We got fried chicken, fried wontons, chicken teriyaki on a stick and egg rolls. The first word out of each if our mouths on a first bite was "oh my god, taste this". I had their food before but I never bought it myself I forgot what I had before so I finally made it to the store itself and inside is your typical Chinese takeout restaurant with one table. I see a 4 customers when I walked in and than before I walked in two people coming out. Its full of stuff on another table like inventory or something like that. The service was fast and efficient and friendly. I ordered and no more than 5 minutes it was done and packed. At other Chinese takeout's say 20 minute or 15 mins, 5 minutes tops on this one. I don't eat Chinese food takeout very often. I'm a health nut and there is too much sodium but I was craving it after a half marathon and looking to see what is nearby. I placed a fast and easy phone order with this spot with someone who spoke very clear English. Order was quoted as ready for pickup in about 20 minutes and it was ready when I arrived about 18 minutes later. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was an insane amount of food. The portions are very large and prices are more than fair. They have a large menu to choose from with all the items you'd expect, like General Tso's Chicken, Sweet and Spicy Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, etc. No complaints here - easy and right. So disappointed. We have ordered from them many times before and it was always good. This was the worst food I've had in a very long time. There was no sauce on the dried out spare ribs, the egg roll was soggy, the dumplings were thicker and so chewy it was hard to even get the 2 down. The garlic sauce was like a thick terriaki. I hate "fast-food" Chinese food. It all tastes pretty much the same regardless of the dish. The meat is all poor quality, as far as my experience is concerned. However, since we really don't have any nice Chinese restaurants near us, sometimes I get desperate and try one of the plethora of "fast-food" style Chinese restaurants in our area. One night my brother brought home some "fast-food" Chinese and it wasn't too shabby. I asked him where he got it and it told me China Sun on Seaboard Rd. Before I returned home to my hungry family, I swung by and picked up some General Tsao Chicken, Garlic Chicken Stir Fry, Lo Mein, and Pork Fried Rice. The family enjoyed it and had it for lunch the next day, as well. The family that works there is very friendly and accommodating. The meals are prepared in 10 minutes! My family and I enjoy take out from this location. It is very tasty American-style Chinese food. The steamed dumplings are always good as are the pork egg rolls. General Tso is something we always get and the egg foo yung is very nice too. Staff are very friendly and I've never had to wait too long. For myself and my family, this is easily the best Chinese Restaurant in our area. The family that runs the place and especially the young lady that always works the register are always pleasant. Our order always consists of a couple items, a pu pu platter, fried rice, sesame chicken, and lo mien. There is no msg in the food, it is always fresh and has that general Chinese food goodness vibe. We have tried other places that are slightly closer to our abode. Frankly they just don't hit the same quality that this place does. Locally owned, a daughter who helps the family by being the face of the place on the register and great food. It all adds up to five stars. Such a disappointment. The beef fried rice was just yellow with nothing else. No egg...nothing. The egg drop soup was bright yellow with barely any flavor. The dumplings were thick as can be and dry. Please BEWARE of using a credit or debit card at this restaurant.! I was charged four times for one order. it seemed very fishy as I heard the cashier swiping my card. When I looked at my bank App in real time, there were four identical charges. When I confronted the owner, she pretended not to understand my English.
