i go almost a 2 times a week Atomic Wings. I like there wins, Chicken Sandwich and Garlic Parm Flatbread.

This is my first time here and I had the time to come to it so I did I ordered on the app and i think the pick up was not asap but more like 40 minutes so that was fine. I went to get other things while I took my time. I ordered chicken sandwich it was crispy and inside I was greeted asked if It was my first time here. Yes and ask if i wanted to get a drink because I also was looking at the drink fridge but i declined. The inside is spacious and clean. Customer service was friendly everything I ordered was in the boxes with sauces on the side like I ordered i ordered boneless wings with garlic parmesan. The food was hot still when I got home the boneless wings were flavorful and the sauce was good but salty. I will come back next time to try other of their items. First time visiting yesterday afternoon. I was not impressed from the moment I stepped in the door. When ordering there was a major language barrier. I couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand me. I asked for waffle fries with my meal, I got the hot chicken sandwich. I asked if it came with any sauce on it and he said coleslaw and pickles. I asked no pickles. My meal was aprox $12. When I got home and opened my food I had regular fries not waffle fries like I asked. My sandwich not only had coleslaw AND pickles but there was this orange tinted sauce on it. I was pissed. So I got five wings, a small drink and some fries. To be honest, the fries were the best! I got My usual dash garlic parmesan wings. The sauce was okay. Wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. I do like how they did fry them extra crispy. But the wings themselves had a bit of an off smell? I can't explain it. The fries were hands down the best. Nice little shop inside. I like how you can pour as much so it as you want. Clean bathrooms. Good place for friends and families. I don't think I would seek it out again but it wasn't the worst either. Many wings for cheap, but still decent sized and tasty. The teriyaki are the best imo. However, one cashier handed me blue cheese, which I'm allergic to, instead of ranch. Only complaint. Most people carry out, so there's plenty of seating. read more

Let me just say... we came in to try this place after receiving an offer in the mail on their new location here in VA Beach. We were blessed to meet the owner, Dave. As soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted with a huge smile and asked if we have been there before. We responded no, first time and man did he go through literally EVERYTHING with us. Such time, effort and care in walking us through everything. Customer service is above and beyond! The Ambiance here was extremely bright and inviting. The cleanliness was top tier, from the tables, the counters and the bathroom. Everything was spotless. Comfortable for someone with OCD for restaurants. We ended up ordering (1) Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich combo with waffle fries and a drink, (1) Korean Chicken Sandwich and (10) Bone In Wings (1/2 Mango Habanero and 1/2 Plain w/ a variety of dipping sauces (Aoli similar and better than a Chick-fil-A sauce, Korean, ranch, atomic and a personal recommended a mix of garlic Parmesan and nuclear which was so good!) by the way, the sauces taste authentic in flavor and NOT artificial which can be so off-putting. The chicken sandwiches were out of this world. Outside was crispy, airy and crunchy... rich in flavor and seasoned (not bland)... the inside was juicy and NOT dry. The bun was soft with subtle sweet notes. The coleslaw is made in house and super rich and fresh. The wings were just as crunchy and flavorful. Dave, the owner, informed us on their process of making them which stood apart from the masses of other wing places around. Steamed, fried, tossed. They also offer grilled wings here as well, will definitely be trying these also! Absolutely incredible experience with Dave's incredible customer service, and the time he put into us as customers and the quality was a world apart from other wing / chicken sandwich places around. This is OUR new place to go and will be recommended it where ever we go. I cannot wait to come back and try the multitudes of food choices they have. The Good: Presentation. Seeing the platter brought out to me actually made me really anticipate eating the wings. Wing sauce. Flavor was spot on. I got Buffalo hot and it was the perfect Buffalo wing flavor with just the right amount of a little bit of heat. Service. Everyone was friendly and gave me really good service. The Not as Good: Crispness. The wings were 75% there. They almost made it. But they lacked crispness. That was my only criticism of the wings and the only thing that might prevent me from being a regular. Next time I'll ask if they can make them well done. Fries. Coated waffle fries. Princess One Shopping Center with two new establishments! Atomic Wings has just opened up in this shopping center. My first impression of this place is that I love the color blue and orange reminds me of Boise State who just lost to Penn State sadly. I ordered the number two 5pc wings meal with the Thai chili sauce, it comes with fries and a drink. For just $12 including tax what more can you ask for! The wings and fries came out fresh and hot. Even after a 10min ride back to the office they didn't get cold. The cashier was helpful and patient with me I couldn't decide on what I wanted to get. Other than that my only complaint is that the paper menu doesn't display the price of the food like the ones on the monitor. Note for those who aren't used to spicy food be careful the Thai chili was spicy for my coworker who doesn't eat any spicy food at all. read more

I tried it once before when they first opened and it was great since then my honest opinion they kinda lost touch. I will say the chicken sandwich I had was great nice quality size, lemon pepper wings were great. But the real question is why are you charging for extra dipping sauces especially when I didn't get one to begin with. They over charged me for the veggies that I ordered as well! I have ordered from here several times and have tried the sandwiches, the traditional wings, and the boneless wings. All the food has been delicious. The phone app isn't as good as using the website and I have used both. The folks there are nice and helpful. The owner called me on one of the orders to clarify how I wanted the counts done per sauce...which I thought was awesome. When I pick up my food, the employees are friendly and attentive. My only issue is that I get emails from Atomic Wings with empty codes. This is more on the franchiser than this location, but it is disappointing. read more

It was genuinely slow service. The food was mediocre, and it was Chick-fil-A level, but it was unbelievable for a 30+ minute wait! All... wait for it... to get HAIR IN MY SANDWICH! Like, that's not a $36 meal purchase. That's dang near something to expect at McDonald's or Zaxby's, but here?! I wish I had demanded a refund. You guys need to and can do better! Pretty good however, if you don't want to wait more than 30 minutes for your food, do not come here. The first time we went we sat inside and the food took about 20 minutes and we just ordered for online pick up and the food took more than 35 minutes and about 20 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. I'll start this by saying.. If you're pregnant and craving wings, skip this place.. I was going to go to wing stop, but their reviews were terrible. I usually do dirty buffalo and while their flavor is great, it often doesn't sit well with my stomach. Saw Atomic Wings and the reviews were promising so decided to give it a shot. We picked it up as a to go order, so maybe that is part of the issue, but once the food was in my car it immediately smelled like it was cooked in old oil, so I was already turned off. I opted for mild buffalo and it looked like they weren't even sauced at all. Taste was that of... you guessed it, old cooking oil. I also ordered them extra crispy, they were soggy. The blue cheese had zero flavor and was very watery. The fried pickles were also soggy (okay, I could blame that on take out and not fresh out of the kitchen) but they didn't even come with the aioli sauce that it was supposed to come with. Instead, ketchup? Super bummed because the reviews seemed to be so good! Its just a better and more expenisve wingstop. The food is great, don't get me wrong, wings were hot and waffle frys were much better than I expected but the wingstop on VB bulivard is compairable albeit cheaper and much slower. The food takes forever, keep that in mind, but is worth the price. If your craving wings and waffle frys go here. The resturaunt is clean and bathrooms were nice if that maters to you. Atomic Wings has incredible food. HOWEVER, their management's customer service is REAL GARBAGE! My wife and I have spent a good amount of money here in a very short amount of time, and our experience has been decent. But, when our meals get messed up, management is rude, and they are not looking to serve you. My personal conversation over the phone with management was met with unwillingness to admit any fault, or suggest any righteous action. So, you can go there if YOU want to...but, my hard earned money is better appreciated elsewhere. Great food, horrible customer service (no dis to the cashiers). read more

I'm not the biggest coleslaw fan, but whatever they make theirs with is AMAZING. I had their chicken sandwich and my husband had their wings.
