I don't normally write reviews but this chef is a special breed of moron. Wings To Go, where "order accuracy" seems to be a foreign concept. Allow me to walk you through the absurdity that was my attempt to eat a Sicilian Pizza: 1) Ordered said Sicilian Pizza for 8:30 pick-up. Arrived, only to be told it's not ready. It was actually quite clear they had not started. Because at Wings To Go, "on time" means "give us another 15 minutes." I shrugged it off. Okay, people make mistakes. I'll wait. 2) 20 minutes later, it's finally ready. I pick up order and go home. Arrived home to find a plain cheese pizza. Evidently, "Sicilian" means "whatever the chef feels like making" at Wings To Go. 3) Called, baffled, only to hear the chef decided cheese would be quicker (evidently bc they forgot to start my order when I had arrived). Rather than be straightforward and say that a Sicilian would be another hour, they INTENTIONALLY decided to make something I did not even order and hoped I wouldn't notice. The convenience / saving face of the chef is clearly priority number one. 4) I demanded a refund only to be told I'd have to DRIVE back with the wrong pizza to get that. Apparently, customer satisfaction takes a back seat to scavenger hunts at Wings To Go. I said okay ... that's ridiculous. I'm not going drive home to give you back an order that you accidentally screwed up, let alone PURPOSELY screwed up. 5) Okay, if no refund is possible ... I suggested they make me a Sicilian later some other night. I did not want to be difficult. They said no, it has to be TONIGHT (it was almost 10 pm)! As if I'm going to waste another 90 minutes of time. They refused, offering a overly generous 15% discount for my next order. Consistency in disappointing customers must be their motto. If you're interested in playing Pizza Mystery Box with your dinner, Wings To Go has you covered. If you actually want what you order, perhaps consider an establishment that understands the definition of "order." The audacity of this experience left me more bewildered than satisfied. read more

Very disappointing. Ordered a buffalo style sub via seamless. Had one TINY thin piece of chicken on each side. If you want to guess how fresh the food is, look at the very old pizza that is sitting out front, looks like it's been sitting there for days. Worst part, I ordered during the COV-19 pandemic, and all restaurant workers are required to wear a face mask. The woman behind the counter who handed me my food was not wearing a mask nor was she wearing gloves! The chef in the back had his face mask pulled down around his neck. I reached out to seamless and they called Wings to Go, Wings to Go refused to refund the order. $9 wasted, but even if the food was safe to eat, it was still a waste of $9. read more

First Monday night football game of the year I decided to jackhammer the final nail in my summer diet's coffin by placing a robust wing order for delivery here in Hoboken. We were drawn to this place by process of elimination and really just a lack of attractive alternatives. They also had a variety of sauces available on the menu which I believe was the clincher... They told us it would be an hour - a suspicious wait period even at the height of an Eagles vs. Redskins thriller. It took just under 90 minutes for the order to arrive. When it did, I literally laughed at the product... Even took the time to take pictures and snap-chatted them around. I don't know what this place uses for its poultry but its not chicken... Judging by the size of my wings my best guess would be pigeon. I'm used to struggling though a healthy plate of 15 American wings... We basically inhaled our order in about 1 redskins possession... The wings were really, really bad. Greasy and served with a pool of oil on the bottom. There was hardly any sauce. We received the wings with no celery or carrots on the side and had to pay 25 cents extra for one container of Ranch dressing. The pizza was also bad (not as bad as the wings though). I have ordered wings, for delivery, several times from here - I have yet to be disappointed. Decor: n/a Bathroom: n/a Staff: The person who answers the phone is always very nice and the delivery usually takes about 45mins (not bad). Food: I always get the boneless wings and I really enjoy them! Sure, they could be hotter but they are delivery, what do you expect (esp in the winter!). But the meat tastes great and the sauces are delicious (Buffalo Garlic is what I usually go with, but Hot and Cajun are great too). Celery and ranch are extra, but they are pretty good quality. Value: A little bit on the pricey side, for just wings, but I guess they can charge a premium because they are the only wing-delivery place in Hoboken (and they are good!). Food was delivered early, so I'm very disappointed that the everything was so way below standard. Ribs were bland (beer boiled/steamed, then fried??) Chili was from a can with a splash of hot wing sauce. Beef patties were nothing special...probably just some frozen Golden Krust. The chicken tenders were good, but they boxed them up without room to breath and everything just got chewy. No complaints on my fried mushrooms and their sauces were all great. I'm a huge fan of and now regularly dreaming of "bar-b-cide". I'm curious now if they sell sauce. Hmmmmm? Worst customer service ever. Checked online to see if I was within their delivery range and found that I was within their "zone". However, after waiting 40 minutes for my order I called them to check on the status of my order only to find that they didn't deliver to my area. Maybe you should fix the stats on your website and call your customers and let them know that their food won't be coming so they can order else where. No apologizes or incentives to come back. First Wings to Go I tried was the one in Hamilton and this one is just as good, just more cluttered since they have barely any space to dine in. However - the name of the place is Wings TO GO, so that is not a complaint in any way. This place has a lot of good things going for it. First, it has a parking lot. If you're driving and looking for parking in Hoboken, you know what a premium that is. Second, is the variety. Their menu isn't just wings. They have sandwiches, wraps, pizza, burgers. The possibilities are really endless. Yes, it isn't the most attractive place. Seating is at a premium, it's really just a grab and go kind of a place. The wings are tasty as well. With a vast variety of sauces it's possible to not have the same wing twice. I ingested about 20 Wings To Go wings the other weekend while watching the NFL RedZone channel. Now, I expel a lot of energy while watching football, with my fantasy team and suicide pool and the like. I may as well be doing 6 hours worth of constant hamstring workouts for the amount of times I get out of my seat to either yell at the TV or cheer. It is essential that I ingest some fried protein in order to keep me somewhat grounded during football Sundays so I don't rip my hamstrings off the bone. Ordered from them through Grubhub. They took the order and even sent a confirmation. Ten minutes from delivery time (an hour after placing the order) we received a phone call from Grubhub, not even the restaurant itself, saying that they had cancelled the order and gone back to the restaurant because "a road was closed." We live in an area with multiple routes of travel between the restaurant and our residence; the likelihood of road closure being a hinderance is remote to say the least. I got the wings in a Mild sauce with ranch dressing. The man on the phone was very helpful, and he told me that my food would arrive between 30-45 minutes. Tried them for the first time on a football funday sunday. I've been combing the tri-state area for the best wings to munch on while watching football. I was excited to see they had a bunch of sauces to choose from, some involving my favorite spice flavoring, garlic. On my first attempt I tried out the teriyaki, buffalo garlic, and golden garlic. They told me delivery would take 45 minutes, which on a Sunday is more than reasonable. All the wings were lightly battered, crispy, and delivered hot (temperature wise). The teriyaki wings were my favorite. The sauce doesn't really hold to the wings like you would imagine it holding to say a buffalo wing, but you get enough of it on the wing, and with a little extra dunking in the tray you get a perfectly coated wing. To date 10th & Willow has the best teriyaki wings in town. Next up were the golden garlic wings, which were hauntingly familiar in flavor. For some reason it reminded me of the buttery garlic flavor I use to bake my lobsters. Simple and messy. I wish they mixed the garlic and the teriyaki together. That would blow my mind. To date 4 L's has the best buttery garlic (lemon) wings in town - Sienna wings. Last, but not least, the buffalo garlic. These were your standard buffalo wings. More buffalo taste than actual spiciness (which reminded me of Frank's Buffalo Sauce). Didn't really taste the garlic, but it was still good. Some blue cheese dipping on the side made it all worth it. To date Hudson Tavern has the best buffalo wings in town. Three flavors down, with about 17 to go. I'd diffidently order from here again. My "pound" of wings consisted of small nugget like pieces and barely amounted to 1/2 a lb of chicken, and I had asked for extra sauce and did not receive it on my order, which was displeasing to me. They make the best wing in Hoboken and the biggest reason for that is because of their consistency. The hot sauce is perfect, its butter and a tad garlic with a little kick of heat. Tons a flavor. Wasn't enamored by the meal, but I'd like to think I caught them on a bad day. We had two types of boneless wings, the "hot" and "parmesan garlic". Both flavors were pretty good, and for those complaining that there was no "sauce" on the hot wings, that's true, but that doesn't mean they are flavorless. The parmesan garlic ones had a sauce, and bordered a bit on the oily side. That being said, they were still good. The reason that I think I caught a bad batch was b/c all the chicken was very dry. Clearly overcooked. So clear, in fact, that I refuse to believe that this is their norm. There's no way they could miss this on a regular basis. So, I'm thinking that if the good flavoring was combined with properly cooked chicken, we'd be onto something. The pizza was non descript. I used to get their Teriyaki and Golden Garlic (Buttery & Loaded with Garlic) sauces w/ my wings. The wings here are never baked or soggy, always crispy. I've been going to this place for a few years and always got the wings. In my previous review, I raved about them. Tonight I wanted something different, so I ordered mussels marinara. What a major ripoff!!! I got six mussels, six mussels for 9 bucks! The sauce was ok, the mussels were tough and there simply wasn't enough of them. Their on line menu said they were $7.95 and in actuality, they were $9.00. Do the math...the $i.25 per lousy mussel. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost. It is places like this where I wish there was an option to rate negative stars on Yelp. Ordered our food at 8:30, and got a phone call at 9:50 saying they were outside with our food... except, no, they were not. After clearing up that mess and making sure the delivery guy now has our right address and him stating he was coming right from the wrong address to our home, another 25 minutes in and we still hear nothing (we live 5 minutes away from first, wrong, location). We then call the delivery guy again and he ensures us he is 3 minutes away. 15 minutes later at 10:30 we received our food! Needless to say, it was completely inedible.
