I have not visited this location in forever. I lived in the area over 10 years ago and I remember this being my go to Chinese to go restaurant. Well last night, they did not disappoint. I brought food for the family and everyone enjoyed their meal. Order to go: Pepper Steak combo (pork fried rice and egg roll) Shrimp egg foo yung Fried chicken wings and fries Broccoli and garlic sauce I ordered the food and it seems it was ready in less than the staple 15 minutes. It was piping hot even when I got home. It's about a 23 minute ride from the spot to home and it was still hot and ready! I highly recommend you try this place if you are in the area. I plan on stopping by even more now. Plenty of parking as this is located in a busy shopping area in the Deep Creek area. First time ordering from here. It's the typical Chinese food joint. We got the bourbon chicken combo, general tso combo and the chicken wings. Bourbon chicken was good but had a ton of vegetables which I wasn't expecting. Normally when I order it from other places it just has onions or green onions. But the vegetables didn't bother me. General Tso chicken was good as well with a decent portion of chicken. The wings were good also. They had a very good crunchy coating and were seasoned nicely. The one thing I did appreciate considering the area that it's located was that it was in a decent shopping center where I didn't feel like I needed to carry in order to walk 20 steps inside a store. I had a bigger than usual order because family is town, so I got to try some new meals! We ordered the Szechuan beef, chicken and broccoli, and General Tsos chicken. For appetizers, steamed dumplings and egg rolls. Service was good, it was a family affair today, all hands on deck, and the 2 kids of the owner took our order. The food was delicious and came out hot and ready to eat! Never tried the Szechuan it wasn't too spicy. I liked the sauce in the chicken and broccoli. What I love about this place is they are still generous with sauces, napkins, and utensils! Thank you! Place is definitely a take out vibe, it's clean, it was busy today but plenty of parking. By far the best crab Rangoon I have had in a long time. Thin, crispy, and full of filling. We ordered the food as take out and it came hot and fresh. I was highly impressed with the food. I don't really assume delivered food will be that good as most of the time it sits in containers for a while before it gets to you. I had the sesame chicken and my husband the orange chicken. Both was cooked very well. The chicken was very sauces and crispy! We also got the friend rice and it was really good as well. The food we got from here was still good even for delivered!! Their customer service is terrible I placed my order at 7:20 PM tonight. I then got immediately into traffic so I called again at 7:31 PM and asked him to hold my order for half an hour once I got there at 8:15 it was obvious that they had not I refused to accept the order and asked for it to be redone The lady at the counter was very rude and said no I told her I had called twice and could prove it. They did finally redo my order and the gentleman handed it to me. My issue with ordering Chinese is that dishes vary from restaurant to restaurant. NOT HERE -- I got exactly what I expected when I ordered Fried Wontons, Steamed Dumplings, and Orange Chicken. Everything was hot. Everything was delicious. They even put orange peels in with the chicken (someone's going to think I'm weird for this but orange peels are tasty)! Love this place! We eat here fairly often and haven't had any problems. The food is always hot and fresh! The lumpia has a little too much pepper, not really a fan. The pancit, chicken teriyaki, lo mein, egg drop soup, wonton soup, honey chicken wings, Mongolian Beef, fried rice, bourbon chicken, general tsos, etc are all things we have tried over the years. Our most recent visit we got the following: Honey chicken wings - which were amazing! They kind of remind me of the sesame chicken sauce. Pork Fried Rice - we get ours with extra pork (which is like a dollar/2 more, I can't remember) Pork lo mein - my husband's favorite. Mongolian Beef - my first time getting this, and won't be my last! It's amazing!! It comes with white rice and I asked for extra sauce. It has onions, green onions, carrots, and beef. This place will hit the east coast American Chinese food spot every time. They are not expensive but small requests like separating items may come with a small fee. I am currently addicted to the "red meat" it's fresh and flavorful unlike what I have had at other places in and around Chesapeake. The egg rolls and spring rolls are delicious and there are so many standard Chinese style dishes (see what I did there) to choose from. A must try here is the bourbon chicken and the shrimp with lobster sauce although I was left wondering if a few of the shrimp swam away in the sauce... it was delicious and quite filling. This is by far the best Chinese food place I've ever been to. I stopped in on a whim and man am I glad I did! First off, the restaurant is incredibly clean. The staff is friendly, as are the other people waiting for their orders. After I ordered, I sat down and expected to wait the standard 10-15 minutes for my order... It was not even 5 minutes and I was back out the door. I ordered the sesame chicken combination and it is absolutely fantastic! Their service has been awesome from day one, and I have been a loyal customer for years. Usually I either get the Sesame Chicken combo plate (which is ALWAYS a winner), other times the Singapore Pancit (only for those with strong stomachs!)... but tonight, I tried the Hunan Chicken while my husband tried the Bourbon Chicken. The best Chinese joint ever.... the chicken wings are so fresh and delicious down to the bone and gristle.... I'm moving from the area and I'm totally gonna miss this place.
