Galbi boneless lunch special

Ordered the galbi boneless wings for lunch. It was a lunch special. There are a few tables. Staff is friendly.

Spicy Galbi 8pcs Wings w/ pickled radish

The customer service was great! The lovely lady working was very kind to my friend and I. The food came out relatively quick, and man I'll tell you them wings were . They were fresh, juicy, and had a lot of flavor . It wasn't too spicy and had that perfect crunch. I took home 2 wings because they are quite big. I will most definitely be going back! The vibe of the place was very lively. There was music playing and it was very colorful.

Stopped here for dinner today and we were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly afterwards. The ambiance is cool with cool lighting. We ordered the following items for a total of $57 dollars: - Sweet Potato Fries - Kimchi Fried Rice - 8 pc Secret Sauce Boneless Wings l - 8 pc Honey Garlic Boneless Wings Honestly the only thing I liked here were the sweet potato fries the wings were basic and the sauce lacked flavor. Overall: 3/5.

I just learned that in medical abbreviations that q means daily. So if I were to prescribe bb.qqd, then you should eat delicious Korean fried chicken daily. Suppose I were to prescribe bb.qq2h, well then you should eat fried chicken every two hours. And just imagine, bb.qqh, you should be eating delicious golden crispy chicken every hour. I think that might be impossible because the golden crispy fried chicken is served very hot and it takes a long time to cool down, but it is delicious nonetheless. There was literally no one else in this Niles location when a friend and I stopped in. Our onion rings were brought out rather quickly and it was a generous portion. The wings took a little longer. We ordered the golden original wings and they came out crispy, golden and so hot we couldn't eat them. Once they finally cooled slightly, we were able to enjoy them--they are hand-battered and fried at a lower temp for a long time to get that unique crispy shell. To get that happy joyful feeling during these gloomy winter days, Dr Karyn prescribes this (I'm not a dr but I pretend to be one when writing restaurant reviews) Rx: bb.qqd until qs.

Ordered Secret Sauce 1/2 chicken and Gangjeong Wings (8 pcs) for take out. Wings are double fried, same as Bonchon, however I could not get a good gangjeong flavor profile. I actually preferred the whole chicken, it was perfectly fried, juicy and moist. The secret sauce was bit on the sweet side. Stick to the wings if you prefer the double fried option, but if you have large group, order mixture of the wings and whole chicken. The pickled radish was ok, I like it more on the sour side, but it wasn't bad. However, they don't give too much. Was sad that they did not have coleslaw, sounds like they got rid of them. On the next visit, I'll have to try spicy golden original as I'm told it's good.

Came here because CM chicken in Niles really didn't give enough chicken in our order, so last minute decision to come here to get more. In comparison, bb.q was 60% of the price with 20% more quantity. The fried batter was good but maybe a bit more plain. The soy garlic sauce was a bit darker than what I'd like, but the pickled daikon was still good.

Soy garlic, gangjeong, Mala, and secret sauce

My friends and I stopped by because we were craving Korean fried chicken, and it definitely didn't disappoint! We got four different flavors, and they were unique in their own way. (From right to left) -The secret sauce (the furthest right one) was my personal favorite. It was a little spicy but had a nice sweetness that blended well together. The sauce was the thickest one of the four. -The Mala was the most spicy out of the four, but the spice wasn't unbearable, it just had a kick to it. -The gangjeong was the most unique one out of the four. It was very sweet to being with, and then at the very end, it had a spicy kick that caught me off guard. The sauce was still very delicious and had a cinnamon taste to it. -Garlic soy was very delicious. The only thing that was different about it was that the chicken was completely coated with the sauce, but I'm guessing it would have been too much garlic soy flavor? The vibes of the restaurant were very chill. It seems like a nice place to go before going out to eat and drink with friends. They had a lot of different shows and K-pop videos playing on the tvs. They also had a gaming system available to play with too.

I've been obsessed with bb.q chicken even before this place was established. All thanks to those late nights binge watching K-Dramas and drooling over their foods. Bb.q chicken has been featured in the shows enough for one to put it on their "Food Bucket List." There are several flavors you may choose from but I selected the secret sauce. Which is sweet and tangy; gochujang base. This sauce is not overpowering nor overly sauced. Oh, you can't just buy a few wings. This chicken is so addicting, you must buy the whole chicken. That's what we did for two persons. Rice and pickled radish Korean radish came with our order. I believe you may choose other sides if you wish. First off, they fry the chicken fresh so it's not sitting around. Plus, it's fried twice. Yes, twice to make it extra crispy. This process does not dry out the meat. They paint on the sauce so it's not drenched. The chicken stays crispy even after our half an hour drive to the hotel. We even brought some home the following day and it heats well in the air fryer. So crunchy, tender, and exploding with flavors. I loved and savored each bite. So good! It's not overly salted like KFC or Popeyes. When we walked inside, we weren't immediately greeted but the woman behind the counter was willing to assist. There was a K-pop video on the TV, piles of trash on two tables, and used napkins on the floor. Another woman joined the dining area but looked bored and uninterested in cleaning. This particular establishment is in a very nice location. On a mall strip next to other Asian establishments and a movie theater. The order took 25-30 minutes to make. It may be best to order ahead if you are in a rush.

My favorite Korean chicken wings!!! So juicy, tender, crispy/crunchy on the outside that cuts through the sauce. And so many different wing options! Whether you like it "dry" (Original, Spicy original, Cheeseling) or "saucy" they've got something for you. Honestly every flavor I've tried has been delicious, from the Soy garlic, Cheeseling, Galbi, Gangnam style, secret sauce. IT'S ALL GOOD. Don't think you can go wrong. The radish and coleslaw are also a good way to balance the heaviness of everything else. Also really enjoyed the Rose Ddeok-Bokki, unique and delicious, still with some kick. The times I've eaten in service has been good, they come pretty quickly after using the call button at each table. It definitely has a Korean bar type of feel to the restaurant with TVs everywhere playing K-pop music videos (along with other things) and they do serve alcohol for those that partake. There are a lot of choices in terms of Korean Chicken in the Niles/Glenview/Morton Grove area and this one is not to be missed!

This place is pretty unassuming on the outside, but once you go in it has vibrant hip vibe. We got seated pretty quickly. They used to have an arcade console and board games in the back for customers to play while waiting for food, but those are no longer there unfortunately. Their fried chicken is the highlight, it is very flavorful yet juicy on the inside. My favorite is the soy garlic chicken, the savory but crunchy outer coat is to die for. We also tried the rose ddeok bokki, it was creamy and had a little heat. Overall, I prefer bbq's chicken over choongman, but definitely recommend a try if you're a Korean fried chicken fan!

Jin Soo KBBQ was such a solid spot for a full-on Korean BBQ experience…read more From the start, the table setup was on point -- a generous spread of banchan like kimchi, fish cake, creamy salad, and dipping sauces that all complemented the meat perfectly. I love when the sides keep coming and actually taste fresh, and these definitely did. The grill experience was the highlight. Watching the marinated beef sizzle over the charcoal while it caramelized and crisped at the edges? Elite. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- especially dipped into the sesame oil sauce or that savory soy-based sauce with scallions. Every bite wrapped in lettuce with garlic and sauce was chef's kiss. And the yukhoe (beef tartare) was beautifully presented -- layered with avocado, topped with a glossy egg yolk and garlic slices. It was fresh, rich, and buttery with just the right amount of seasoning. Mixing it all together made it creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, Jin Soo delivers on quality meat, great sides, and that interactive KBBQ vibe that makes the meal feel like an experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to when you're craving good Korean BBQ in Chicago

The redecorating and ambience was modern and sleek, with fully operational and clean water features. Grills were gas-operated, one grills there own meat items here. I really liked the natural-stone mini-subway style tiles on the walls. Like a lot of Korean places I have seen, the seats had minimal padding. I think this would be a great place for a date if you're in the area, a prize in an unassuming strip mall anchored by an auto parts store. Food was great, they happily and generously provided more banchan and also gave us complimentary bowls of soy paste soup that was practically jumping out of the bowl. As civilised as I tried to be, using my chopsticks and the cooking tongs correctly, I still felt like I completely stuffed my face like at a trough '^_^ it was all so good. Maybe to accommodate the neighborhood, the banchan was not nearly as spicy as we expected, so that might be great for someone trying Korean for the first time. Some might balk at the prices of some items, such as $24.99 for 1/2lb of raw meat, but we had a very enjoyable time and hope to come again.

We didn't try any food since we came from a late dinner but I could see how it would add to the ambience. Dropped a star due to confusion/miscommunication with staff when we were directed to our room. We were a group of 10 that booked a small room but were seated in the large room. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we didn't think anything of it. When we went to pay, we realized that it was not a complimentary upgrade and were charged for the large room ($20 more per hr). We ordered the following - prices were a bit high overall: - kimchi fried rice: the cheese made this nice and savory and this was the best bang for your buck because of the portion - galbi: pretty tasty but small pieces - chicken feet stew: this came out cold so we had to send it back- they had forgotten to bring out the portable burner that comes with the dish. Otherwise this was very spicy (which I liked) and a big portion - bossam: my favorite dish. Lots of sides that came with the pork belly, which was great because none of the other dishes came with banchan or kimchi. Rice is usually an extra cost, but the server gave it to us complementary during this visit. I'm glad I tried a lot of dishes and had tasty Korean bar food! I'd recommend giving it a try.

I recently stopped by with my boyfriend while passing through the area, and Korean soup hits differently when it's freaking cold outside. I ordered the "mix" soup (seollungtang with meat and tendon), and it came out boiling just the way it should be. The bowl includes thin flour noodles, tender meat and tendon, and is topped with green onions. It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking. All of that plus a Diet Coke came out to $33.99 for both of us. In this economy? That's a solid deal. The lady and the man working behind the counter are always sweet, which is a plus. The food was comforting and much needed. I'm so thankful this place still exists and is standing strong even after Assi is gone. I've been here twice and the little side dishes appear to rotate slightly so they weren't the same both times (I confess I ordered the goat soup both times). I see a lot of past reviews mention the oxtail. I wish I could get some of that. There is bulgogi and rice on the menu too. The spicy pork bulgogi was plentiful, but it wasn't as spicy as the soup.
