Sweet and mild Korean fried chicken!!
    Daniel Y.

Koreans know how to make fried chicken. Noori is located in the Assi Plaza Food Court, and they know how to make that chicken right! It takes a while for your order to be made, but what you get will take you to a very happy place. The sweet and mild chicken is the showcase for Noori, and it can be ordered in half or full quantities. The sauce makes this chicken! I'll have to order the soy garlic chicken next time. Another great thing to order here is the Bungeoppang (Japanese call it Taiyaki). It's a hot fish shaped pastry with red bean filling and it's delicious! It also takes a while to make, but it's one of my favorite Korean treats. I always share one with my wife, so give it a try! Just in case you're lost trying to figure out where this is, look for the Doore Hoodo Doore Fried Chicken sign above the establishment. It's the only fried chicken place in the food court.

Phenomenal fried chicken that us crispy and juicy.its dine after you order so its going ti take a while.but its worth the wait.as the saying goes, good thing takes time. In this case it is absolutely true. Moreover, as the chicken is done after you order and is is juicy, it is easy to burn yourself! But its so hard to wait! Half chicken is $10 and while chicken is $17. Either original taste or sweet and spicy or soy garlic.

Simple and delicious, the skin is deliciously crispy while the meat is moist and tender and marinated well. Definitely give the boneless chicken a try on your visit.

    Boneless Supreme Chicken

A good Korean fried chicken joint that sets itself apart due to their boneless options and large portion sizes. The restaurant is in the food court of Assi Plaza (enter the mall and go left). I appreciated the fact that they are made to order, and will take 10-15 minutes to fry your chicken for you. The plain fried chicken is great when paired with the honey mustard sauce it comes with, but their supreme chicken (which comes drizzled in a sweet chili sauce) is my favorite. The hot and spicy chicken comes drowned in the same sauce, but loses a bit of its crunch as a result. Their fish shaped desserts (Taiyaki) are filled with red bean paste and are pretty good. It's worth checking out.

They also sell Taiyaki right here, and they are so GOOD! It's only two dollar including the tax, and it is worth the money.

I tried almost all the Korean chicken places around this area, and by far this one definitely is my favorite. First, their price compared to their portion is the best among the restaurants, and their fried chicken is SO good. Most of the time I prefer to order boneless chicken since it is easier to eat, and I always go with number 10 which is the Boneless Hot and Spicy. That hot & spicy sauce is totally worth to try out if you like to eat spicy food. It kind of has a kick and the soreness on your lips after eating it, but it is manageable and addictive. I tried all of their flavors, and all of the others were good too actually. My favorite part on their chicken is the crispiness, so if you really want to enjoy that, you'd better get your sauce on the side when your ordering the chicken. Also, they surprisingly sell Taiyaki in a same store. Taiyaki is a sweet pastry that has sweet red bean paste in it, but it seems like they have more options for the filling. Anyway, I only tried the red bean Taiyaki just out of curious, and that was super yummy too. The bread is really chewy, but out side is very crispy. You all should try this too if you like some sweet pastry after your dinner. One little downside they have is actually the place because they are placed on a food court of a big market. On the weekend, they are usually full of people at lunch time and dinner time, so it is hard to find a seat. However, if you are going to pick up the food and eat at your home, that would be a no problem. Anyway, I love their chicken. I would definitely visit here often whenever I feel like I need to eat Korean fried chicken.

This is probably my favorite chicken house!! It was fantastic!! I went with the bone which is no.2 in the menu. I love the sauce!! The chicken taste really good and is fresh!and next time I'm going to try the boneless one!! Definitely coming back! The man who took my order was also extremely friendly! Best chicken in the town, and best service in the town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it~~~~~~ The store is in the ASSI plaza food court IN Niles. The location is very easy to found with the best service. I like the number 2 sweet mild chicken with bone. It is wonderful. My friend who from Korean said it tasted some good as Korean fried chicken. If you want to try Korean style don't miss this one~

This is a little food court business in Assi Plaza. We tried a half order each of #2 sweet and mild and #4 soy garlic chicken for a total of $16.99 pre-tax. The chicken quality, taste, and sizes were quite good, fresh, and hot. I liked the taste of #4 better myself, though #2 was fine. The order comes with nice little sides of radish cubes and a chilled shredded cabbage salad. Eating here at the casual food court was not great as they give you a single thin napkin, and a small plate upon request, and it's a bit messy during and when done. It would be nice if they had a roll of paper towels like at BBQ places, but it's a cost they don't want to absorb. Conveniently though, restrooms are close and right across the shopping corridor. Anyway, based mainly on good food quality, I'll say 4 stars overall. Take home would be more convenient, but the product would not nearly be as good. We don't eat chicken wings a lot, so I don't have much comparative insight on the relative value here versus other places. The name on the facade also says DooRe HoDoo DooRe Chicken but this is Noori (for some reason) and that's what their business card says too.

It's inside the Assi Plaza. I was confused too when I went. You need to go into the super market and the restaurant is in the food court

I love when the sides keep coming and actually taste fresh, and these definitely did. The grill experience was the highlight. Watching the marinated beef sizzle over the charcoal while it caramelized and crisped at the edges? Elite. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- especially dipped into the sesame oil sauce or that savory soy-based sauce with scallions. Every bite wrapped in lettuce with garlic and sauce was chef's kiss. And the yukhoe (beef tartare) was beautifully presented -- layered with avocado, topped with a glossy egg yolk and garlic slices. It was fresh, rich, and buttery with just the right amount of seasoning. Mixing it all together made it creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, Jin Soo delivers on quality meat, great sides, and that interactive KBBQ vibe that makes the meal feel like an experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to when you're craving good Korean BBQ in Chicago

I would come again but not necessarily a WOW I MUST come again. If that makes sense. Decent KBBQ joint.

As civilised as I tried to be, using my chopsticks and the cooking tongs correctly, I still felt like I completely stuffed my face like at a trough '^_^ it was all so good. Maybe to accommodate the neighborhood, the banchan was not nearly as spicy as we expected, so that might be great for someone trying Korean for the first time. Otherwise this was very spicy (which I liked) and a big portion - bossam: my favorite dish. It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking.
