. I recieved a confirmation e-mail and an approximate time for pick up. I then recieved an e-mail indicating my order was ready. I work near by and walked to pick up my order. When I arrived it was nearly 3 min before any of the 4 clueless looking staff members welcomed or engaged me. When the 19ish counter girl finally came to the counter she was un enthusiastic and seemed to be under the influence of a certain herb. She asked for my name which I polietly gave her and after asking my first name for a fifth time was un able to find my order. I could see it sitting in the warming window but did not say as much. After she returned with a puzzled look on her face and began to ask if I wanted to place a new order as they were un able to find the first one I explained to her that it was in the window. She looked at me blankly and made no attempt to check the order in the window at this point my patience was running thin so I chose to reorder and come back to get my dinner. She walked off to respond to a co worker before taking my order at which time I relized chicken wings for dinner was not meant to be. My only other time ordering from this location was a large phone order. When I picked up the order I again was forced to wait several minuetes before the 4 staff members watching the television acknowledged me. My order was ready and I took it back for my hungry co workers. When I returned to work I relized the containers seemed small for the 100 wings I had ordered and according to my recipt paid for. After opening the containers I was only given 50 wings. When I called to attempt to pick up the remaining part of my order I was told that it was all in the bag and thank you have a nice day. This buisness has very poor customer service I cannot comment on their food as the one time I ate it I thought it was ok. If you are looking for good service look else where.
