We stopped by for the first time last night and were a bit disappointed. We submitted our order online and picked it up. It wasn't ready yet so we waited a bit which wasn't a big deal, but the customer service (or lack thereof) was a complete joke. We ordered the Cajun and Louisiana rub, however we were given buffalo wings instead. I got sick one day from buffalo wings and have been unable to eat them since so my boyfriend, who isn't the biggest fan of spicy foods, had to choke them down and offered me his wings since we didn't feel like wasting more gas for a return trip. It was my first time there tonight & I had to approach the cashier because she was not helping me out. I proceeded to ask her if i could get my order & she asked me for my name so rudely & as i said before it's my first time there i didn't know where to get my drink from & i asked her & she huffed at me and rolled her eyes while handing me a cup.. i made it very clear that i was new. Not bad. I had lemon pepper, BBQ, and the Louisiana rub. The staff was courteous and it was pretty slow when I ordered. The only issues I had are related to hygiene. There was a worker with long had not covered or pulled back and she was chewing and drinking from a cup. Personally seeing food workers so "relaxed" is not comforting knowing that they have prepared my meal. Nonetheless food was great and no stray hairs were found. read more

Wingstop is my favorite wing place! I was so happy to see there was finally one in the Hampton Roads area after visiting the Sterling location numerous times. Sad to say, this location was quite disappointing. I went in to order carry-out for my family and I. I ordered the 30 wing family pack which came with large fries, veggie sticks, and sauce (ranch, bleu cheese, etc). The cashier told me the wait would be about 20 minutes ... I waited for 45 minutes until I got my food. When I got home and began unpacking the bag, I realized they forgot the ranch. It wasn't a big deal so I just blew it off. I then realized there was only 5 veggie sticks in the package?? Alas, the wings were not up to par. I ordered lemon pepper, Louisiana rub, and mild flavors for the wings. Louisiana rub is by far my favorite and but the dry rubs were BARELY coated on the wings so I didn't get to taste it much. The size of the wings were smaller than what I was used to in Sterling as well. I do recommend the regular seasoning on their fries! It has sugar which is different but so addicting! The restaurant itself was pretty big and has plenty of seating. Customer service was average, nothing special. I will give this location another shot and write another review in hopes of it being a more positive experience. I love Wingstop so this was really crummy to write. read more

I always order lemon pepper and mild wings bone in yet the mild wings are more oily than saucy. I ask for extra mild on the side so I can toss em again. The carrots are bendable and don't really taste like actual carrots. read more

order placed on wingstops website. found out order was delivered through door dash after i called. ordered 50pc wing pack. # 9345667287842821...tracked order via app tracker. order suddenly showed to be completed, but i never received my order. called door dash to find out what was going on. door dash tried to contact door dash driverlisted as jahmique l. message on drivers phone stated number no longer works. door dash tries to contact their driver and were unsuccessful. door dash connected me to wing stop customer service. spoke to gentleman and he stated he will submit report for me. i called the wingstop store and spoke with the manager named devontae. he said he would take my name and number and let the owner know what happened. in the mean time i am out of my money and have no product to show for it. no one can give me an estimated time frame as to when i will be receiving my refund. because i ordered through wingstop and paid them directly, door dash is saying wingstop has to refund my money back to me. this is so sad. this has to be the worst form of customer service i have seen. i will never order from this company again, and if i were you i wouldnt order from themeither. carry out maybe okay, online ordering absolutely not. i should not have to fight for my refund when door dash has verified that my order was not received and they cannot contact their driver to see what happened to my order. read more

Since my original review, this place turned around for the better. Online order is ready for pickup at the time indicated, food continues to impress with great tasting flavors, and customer service improved with more professional employees. Louisiana rub definitely has good spicyness to it and the quality of wings always has great crispiness and flavor. Inside the establishment is kept clean and very spacious with two tvs and nice decor. This place is my favorite wing place now and I probably won't go to BWW or Wild Wings anymore if this keeps up. Three stars because I've always had great, fresh wings I love most of their flavors but the customer service is terrible. I swear they hire bored high school/College kids that don't really care just need money ya know. The phone line is always busy and whenever I do get through, first thing you hear is "can I help you" no greeting no hello and they always mumbling like they just woke up. The wait takes like 15-25 minutes (which means 25) I hate how I can't order without paying first I don't feel comfortable giving my card info over the phone. I don't like the online option either, I just like to get my food, check it and then pay once everything is in order. Really sucks when you wanna call ahead and you have cash but can't that's an inconvenience. I hope they change something soon and please train the workers to at least look happy!!! read more

Best wings in the area by far. I always order out and they are quick and efficient. They tell me it is going to be ready in 10 or 15 minutes and they're always spot on. They're also open until midnight and everything is made fresh to order. The prices are great the customer service is great as well. I have never had issues with any of my orders or bad customer service. I am loyal wingstop customer since growing up in Los Angeles and I was very excited when I saw one in my area. Wingstop has the makings of a really good 'order at the counter' restaurant. Unfortunately, this particular location needs management that can get them on track. In a well-managed restaurant you expect the person who takes your order to understand more than a new customer, and to ensure the order is correct. Not so at this location on the day we visited. Ordering was confusing, and eventually the order was wrong. The 'combo meal' we ordered is supposed to come with "one large fry and one large side of your choice." We asked for baked beans as the second side. When confirming the order we were told, "OK, so that's the 50 Wing Combo and two large fries." "No," I corrected the cashier, "one large fry and one large side of baked beans." He mumbled something about the cash register being confusing, then took our payment. When we picked up the order, we had two large fries. When I brought this to the attention of the counter staff, they gave us a small baked beans inside a large cup. How odd is that? The good was actually really good. The wings were fresh. The sauces top notch. The french fries were really good, and we were able to get our own free soda refills. Unfortunately, the experience just gets worse and weird from there. There was no iced tea. There were no napkins, only a roll of bathroom paper towels for us to unroll. One of the staff in the kitchen started yelling (for all to hear) that "I need some music in here! Let's get some music going!" Then, when another customer went to the counter to mention that there were no cup lids or straws on the counter, this same staff member yelled at another person that they needed to get on the ball and get cup lids and straws out there! As a customer, I want problems handled promptly, but not with yelling between staff. Finally, there were no trash cans in the restaurant. Seriously? I asked the staff about this and they told me, "Just leave you trash on the table." This goes against everything I've ever learned about picking up after myself and what I try to teach my children. It's also a bad practice, in my opinion, for customers to just leave trash behind. Bottom line: the food was really good, but I would never return to this particular location. read more

This is my 2nd visit and they didn't disappoint! The wait is a little long, however, for freshly fried wings, I'll wait. My favorite is the Louisiana rub!! OMG!!! The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I think the only thing missing is a more seasoned wing. The sauces and rubs are to die for, but when you get to the bone the thrill is gone. As a professional cook myself, I would suggest a nice toss in salt and pepper before cooking, or a soak in a salt water brine. Otherwise, perfect!! read more

Lacks consistency, sometimes the wings are made the right way, other times the chicken may be slightly undercooked so i have to ask for it to be cooked well done to get it right, long waits, & unorganized. I ask for blue cheese with my wings and 75% of the time they give me ranch. I waited 40 mins tonight and there was only one other order who came in after me. With their chicken costing more than the majority of others you would expect to get better service, but no. i literally had the worst customer service experience with a restaurant today at Wingstop. me and my husband decided we would go out to eat for a quick bite at one of our favorite places WingStop because he has to get up at 4am for work and we didn't have time to cook and eat. We get to wingstop at 7:10pm. decide what we want and place our order at 7:24pm. We ordered the 20 wings with free flavors; mild, louisiana rub, and Hawaiian. the cashier let's us know it will be about a 20 minute wait. "No problem " i replied. we sit down and read a mini newspaper they hadthere and played all the games and comics. next thing we know it's 7:50pm. my husband is getting impatient and we are both super hungry. i tell him hey i've worked at a restaurant before give them a few more minutes. 8:10pm rolls around... still no food. my husband says "what the heck, i saw that guy come in and order while we've been waiting and he just left with his food?!" so i go to the cashier with my receipt and say very politely "hey, i'm just checking on our food, we've been waiting for 50 minutes." the cashier was very nice and apologized. she asked the cook about the food and the cook replied "i never got that" and continued talking to her other coworkers. so i shout "well can you make it?" and the cashier says "yes just give us a couple minutes." i ask "well by the time we get our food, we will have been here for one hour, then we still have to eat. is there anyway we can get a discount or partial refund on our food?" so she goes to talk to the manager, comes back and says that all he could do is 5% WHICH DOESNT EVEN COVER THE TAX. by this point, i'm frustrated and totally over this. "can i speak with the manager please?" again, the cashier was super sweet, said yes ma'am and no ma'am and was the only one that apologized during this whole thing. so the manager comes up and is just standing there looking at me. i ask if i can get a partial refund or discount. he says all he can do is 5%. i'm reply "no that's not enough, that doesn't even cover the tax. can i just get my entire order refunded?" he says to me "well the check is already closed so there's absolutely no way for me to refund your money, so you will either have to take 5% today, 20% on your next visit, or just take the food without a discount when it's ready" by this point, i am absolutely livid. "so you're telling me if i want to cancel my order and walk out that door empty handed without any food, you cannot give me my money back?" he replied "yes ma'am, that's correct. i can't alter the check because it's already closed, but i have your receipt number and your name written down in my office, so when you come back next time i will make sure you get that 20%". i feel like i'm fighting a losing battle so i just take my food and the 20%. but i mean seriously, this isn't even legal??? you can't withhold someone's money from them that they paid for a service that they never received??? so i called corporate and filed a complaint. the manager in corporate that i spoke with is mailing me a $15 giftcard. there was a lady that was standing behind me while i was at the front complaining to the manager. as i was walking out of wingstop, she stopped me and said "were you able to get anything rectified with corporate, because i saw how careless the manager here was to you. i'm so sorry that happened. i'm going. to filing a complaint on them as well. i had to wait 10 minutes to even be awknowledged and order my food. all this staff is doing is horse-playing, while the manager sits back in his office letting them do whatever they want." i just really appreciated this lady for stepping up for me and supporting me. it's a shame that only her and the cashier made me feel reasonable during this experience. after i use my $15 giftcard and 20%, i will NEVER eat at another wingstop ever again. this is a pisspoor way to handle a situation, and i'm honestly disgusted. it ruined our date night, and i couldn't even eat because i was so upset and shaking like it was 20 degrees. i wanted to make this public as a warning to people to not eat here. i'm still debating on whether to sue them or not for saying they were going to withhold my money even if i walked out without any food... we will see. read more

I called Wing Stop Greenbrier Thursday 1/5 to place an order. After asking Ed (store employee) a question I attempted to place my order but I was rudely interrupted by Ed saying "you do realize that someone's in front of you right?" I responded with, "who are you taking to? " being that I was not in the store and I could not possibly realize anything happening inside the store. He responded with "YOU, you do realize I have a customer in front of you and I need to take their order. I was taken aback by his response, tone and customer service. I asked for his name, the managers name, the owners name and the general managers name. He stated he was the manager, and proceeded to give me the other names. He then asked if there was a problem, as if he was unaware of how rude he was and/or how he had displayed a serious deficit in the customer service department. After giving him a lesson in customer service 101, he apologized for the inconvenience and proceed to attempt to repeat to me again what he stated. I, however, interrupted him and let him know that there was not an inconvenience, it was bascily rudeness being displayed in its rarest form. I informed him that I would be contacting the general manager and owner in the morning. Please do not patronize this business unless you are ok with rude and unpleasant employees!!! read more
