I really don't understand the bad reviews. Honestly, I didn't try this wing stop because of the low score on Yelp. When I spoke to people in town that had been here they promised me it wasn't like the reviews. I'm glad I listened to them and not the reviews! Every time I've ordered from here they have had everything right, ready, and delicious. read more

As a Barstow local for 29 years I've seen every fast food establishment get orders incorrect and Wingstop is certainly no exception. Local Mom and Pop eateries appear to be the only ones who get it right. I'm disabled, so I use the app to order $69.78 worth of food at 2:33 and request a pickup at 4:00. So far, so good. I arrive 5 minutes early, not ready, no problem. At 4:10 it's ready and that's totally acceptable to me. So I leave without opening both large bags and going through the inconvenient act of conducting an inventory. BIG MISTAKE! After driving home and having the wife and grandchildren sit around the table I discovered they shorted me 2 large orders of seasoned fries. They did send the cheese dip though! I immediately called them and they asked me three times what the problem was. Again, being a disabled retiree on a fixed income, I requested a delivery since they offer delivery. They refused and suggested I try a delivery service. So they ultimately agreed that if I drive and park right in front in the disabled space they would bring it out to me (after I described my vehicle). I arrived, they did not come outside, I called them, identified myself, and they asked what I wanted. Finally the employee came outside, stood beside my vehicle, and began looking left and right calling my name. When I received my items there was no apology or thank you whatsoever. By the way, there were maybe one or two customers at the most. They will never have a lack of customers and they obviously do not need my money which is great because they certainly won't receive one more penny from my retirement dollars. read more

SUPER SLOW!! I ordered 3 meals online on the app and i arrived 20 min later (like the app suggested) and I still waited another 40 minutes!! Like seriously.. a whole hour.... and my order still came out messed up. There a joke. It's never even that full to be slow.... I think the kitchen crew is just slow.... this was the 4th time I eat here and only once were they on time. Every other time it's slow. But I decided this time I'm done. Yes slow service as the other reviewers posted. They check your ID when using a credit card, you might be used to that but the card companies do not allow it. And heaven forbid you ask for something special or even request leaving off something, they can't handle it. It was my first Wing Stop and the food id good, so I will try the location near my wife's work. But it can't be worse than this. read more

First visit to this chain. This place was sorta OK at best. Ordered online from the road and it took 23 minutes for food to be ready. Got the BBQ thigh/Buffalo wing combo. The food was "fine." Wing sauce was meh and the thighs were swimming in BBQ sauce. Chicken quality seemed low, but not dangerous. Bathroom had no towels nor any way to open the pull-to-exit door except to grab some TP. Fine in normal times, but not in a pandemic. But the worst? No garbage can in the public area, inside OR out. Worker said, "yeah there's no trash can, you can leave stuff on the table." Fine for their stuff, I guess, but just didn't seem proper. Definitely a no-return. The min. wage staff was as helpful as they could be, though the one who was off-duty eating in the dining room was also off-putting. read more

When this Wingstop closes it will be unsurprising much as it was unsurprising when Dickies BBQ shut down in Barstow; they are *incredibly* inconsistent. I've been here multiple times and had to come back after leaving with my order and getting home to enjoy it, because they burned tf out of the wings I bought. I've been here when their cook forgot to drop enough wings for my order of 30 so I then had to wait an hour for my order. I get that chicken takes time to cook but an hour?! There is absolutely a reason that this place has only two stars. Everyone loves wings. They're not doing any justice to them. read more

I like how Yelp is telling me to remember its tough during covid for these workers. Im working for a food delivery service, providing them a service that has increased in popularity because if that very reason. Im here to rant so hold on to your taco... Literally today I wanted to run over a guy bitching at a girl at el pollo loco because it was "super inconvenient" (I'm sure of this quotation being verbatim because he said it twice) that they forgot his salad dressing and I wanted to tell him mildly inconvenient was probably more accurate seeing as how its pretty convenient that they're open during the pandemic, but I digress. This is a review on Wing Stop. Oh Wing Stop... I wanna like you, really, I do. I love your fries. Your wings are pretty damn good too. And really, I don't mind waiting on you if its just for me. I dont mind waiting when I'm dining in (once upon a time, we use to be able to do this) when I've visited OTHER stores. Their customer service was friendly. They didn't have arbitrary rules and follow them blindly in lieu of common sense and customer service. As a regular customer service came here when a friend ordered online but something went wrong on the app and she wound up having to pay in the store. She only had her debit card and they gave her a real hard time because she didn't have ID. Mind you she had her pin and didn't need ID online. So eventually they took her Facebook...nice save right? NOPE! She wound up double charged. So ok, I see that whoever that was knew a little about bending rules, because Facebook isn't exactly government issued...yet. But now that I'm delivering food I go in and they are sooooo slow. So instead of getting 3 or 4 orders for $5-10 a piece, I'm sitting around waiting for this ONE $4-7 order, unless of course another order for Wing Stop comes in and doubles my money but also doubles my wait. Not to mention they don't trust you. You go in with your mask with a company logo on it and they want to physically look at your phone and see the customer's name. Then after you wait "5 minutes" (best put a 1 on the front of that 5) they wanna see your phone again to physically watch you confirm that you've picked up the order. NO OTHER RESTAURANT OR PLACE I PICK UP FROM has this type of rule in place. Whether it's a gas station, liquor store, walmart...NOBODY requests to see my phone. I might show them because Idk how to pronounce a name, or if I'm not wearing my glasses I can't read a number, or I'm comparing information on my screen with theirs, but NO ONE EVER REQUESTS, much less demands to see it. I shouldn't even have to bring it in with me. Last time i went in, it was the 3rd time in one night I had been in the store. I had already delivered 3 orders for them in the last hour or so. They still wanted to see my phone. I told them it was on the charger in my car. I was getting close to the end of my shift and I use spotify a lot, and have to take it off the charger often to take photos of orders left at the door, rather than handed to the customer. They didn't want to give me the food because they had to see the order received being confirmed. I complained and and explained I had already delivered 3 orders for them, did they think I was going to steal it?! I've spent all this time waiting and you're going to waste more of my time and keep your customer waiting that much longer because you want to enforce an arbitrary rule at the cost of a decent partnership with someone providing you and your customer a valuable service? The manager told me "you don't have to deliver for us" Ya know what? She's absolutely right. She can find someone else to deliver that order. I'm DONE. I will not deliver for Wing Stop again. Do yourself a favor and order from Its Just Wings (inside Chili's), Fatburger, Pizza Palace, even Little Caesars, or order some from Walmart and cook them yourself. You'll probably get them faster, especially if your food delivery person finally decides they are wasting time delivering for a company who doesn't want you to pick up more than one order but also doesn't want to turn out orders in a timely OR friendly fashion. That's right, they want you to indicate that you are already at their store as soon as the order comes thru on the app even if you're six blocks away so that you cant get any other orders to deliver with their order, which might be ok if they paid $9 or $10 to deliver with the amount of time you wind up waiting. In conclusion, this is only about the Barstow location. I've been to other Wing Stops and while their food has taken a while, their customer service was impeccable and worth the bother of waiting. But time is money and delivering for them is losing money and getting shit on to do it. And even as a paying customer I wasn't satisfied with their customer service. read more

I know this shop is new so I hope you will take this constructive criticism - the wings need to be crispier, especially the dry rub ones. A wing stop in Barstow is just as good as a wing stop in Barstow could be. Add 20 minutes to the time they say your meal will be ready for pick-up and count your wings. Our 20 count wings came with only 16 and our 10 piece wings came with 9. read more
