My routes have been expanding from 153rd Ave down to Jenkins road and Cedar Hills Blvd. Yesterday I was out close to an hour and I was heading down TV HWY. I was really hungry and my brain was thinking boneless wings. I kept walking straight and walked in. The restaurant was actually packed. There were 4 tables occupied and i couldn't go past the door because there were people actually lined up @ the front counter. I guess for a Friday evening this is normal, but after 5 minutes of waiting and seeing no progress, I decided to pass. We wanted to try their chicken tenders here and they had a special for Tuesday. We ordered ahead for take out. We ordered a variety of flavors from original to atomic. We also tried the lemon pepper, Spicy Korean Q, and Louisiana rub flavors. I felt like the original was probably the best followed by the Louisiana rub. The atomic didn't have the heat I was expecting and the Spicy Korean Q was more on the sweeter side. The lemon pepper were actually a bit on the greasy side (the chicken tenders). This review isn't about the food--because I hadn't even received it when I started writing. I was just so put off by the person at the counter that I felt the need to share. He looked like he hadn't slept all night. At 4 p.m., he was slouched over the counter, looking disheveled and completely unprepared to be at work. He struggled to take my order and gave off a very unprofessional vibe. I was genuinely uncomfortable and told him directly: "You need to stand up and at least look like you're here to work." The way he presented himself made the whole place look bad. That said--once the food came, it was actually good. It's unfortunate the first impression didn't match the quality of the meal. read more

We ordered delivery, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected the fries and sauced tenders to be soggy, but they were still hot and decently crispy. The medium wing flavor is pretty mild spice wise, but the flavor of the sauce was excellent. The tenders were well breaded and juicy. Solid all around. A word for the manager. I came to pickup an order during the 6PM hour on a Saturday night. I was the only one standing in line. The restaurant was not busy at this hour. A Male clerk who (worked the front counter during this shift) had me fill up my own drink. Delivery drivers don't have a food handler's card. Most of the time, restaurant clerks fill drinks for you. For some reason, this employee felt it was reasonable for me to do his work. As I filled my drink at the beverage dispenser, I noticed that the male clerk was idling about at the counter with no customer to tend to. I love wingstop so this one hurts to write. I've rarely have had knockout visits before and have built in a slight wait past what was designated into my expectations. I ordered online 8 regular wings, cajun corn, and 2 lemon pepper tenders. The online said 18-23 mins. I got there 30 minutes later and paid for my order. It took almost 40 minutes after to get my order. There was plenty workers but it seemed chaotic. One girl was just standing around as if she was lost/didn't wanna do anything. The other was frantically all over the place telling everyone "5 more minutes". A bag was put out and I asked if it was mine and they replied no, because it was also in the unpaid section. After the long wait I went up and could barely make out my name on that bag and it was ultimately mine. What's worse is the girl who rang me up put it there. If they're going to get orders mixed up, they can at least start calling names of complete orders so people know when there's is there. On to the food. My two "lemon pepper" tenders were just plain tenders and half my bone-in wings were small and over cooked. I mean...where do I begin. Did these wings meet my expectations. Yes. Were those expectations high. Not at all. Wings are meant for flying. I did not fly. Not only did I not fly, I was dragged across the ground and left there. I love the wing effort, it's a tough food to perfect. But if your name is wingstop. Your wings should meet at least above expectations. Not should, they need to meet those expectations. I couldn't tell the difference between the Cajun or Mexican street spice but whichever one of those were the red saucy one was the best one there. Best one as in 4/10, maybe. Not only did the wings disappoint me, the fries were soggy, unsalted, and just depressing. I have little hope the other flavors of wings will be any better but I am hopeful they may bring back a small glimpse of light I've yet to find. In my opinion, boneless wings taste fake, like the scraps of meat left for the rats. Considering that, I will try your bone-in wings and reevaluate your scoring. There were many sauces to choose from, I'd try different ones next time. We came during a busy time, so it took a while for our food to arrive (20-25 minutes). The wings were pretty good, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Cajun flavor tasted like buffalo seasoning, not much of cajun spices. Fries were pretty soggy, my wings didn't have enough sauce there were some blank part that clearly didn't get hit with sauce, and my last wing still had a bunch of feathers on it. Fucking gross. I called them to tell them about what happened and they didn't do shit. The service from who I was talking to was poor and you could clearly hear that she didn't care nor give a fuck. When I mentioned the feathers they asked how many, which wing, and if there even were feathers. They offered me a new meal (as if I wanted one) or a refund. Took the refund obviously. I'd give it 3.5 and first time going! Environment: I went in when it just opened. It was green (just like their logo colors) and there were lots of seats and it looked nice. Staff: quickly got my food and was overall nice! Food: Take-out I got their deal (70cents boneless wing deal). I got two flavors. 1. Hawaiian: it was not spicy at all. The texture of the chicken was very good. Very fresh (not mushy as I've had in other fried chicken places). The Hawaiian sauce was sweet and syrupy but it was overall not bad. 2. Lemon pepper: This was a dry rub and the lemon flavor was very good. It was a really good balance of the tartness with the savory pepper flavor. The texture of the chicken was consistently good. The reason why I docked some points was that at the bottom of this dry rub seasoned chicken, I had a huge puddle of oil and it was dripping so I had to take some time to soak the oil up. It felt like they just scooped it over without draining the oil. 3. Fries with regular fry seasoning. The fries weren't the crispy ones. Though they had a "cook-longer" option. I liked the potato skins attached to the fries but I personally wished it was crispier. I also thought the fries were on the saltier side. Next time, I would choose the option of less seasoning. Overall, it wasn't bad. Texture of the meat was good like I said but if they take a little more time to get rid of the access oil that would be great. The wings here are SOOOO good. My hopes never get too high when a chain is in mind, but I'm always so thrilled to be wrong. I absolutely love the Louisiana Rub wings, and loved the Spicy Korean wings as well but be aware they're sweet before the spice kicks in.. its there though! The Louisiana Voodoo Fries are also a cannot miss.. they're loaded with cheese and spice and it's perfectly delicious. We also really loved the corn! If you're in to a Nashville style kick, this is the place for you. The only reason this isn't a 5 for me is because there's a lot of work to do with pickup orders, every time I've ordered so far it's always been pretty far behind. Personally, I think they're underestimating the time it will take to prepare the orders. A more accurate estimate could really help the crowd control, which would be awesome in these weird COVID times. read more

I've been to a Wingstop in California before and with only Buffalo Wild Wings nearby, I was excited to have another wing shop nearby. I ordered an order to go. I ordered three different types of flavored wings but unfortunately, only received two of my three orders. I made the mistake of not checking my order until I got home. When I called in to inform them that I had an order missing, they did not apologize and just told me that I could come back to pick it up. I went back to ask for my missing order. The server had to call the manager and I had to explain what had happened. It would have been nice to have had them compensate me in some way but that did not happen. I've eaten in-store twice and got delivery twice and have never had any issues with this Wingstop before. I don't know how this store compare to WS in other states, but from what I've been told it's at least a lot better than the one on SE? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lemon pepper, Louisiana rub, and spicy Korean are the flavors I would recommend! And definitely go traditional, as boneless had too much breading and not enough chicken. Garlic Parmesan has way too much parmesan to taste anything else. We placed our order online for pickup with ease of the app. The ranch is delicious and I ordered cheese sauce to dip my fries in. I miss WingStop from Las Vegas and now I have a brand spankin new location within 5 1/2 miles from home. There was plenty of staff working to meet the high demand or orders. The wings were average size and fried to a nice golden brown with the perfect amount of lemon pepper seasoning. Hubby ordered the Hot buffalo wings that were mild at best. They were meaty and not overcooked. I love the fries and their seasoning is delicious, it's a lil sweet and a lil salty. Paired with the cheese sauce dip or ranch they are very tasty. Got there ordered food. Ordered here a few weeks ago was craving it a week after. Decided not to because how oily that food has been. So me and my girlfriend wanted it tonight to see if anything has changed. But comes to find out nothing has changed the bag is so fing oily I can't and don't want to set it down in my car and when I was there waiting for it. I noticed they put the to go containers right in the oil and the containers where they put bowls. So it's all over the styrofoam and bag when you leave. Tonight was the last straw because we just stood outside eating. Cause how oily everything was that I didn't want to bring it into the house. Won't be back until something changes and talk to head manager. Also the staff the acts like you're stupid and overlook you and they're better than you. I have more than one occasion of dealing with horrible customer service when ordering online from this particular location. The first time they were less than helpful after a Dasher dashed off with my order. Today, they forgot part of my order and made it known to me that in order to resolve it, I'd have to come up with my own solution. I was told that I could A) come pick it up myself B) wait for a manager to call me back at some point...eventually or C) call Door Dash back and see if they'd bring the food to me that was missing from my order. Rude to me, annoyed at her co-workers and acted like she was "bothered" by a customer who called in to place an order.
