I like to switch it up on em! The atmosphere is fun and laid back and on weekends they have karaoke and these customers are passionate about their karaoke okay! The drinks are great and i basically know all the nighttime bartenders. They are such cool and down to earth people! And I can't forget the karaoke DJ, I think his name is Marcos! omg his voice is amazing! When he sings Tennessee whiskey I know he is singing it just for me! lol! The food is typically bar food, burgers, fries, wings pizza etc and Emilio the cook does his thang and he is so sweet.. Doyle is amazing.. a lot of regulars but we welcome all

The Hideout is an appropriate name because it's hiding in the middle of suburban wasteland. A limited menu because they're out of a lot. You can still get cheap drinks and food so it's something. Coming in here it wasn't crowded. It's located in what looks like an office park. There's a big parking lot and a few offices that look unoccupied. On the corner is this place. The inside is bigger than it looks and there's enough room for groups and parties. It's about $4 for the cheapest cocktails. We each got a margarita. A small one but these are strong enough. The food choices are lamer. It's about $5 to get an appetizer. We got the Chips And Salsa. Great stuff and it was spicy as fuckballs. The rest of the food is meaty. Great place for hanging out and getting cheap cocktails and food. It's located on Valley Lake. There's not much great for vegetarians.

We've yet to travel to Japan, but feel this would be a similar experience if you were to travel to the country. The menu has quite a few items in Japanese only. You could tell the chef has a great connection with his fish supplier. We can't find anyone else that has the quality matched in this area for the size. We always return for the grilled mackerel. It's a crowd pleaser doesn't have a fishy aroma at all and it's cooked to perfection every single time. They also have karaoke right next door if you are looking for a fun night experience. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

The fried chicken with sweet & sour sauce was really delicious. They also brought plenty of Bon chon items and even refilled them for us. Surroundings and seating was intimate. Alinaa our server was friendly, helpful and checked on us often. It was a delicious meal and I'd highly recommend it as a change of pace to the AYCE places.

I saw some recent newbies complain about the portions being small. I believe they didn't order a lot or they ordered the wrong things. The current portions are not small, they're just mid quality. Btw the banchan is unlimited. We were a group of 3 and got the Taste of Seoul set for 4. It came with fried dumplings, popcorn chicken, beef bulgogi, LA galbi, galbi chicken, pork belly, and kimchi fried rice. Service was good. Our server came back often to check on us. Other than that, this is not a place I would return to. K-bbq in Palatine is way better and authentic. Overall, this is a 2.5-3 at best. -Fried dumplings 2.5 - The fried dumplings tasted store bought, not something that was made from scratch. -popcorn chicken 1 - this is the worst popcorn chicken I've ever tasted. It was dry and there were way too many fried batter pieces. Not enough meat. -beef bulgogi 5 - this was fine. -LA galbi 5 - this and the beef bulgogi are the highlights. -galbi chicken 1 - I think I would take this off the Taste of Seoul set. It's just too dry and bland. I've been to Seoul along with many kbbq places in Illinois, we had mostly beef and pork. -pork belly 3 - not the best quality but better than the chicken. -kimchi fried rice 5 - the rice was good, I liked the crunchy pieces.

This place has reasonable bar food for a hub of aggressive, overly imbibed people doing everything…read morebut "drinking" coke. The service is terrible and played around their "regulars" instead of them and average paying customers. This means you could be waiting to order or cash out as long as it takes for the bartenders to get out of their conversations, take a smoke break, and play on their phones for 30 minutes before actually making themselves present to you. I've also seen them trying to take shots with peoples parties and wind up getting into arguments with these customers when they found out that they're expected to pay for the bartender's shots even if they did not initiate it. Thats not as bad as how they let their regulars act and treat anyone in any way they please especially if they're selling or already hopped up on god knows what. Whats even crazier is that this place is a know "Cop Bar" and yet the cops never do anything here to stop any of it. The cops and management know exactly what goes on here and obviously get a slice of the profits so be warned, they will not be called by management. Instead, they let their bouncers handle who they think is trash. With all that said the vibe here is tense. Security is always fighting and tossing people out. Staff wont cut people off even when they are obviously not ok, because they care about the pay, not the wellbeing's of their clientele and to top all that off, the police come in off duty here but are never called in uniform when they are needed. The red flags are clearly present. You choose what you do with the information.

There was a menu that we got- mind you there are no pictures on the menu, so you would probably have to read descriptions or figure out what dishes were if you were not familiar with Korean food. We ordered a variety of dishes to share for our party of 3. We ordered the seafood pancake, bossam, garlic wings and the budae hot pot. It was plenty of dishes for the three of us to try. The seafood pancake was good and prepared perfectly with lots of filling. The bossam was cooked well too and came with a big plate of toppings and sides to go with it, all of which were good. The garlic wings was not very much like Korean fried chicken but more had like just an Asian taste to it. The skin was not super crispy and cooked like typical KFC. Though still decent taste. Also came with some fries and some deep fried duk. The budae hot pot was large and shareable. The ramen came already cooked in the pot rather than sitting on top uncooked. The dish was not as spicy as thought, which was nice. Lots of meats and stuff inside. Overall a great meal here.

Pair that with your choice of many different types of ramen packets helped keep the joy of hot steaming flavorful food.Beware that different ramen packets are labeled to show their heat intensity. Be aware that robot waiters bring the food to your table (Jetson styles) make sure you grab everything before your waiter rolls away.
