Big shoutout to Stormyblue on IG, I was scrolling through social media and found a video from her. It looked amazing so I had to give it a try. When you first walk into the door you are greeted by this lovely Korean lady. What I liked about this place is that they will let you sample the different flavors they have for the wings. I got the combo B set, 4 PC tenders, fries, dumplings, coleslaw and a can soda all for $15. Everything came out fresh and hot, the tenders were juicy and crispy.

Wings tossed with Yang Yum sauce, amazing!

Tried this new fried chicken spot in Chesapeake. I recommend dropping by, great friendly service and the wings tossed in Yang Yum sauce are amazing! Food: Was not speedy (14 minutes from order to receipt) when I went but it seems like they were making my chicken to order so that was nice. I think they might need to tighten that down. Next time, I might order ahead. I got the 4 piece Wings and the B set combo (4 piece chicken tenders, fries, dumplings, coleslaw and a soda). 4 piece Wings: Amazing! I got the wings tossed in Yang Yum sauce and they were lit!! Sooo good! B set combo: I got the tenders plain with the Soy sauce on the side and they didn't even have salt on them. Not good at all! They might be good if they are tossed with a sauce but I think the "Soy" signature sauce is weak. Don't recommend it at all. Also the chicken tenders were not made like Korean fried chicken - I kind of expected them to be since this place is korean inspired. The fries, dumplings, and coleslaw were good though. Inside: Cute minimal decor with 2 TVs playing K-pop and 3 tables with seating for 4 at each table.

    A little too expensive

This is a new Korean chicken spot in a much needed area of GeorgeTown in Chesapeake. A review of this place came up on my social media, so the next day I made sure this was going to be my lunch. The guy helping me out is super nice. I had 3 wings order (4 pc per order) to equal 12 total wings. They do have a 12 piece order BUT you can't mix and match the sauce. It's just 1 sauce per order. So for me to have more than 1 sauce, I had to order accordingly: * Order 1 - Fried wings (no sauce). It was crunchy but had no flavor not even salt. * Order 2 - Soy. Lacked any flavor. A little sweet but not sure what flavor profile it's supposed to have. * Order 3 - Yam-Yum sauce. Their signature sauce. It was sweet but again, not sure what flavor profile this supposed to have either but it's lacking whatever it is. I mean all the flavors I had today just didn't hit it for me. The sauces were weak. I am going to try other wing sauces to see if it's better. They do offer seafood, gizzards, sandwiches and boba tea. The French fries were good. It reminds me of Rally's French fries. Hopefully, if you're in the area you will check them out!

It was soo cute in there, small but welcoming with kpop videos to watch. The menu was large but not intimidating and they let me try samples of all the sauces for my chicken which was delicious and helped make decision making soo much easier. I had the soy wings with a mango fruit tea w/ strawberry fruit pearls. It was soo delicious, the wings were crispy, good size and decent price. The tea was sweet and refreshing. Will def go back

Finally, my husband and I been looking for a good fried chicken spot in Chesapeake / and we've finally found it. Fried chicken is amazing, the inside is so clean and the lady that took our order was so nice over the phone and in person. I can't wait to go back try other items on the menu

    combo b with spicy tenders

Chicken is crispy and good flavor in the spicy sauce. Enjoyed the assortment of sides and the good value provided by the combo. Staff was kind and pleasant.

Excellent chicken but that American fried rice was terrible. Thank goodness the chicken made up for that rice.

Came here with a friend of mine who absolutely loves hot pot. I had actually never had it before,…read moreso I had zero idea what I was in for. But honestly, it turned out to be such a fun and tasty experience! For anyone who hasn't tried it: hot pot is basically a big simmering pot of soup right at your table where you cook all your own food. You pick all your ingredients from soup, veggies, meats, noodles, mushrooms, whatever you want and drop them into the hot broth to cook. It's super customizable and kind of like a mix between soup and DIY cooking right at the table, which is actually a blast once you get the hang of it. We both went with a hot, spicy soup base which was perfect for warming up on a cold day. I threw in broccoli, mushrooms, ribeye, and noodles. The best part is watching everything cook right in front of you and then pulling it out when it's just right. The broth soaks up all those flavors and gets even richer as you go. The flavors were amazing! Really bold and satisfying. The spicy broth was exactly what I needed, and everything we added came out perfectly cooked and delicious. It was warm and cozy, which made the whole thing even better since it felt like the ultimate cold weather meal. I look forward to retuning and trying something completely different!

Clearing the table of our empty plates could have been more attentive, although it improved about halfway through the meal. The sauce bar was clearly labeled with dozens of options. There are many different broths available, plenty of proteins, though I would have preferred leaner cuts of beef. Don't miss the included cold appetizer options and deserts. I thought that someone had spilled fish sauce in the men's room but I found that the issue was that the urinal didn't flush. I'll pass on the fish sauce next visit!

You have claw machines, a British telephone booth, a bear brick painting painted like Iron man next to a neon "good vibes" sign and a large comfy sofa in the front in case you want to take a nap after eating their delicious chicken. Placing all judgment aside based purely on the aesthetic environment, this place makes some slamming soy garlic chicken and some tasty fries! That's all you need to know. Service was pleasant and the one gentleman seemed to be hustling bringing out people's food to their tables or calling out their numbers. The lady at the register kept the line moving. It wasn't busy when we initially ordered, but then there was an influx of customers out of nowhere! Initially I thought the price was kind of steep for 6 pieces of chicken but then I saw the size and they are huge! I added a side of fries and a drink and it came to a total of $17 and some change. If you dine in there are free refills. One of my friends came back to our table with a mini cup of ice cream. Apparently they have a freezer of ice cream and popsicles that are complimentary! So that was a nice added touch! They offer military discounts! Just show your ID! I asked. Not too soon after, I heard a gentleman that had purchased food prior to me comment out loud that he wish he knew that earlier. I just always try to ask wherever I go, the worst they can say is no. ‍ I don't go to Chesapeake often, but if i'm ever out this way, I would definitely stop by again. The entrance is a bit confusing when driving up. While it faces the main street of Battlefield Blvd you have to turn at the traffic light and go behind another building that's adjacent to it, just make sure you don't overshoot and miss the turn. This place seemed to have a lot of not so great reviews or were a mixed bag, but I figured it was at the point of I'm just going to figure this out myself and experience it. I'm glad I did.

I will say that I have been to multiple locations, this one was the lowest in quality. The Buffett bar wasn't labeled correctly in the sauces area, and the hot items available were not good. Fries??? My coworker nd I were just talking about how good the chicken is usually at kpot but not this location. Service was horrible, the server was trying to be friendly which is great, but there was like 3 people in the place, and I am sure that the other person eating was a worker on their break. So it shouldn't have taken very long to get drinks and to service us, I ended up having to get everything myself, all utensils, soup ladles, extra plates. There was only 3 people in the building eating there should be no reason for us not to be checked on, or sodas refilled. The server that brought our food out, practically threw the food on the table, we were trying to make space for everything and he was holding a bowl of rice and I guess we took to long and he pretty much slammed it on the table and walked away, and we told the server this and he said that he was made about something, which is not an excuse for this to have happened! Fried rice was horrible! White rice seemed to have been served awhile ago and it was hard on top. Everyone in the building wasn't paying attention to anything, I waited for 10 mins to my bill checked out at my table, I went to the restroom which is another story! And my bill and card still hadn't been picked up from the table, I told my friend let's go and walked to the front thinking someone would finally come but no, they didn't I stood there looking for someone, could've walked right out and they wouldn't have noticed us gone. But I am not that kind of person, and I stood there waiting for my bill to be rung up. Bathroom had no soap! How are employees washing their hands! All the utensils pilled up, 90% of them looked like they needed to be rewashed, and there was a mildew smell coming from that area, take it all down and clean it! I love KPOT, and haven't had an experience like this at any other location, I hope this helps this location take a look at the details!

We were a party of 7 and to sit comfortably they sat us at 2 different tables not knowing they were booths behind one another. Not sure why they couldn't sit us at the big tables on the other side of the restaurant where the tables were next to eachother and not booths. I didn't even know they had these tables until it was too late and we were getting our food from the buffet already. We came from out of town to visit family so we didn't get to talk much since our tables were separated. As for the hot pot the soup bases were a bit salty. We got the Szechuan Spicy and the Japanese Miso. The portions were small when ordering the dishes so we had to order multiple times. Sauce bar was plenty and cooked appetizers were good. Dessert section my kids were of course happy about since they love Melona bars. Getting our waitress to refill our waters took a long time, I had to go and look for her to get it. In NYC normally when our soup base is running low they offer to refill it but this place didn't. Not sure if it's a VA thing but getting our waitress was a pain to get a hold of so we didn't even bother asking for a refill.

Last time I came it, it was empty. This time me and my mom came hefe on a Saturday night, the restaurant was not full but it was busy! We had to wait for about 30 minutes since we wanted to do bbq (where the grill is installed on the table, and not all tables look like that), but there's no wait if you're not doing bbq. The staff were quick and nice. There are bells next to our table and we can use that bell to ask for service, what a great idea! We ordered Korean pancake with seafood, spicy tofu soup with beef(comes with rice), Galbi (bbq short ribs)(comes with rice), and a grape flavored soju. Just like other Korean restaurants, we were provided with unlimited banchans and salad, and they were all fresh and delicious. The Korean pancake is HUGE. It's also not too much breading but full of leeks and onion, and it was thin and crispy. The Spicy Tofu Soup with beef tasted decent, but I'd like more beef in it. The Galbi was good portion (2 long pieces, 1 small pieces and 2 bones with some meat on) and the marinade tasted good, but I still think $44 is a tad high. The only star was taken off is really the price for the bbq meat. I can see premium protein could be charged higher, but pork, chicken and flat iron steak are some cheaper cut that I personally think is a bit high. I might come back during lunch time to take advantage of their lunch menu tho!
