I should've listened to the poor reviews because this location was a complete waste of my time. I made an order online and it said it'd be ready by 2:30pm. I come in at 2:35 and there were 3 workers at the registers but no one acknowledged me. One made awkward eye contact and after 5 minutes decided to finally help me. I told him I placed an online order and he had a hard time finding it. I showed him the confirmation and he still couldn't find it so he asked a coworker to help him. They still couldn't find my order even though I had the email confirmation. I even told them I was okay with placing another order but they weren't really helping me out. The place was clean and staff busy, kitchen was fully staffed and everyone was working very hard as the orders were piling up. The wings were good a little light on the spice. They were good about letting people know the wait time and I would definitely recommend downloading the app ordering online. My wait exceeded the expectation. The only thing I found a little bit odd was that no one at the till makes eye contact until several sentences into the transactions. So I placed an order on line. Unaware that I would not have the choice to pick bone in over boneless I thought easy enough, I can call the restaurant. Not easy enough, I was told to cancel the order and to place another, according to their Manager, he does not have the ability to just change the order and charge me the extra. Ok so I go in and I tried to cancel the order and negative, I have to create a profile and so forth. There is more hassle going through all those steps so Im happy to swing by and pick up my order. It is wild to me that they do not take a standard form of payment and did not notify us until we had tried a third card, at which point the cashier Destiny stated that they only accept Mastercard with Apple pay. She was incredibly rude about this and before even beginning the transaction we tried to ask a question and were interrupted by her demanding a name for the order. There's something amiss between the online delivery apps and the status that it shows in the app, i was getting frustrated (thought of giving them a second chance, cause why not?!) and i end up calling only to be put on hold for 15-30 min, since the person who answered my call went to a manager to get an answer! The manager comes in, he says "your order is ready to be picked up". Only to be sure i see the app and it says "still making the order", i blame this on the app. Next, it shows a driver is actually found and now the status says "wrapping up" really confusing To be honest i truly believe the staff that is hired is not doing a good job or they are really understaffed. I really hesitate before making a negative post. I know Covid has made things challenging for businesses but I don't think this is a pandemic problem. I ordered both boneless and bone-in wings. I received exclusively boneless wings. I live 5 minutes away but by the time I drove home all of the food was cold which means it sat somewhere. Either in the window to be picked up or before it was bagged. The exclusively boneless wings were far worse than the terrible ones that you can buy from Tyson at the grocery store. The little sauce there was seemed baked into the thick mushy breading instead of tossed on. The blue cheese dressing was anemic. We received 3 carrot sticks and 4 pieces of celery with our order of 35 wings which was the same number of towelettes they threw in. For $39.45 I expect better than this and I don't think that is unreasonable. I will not be returning to this business which is why I did not ask them to fix it. My years working in food service tell me this is not a problem that is going to be fixable. If you are looking for tasty wings I don't think you are going to find them here. read more

At the Wingstop, Canyon location, on April 12th, I ordered a large chicken thigh bites which were really a regular size compared to the difference in portion. I do not feel that I got my money's worth. Yesterday, April 22nd, about 5 pm or earlier, a phone order for a regular fry and three of the Cajun corns that come 10 to a box was placed. Upon pickup, one of your young female Caucasian employees took it upon herself to box up 15 corns to each box instead of the 10. So, instead of having 3 boxes, I had 2. She assumed it's all going to the same place which shouldn't of been her concern if she had of done her job per how Wingstop advertised the menu, 10 corns to a box. I asked for a refund of about $18 which was denied claiming the order was prepared properly which it clearly wasnt. The tall, black darker skinned young man who might of been a supervisory figure, if not he should be but took over and accommodated me with great service. He actually made me an additional order so that he provided me a satisfactory customer experience. Kudos to him for stepping in to make the outcome better. I think your other employee mentioned in this rating should be happy about being in the service industry or find another job she can be happy doing because working with the public is not her strong suit. read more

The horrible and atrocious customer service. I have gotten my order wrong here so many times I have lost count. Usually, its the wrong sauce, or missing fries, or even some missing wings. But last night was the final straw. I had made 2 orders for their 10 piece combo which includes a drink and fries. As I came to pick up my order, I opened the bag to check that my order was all there. I looked and saw what looked like 2 orders of fries sitting on top, and was given two cups to get my drinks, leaving me to assume that I got my complete order. Well, after driving home 20 minutes, lo and behold, I got only one wing order. Crap! I call up the manager and explain the situation and ask her if they can just get a delivery out to me. She told me that they would not do that and the only way to get my food is to come back out and pick it up. No way, I am not going to drive another 40 minutes because YOU GUYS DIDN'T GIVE ME MY COMPLETE ORDER. The only thing the manager offered was a partial refund of the missing order and 15% off. 15% OFF! Ha, give me a break! The correct thing to do in this situation would have been to get me my food, whether it be calling Door Dash or Uber Eats or however is easiest, but nope just a sorry and 15% off. Not even a free order for my inconveniences. I do not think it was an unreasonable request. Now, I normally do not ever, write reviews, but this place has really gotten to me and has compelled me to write this review. Now that says something. As of this writing, I am still waiting on my refund, which if I do not get, I will be issuing a charge back. Oh, and forget about us ever coming back to this place. Its one thing if it was a one time mistake, no big deal, but its the systematic and unorganized, unapologetic mess of an operation that plagues this place. I eat here all the time and love the food - especially the parm fries. But about 3/4 of the time I order they get it wrong. My coworkers were ordering with me but they stopped and usually say "I'd rather go somewhere where I know what I'm getting." I called them. The employee who answered said "yeah. I cannot believe I'm giving wingstop a 1 Star. Growing up in SoCal, wingstop was one of my go-to places. The wings are amazing, plump, and flavorful. My favorite flavors are original hot, cajun, garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper. The fries are so good and addicting because they're savory and sweet! I gave this location a 1 Star due to customer service. As a loyal customer, the manager was unwilling to rectify an issue but to only offer 15% off my next order and to refund part of my order. I ordered ahead of time online on 6/9/2020 at 6pm and picked up my order 1 hour later. I checked the bag and everything seemed fine at first glance but when I got home I only had one box of wings when I had ordered two orders of wings. Why did I have two set of fries on top of one box of just 10 wings when I had ordered 20 wings? That doesn't make sense. The manager wanted me to drive another 15 minutes to pickup the rest of my order. I tried to see if they could deliver but said they don't deliver and only through DoorDash. What she should have done was refund my whole order because this isn't the first time they've made a mistake. I've had wrong flavors and missing fries in previous orders. Or at least delivered the remainder of my wings especially if people drive about 15-20 mins to get there. Worst customer service and location in the history of Wingstops. I've been to the other locations and they're just fine. Why is the closest location so terrible? The wings were very flabby, chewy, and flavorless. Undercooked and the flavors were such a let down. The lemon pepper wings tasted like they were simply doused in artificial lemon candy flavoring and nothing else. Garlic Parmesan just tasted of a light dusting of cheap Parmesan like you'd get in a packet with your pizza and had no garlic flavor. Spicy Korean just tasted like sugary soy sauce.
