Eh. The chicken is good quality (I've tried the boneless wings and the chicken strips) but the sauces are really lame. We've ordered three or four different times now, an we've tried almost all the sauces and they're just all kind of weird and some are pretty gross. Even the BBQ is just different in not a great way. The seasoned fries are really nice. I want to love this place because I love wings and it's right by my house, but it's just so mediocre. And honestly, it's not especially cheap either. Compared to BDubs, it's less expensive and I think the chicken is a huger quality, but the underwhelming to gross sauce option kills the otherwise great potential! read more

So I came at 1120 and they said no orders. Nope. Never again. Byron wing stop. Sorry to be negative but that is kinda shitty

I love the wings and fries from here and the ranch sauce is exceptionally good. The wings are consistently good and this place has great service and is really clean (when pick the food up they make sure to put the fries in last so they are as hot and crispy as they can be). Our favorite flavors are the original hot, garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper. We always get the 30 family pack and have leftovers. read more

Holy fuck this place sucks. Waited 30 minutes for a small Boneless wing combo and the lady next to us had been waiting for an hour for a pickup order. Never coming here again and if you're reading this I would go to another location. read more

I haven't eaten wing stop in months because the locations near my home are pretty gross. But this one is near my job & it's really good & fresh. I call in my order & by the time I arrive it's ready. I've only had the lemon pepper wings, but they were fresh and hot. I'll definitely kp going bk. read more

This place is so good! Fresh hot wings every time that I go there, only bad thing is limited places go sit down and eat, but most just pickup and go. read more

love the wings here totally good and totally awesome service i would recomend lemon pepper wings falvor ! read more

Wingstop - 25 Years Of Flavor - Chicken Wings Near Me - Des Plaines, Illinois

Typically one cannot go wrong with chicken, but Wingstop missed the mark this time. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but was very low on sauce. I've never eaten a buffalo wing that did not require the use of napkins after eating them. Also for $12.99, the wings could've been larger. Hopefully this was a isolated occurrence. I will continue to patronize this establishment. read more

Overall experience was good. Only one complaint. I'm an iced tea drinker who enjoys iced tea with lemon. There is usually fresh lemon at the drink station in Wingstop. At this location however, they had lime, not lemon, at the drink station. Lime is not a viable substitute for lemon when it comes to iced tea. I'll try a different location next time as I don't think this is a company wide change. read more

I don't eat wings but I do love chicken. I've been in twice now and I love love the chic strips. not all breading like some places. coupled with the honey mustard-which taste better than your average honey mustard, = divine. The yeast rolls- so soft and buttery. and another stand out is the baked beans. not tok sweet or salty. read more

First wingstop I've tried and it was fantastic! I usually always go with the bone-in wings anywhere I go but here we were just getting food quick so we went boneless and to my amazement they were delicious! The fries were amazing as well! But the main reason I gave this place 5 stars is because I have a friend who cannot have gluten and they were able to completely make her food separately and had a whole separate menu stating which food/sauces were gluten free. It was awesome and easy! Go here for the great food and if you can't or don't want gluten, this place will do it for you! read more

This is a great little hidden gem that just opened in downtown Des Plaines. Service was slow the first couple of weeks but now that they have worked out the kinks, I have no complaints. My favorite is the garlic parmesan (which I like better here than BWW). Plus you have to try the fries, they are AMAZING! read more

Wingstop - Garlic Parmesan 6 Piece Meal! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Des Plaines, Illinois

I'll be honest, since I have Celiac disease I've not had many wings in my day. That said, These are pretty good! Had a co-worker recommend this place and as luck would have it I live two minutes away. The menu is pretty extensive for a wing place. I got all the ones that were GF and wasn't disappointed. The flavors were all fine, won't blow your mind or anything but good. There is sparce seating, so it's mainly catered to take out. I'm sure they use just conventional factory farm Meat but you couldn't expect anything else really. If you are interested in wings you'll more than likely enjoy what they have to offer. read more

Great place to go and so happy that it's open till midnight. The wings are pretty decent. I'm a fan of Buffalo Joes in Evanston and Gator's in Palatine but since I live right accross the street from this wingstop it's a welcome addition to DP. Keep up the good work! read more

Great tasty wings with a nice selection of flavors. And I never leave hungry because of the heart helping of some of the best french fries!

This place has not improved. The wings are tiny and the fries are not that good. I'll stick with Buffalo Wild Wings.

Great employees, great service, great atmosphere. Fries are fresh and delicious ( recommend getting large because they're addicting) The chicken actually taste like chicken 5 stars read more

Came here for lunch during the work week. Pros: amazing wings yummy fries Cons: wait can be long if you don't order ahead (can be an issue if you only have 30mins for lunch) place is kinda small. read more

I love wing stop. But this experience was just very bad. The service was terrible. The workers were not paying attention and when I was asking questions they would just stare blank faced. I was very unsatisfied because of how unprofessional they were. Then following I realized I'd made a mistake with my order and purchased just celery instead of celery and carrots. I then proceeded to ask how much is it for carrots and the worker raised my receipt and showed me that I ordered celery. I felt like he was trying to be funny and this annoyed me because I clearly understand my mistake but I didn't ask about the celery ... I asked how much were the carrots. Overall, I just feel like with four workers in there and just kind of standing in a huddle no one really tried to ensure that I had a good experience. I would not recommend this location and I will be filing a complaint. I spent too much money not to enjoy my food, 2/10. read more

This place has gone downhill. The reason i gave 1 star because of a customer service. The sauce is bland the wings look like it's under cook if you're craving for wings save your money and time please just go to Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

I made my order online. The guy at the counter must've not been paying attention to what I was saying but couldn't find my order while It was already made and waiting for me. I go to fill up my drink and half of them were just water or sold out with no signs. The fries were cold and sooooo greasy. Last time I came here the chicken was even cold. Would not recommend. read more

It took 30+ minutes to make 20 wings to go...... meanwhile at least 10 people went ahead of us since they ordered online, but still they should have a better system of ordering so people aren't waiting for so long. At least the guy at the register was nice read more

*This review is solely based on customer service and comfort of the establishment I'm a pretty frequent customer at Wing Stop in Desplaines and have never really had an issue in regards to the quality of their food. Although the Wing Stop in Desplaines is definitely the more expensive one compared to Elmwood Park, North Lake and Niles locations, their quality of food is pretty decent. I felt it necessary to comment on how the owner handled our visit the other night. We usually visit after dinner time and almost every single time we go all the chairs are put up (a very unwelcoming feel) and is almost ALWAYS very cold. I asked the owner if their heat was on/working and her reply was that 'heat has been off ALL day'. Mind you it was 40 degrees outside. When I asked if she'd turn it on because we'd like to eat comfortably and not freeze, she denied our request because 'it would take too long for heat to start up and they've been slow all day'. I wonder why. I don't care how amazing your food is. If you don't feel that it's of importance to accommodate your loyal customers so that they feel comfortable in your establishment, you should reconsider ownership. It was 10:15pm, they close at 12am. Would it really be that much of an inconvenience to make sure it's comfortable and not freezing in your establishment? And all of the chairs were already put up towards the back of the restaurant forcing customers to sit toward the front where the door was as if it wasn't cold enough already. I hate to write such a lengthy review on an establishment I once frequented but this is NOT the first time I went to this Wing Stop where it wasn't uncomfortably cold. Some owners should really take into account if situations such as the one I experienced are really worth losing loyal customers. Tip: If you don't like the cold, maybe try another Wing Stop. read more

Wings and fries are amazing! It's convenient because I live in Des plaines and they're opened late. If you're extra hungry or in a hurry order ahead! I like the teriyaki and honey BBQ sauces the best. They're seasoned fries are great. I'm making myself hungry! read more

Angelica store # 694 worst customer service she was having like a bad day or something... she was bitchy yelling at the customers making employees feel bad slamming food on the counter giving dirty looks. Walked out on her employees && customers that were in line like what the heck service is this !!!! Plus my wings were dry ! Never coming here again! read more

Solid wings for fast food. For either boneless or bone-in, there are several sauces/flavors to choose from. You can go with simple flavors like BBQ, as hot as the atomic sauce, or the dry rub, which is my go-to. There are various wing combos with fries and a drink. One combo includes 50+ wings so that's certainly an option for parties. Fries are tasty and you get a lot of them too. Dining space is somewhat small so it's not exactly the best place if you're going with a group of people. read more

My husband and I LOVE Wingstop, but we were extremely disappointed in them tonight. We ordered 50 wings on Saturday for our Super Bowl party, pick up at 4:30pm Sunday. My husband went to pick them up, and was welcomed by a huge line and was told the wings wouldn't be ready til 6pm.....after the game already started. So I went back at 6:10pm, and waited about 10 minutes to be helped. Asked for a discount as we were greatly inconvenienced and got a sassy response about how EVERYONE would have to get a discount then. YEAH. Everyone should have. So I get home, annoyed and they only got two thirds of our order right. We got 17 plain wings, which who orders plain wings??? And the other 33 were good but seriously. Ridiculous. I love wingstop but their poor planning messed up a whole lot of people's plans. read more

This is one of the few Wingstop locations I prefer coming to. Where I know they are always clean and professional when handling your food. The lady behind the counter seemed to be more of a manager. It was 3 guys trying to decide what to order. We hadn't had much to eat throughout the day and we just finished a very intense boot camp session. Even though we should've opted for something healthy, but our inner hearts wanted something to indulge. We where about to order the family pack which came with 50 wings and fries and bread. But she said they no longer had bread. That was fine either way. She then suggested to do the special times two. It's 25 wings for $15 it saved us about $25 just doing that. I believe she deserves a high five. Even made our fries to order they where the best fries I've had from Wingstop in years. I applaud this location for being on point from the beginning to end and even checking up on us while we ate. Everything tasted very good and as fresh as it get. read more

A little disorganized, but it's their first week, so that's understandable. Food takes a while to cook, then is extremely hot. Consider ordering ahead if you're in a hurry. I had a 6 Piece Boneless Wing Combo. It came with fries and a drink. I picked Garlic Parmesan and Teriyaki flavor. Both were not bad, but really salty. Garlic Parmesan was heavy on the Parm, not very garlicky. Teriyaki was pretty bold. Fries are seasoned well, but again, pretty salty. They offer a six choice fountain drink assortment, bottled root beer, and bottled water. read more

It was a good spot. Tasty wings, but drenched in the fryer oil. Will definitely give it another try at another location tho.

I thought this was an OK place. Service was really great. Woman at the register was really nice. Regular wings were cooked well. I enjoyed the cajun, didn't find it real spicy, wouldn't have minded them being a little more "saucy". Wings were pretty small. Not overly breaded though, which is good. The boneless wings were not very good. Maybe it was the atomic. I thought that since it was the only one hotter than cajun it would be not too bad, but they were too hot for me, but more than that, the flavor of the sauce wasn't good. Fries were good, but not as great as some on here have said. read more

I love this place! Great food fast and reasonably priced as well. I have never been disappointed with numerous visits to this place. I am admittedly easy to please but I'm picky about my food. I typically get carry out so the atmosphere is just in and out. It seems the dining area is Spartan, no trash can, but not at all uninviting. The staff are great too. Very personable but usually busy with orders and the phone. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. read more
