Ordered ahead for pickup. Arrived 1/2 hour later and found that order wasn't even started. When I asked what was going on I was greeted with attitude and bad excuse. Given the delay and being pressed for time asked to sit at bar and eat. Was once again not treated as a guest should be. When the order came out it was not prepared well, understood because of the rush, and had no condiments or napkins. Once again got attitude for bad service. The food wasn't worth the wait but got eaten because of hunger. I will not return and now remember why I hadn't been here in a while. read more

Went there today with two friends. A new menu from when I was there a few months ago. Apparently new ownership. Not thrilled with the menu, we each ordered a tuna wrap. Server asked what side each onus wanted and named a laundry list of sides. It took forever for the order to come out and the restaurant was empty. The tuna was tasteless and soggy, consequently the spinach wrap was soggy. Along with th wrap came a very small container of coleslaw, nothing to write home about, it was acceptable. I had water to drink. The check came to $28. The wrap was $15.95. When questioned why it was so high, we find out there's a $2.00 charge for the side. He didn't tell us this nor does it say anything on the menu regarding a charge for sides. It still doesn't add up to $28 unless they charge a hefty price for water. I've been to this place a lot and usually I love Wings at Weston but today the food was not up to the mark. The servers were all really nice and friendly but the wait for the food was really long. We got two orders of wings and a chicken quesadilla. The wings are usually 10/10 but for some reason they weren't that good that night. Did a quick search for wings in the area and found this mom and pop shop. The lunch special with 7 to 8 wings is 14.95 with fries and a drink. A little pricey but I had high expectations. unfortunately the wings were tiny and I only received seven not eight. I also asked if I could have broccoli instead of the fries and was told yes. When the bill came I received an up charge of two dollars which brought my seven wing lunch special to 16.95+ tax and tip. I was not advised of the up charge. The service was good but the wings were tiny and underwhelming also I did not feel I got a good value at over $20 out the door. cannot recommend there are better options out there. read more

Went today for dinner thru a Groupon. It was a disaster there !! It was not busy today at 530 pm. We, my GF and I, ordered the Reubens. The order took a long time to come, like I said it was not busy at all. The sandwich was skimpy with a small bread surface. Half of mine has a tiny bit of sauerkraut and the other half had NONE. Server took it back and when it came out again, the no sauerkraut side had a skimpy amount of sauerkraut. Brought it again to the server's attention and he brought out a small bowl of sauerkraut. From the owner's 'denial' and 'blame the customer' response, I'll just say...when I came in to pickup my order (during the lunch hour), there was one person sitting at the bar and one couple sitting at a table. Not quite the mad outflow of food. It should be noted that: "a Perishable food (like chicken and other meats) should be tossed if left out at room temperature more than two hours (much less if in a warm room). ... If the food is not kept warm in chafing dishes (or stored on ice, when served cold), it is no longer safe to eat after two hours of sitting on the table." Wings can spoil in as little as two hours if not refrigerated after thawing...and that's at room temperature, even less in a hot room or kitchen. Rather than debate my industry experience, check to see how this might have happened. I didn't ask for a refund or anything comped, I merely let you know about a problem I encountered at your Restautant, where the wings were spoiled. read more

Not a roll and not Texas toast and a ton a lettuce. 2pm on a Thursday only people in the restaurant, very clean, and same atmosphere as before. Waiter was awesome and he was on top of everything, but service cant make up for food. The taste of the garlic and chicken was still good but not as good as before and the wings were good for the most part. Might come again or might go to the original Wiltom Wings or new Wicked Wings in Plantation. Ugh, I am so disappointed with this restaurant. I had take-out from here two weeks ago and last weekend I ate lunch here. The take-out was delicious and the dine in experience was frustrating to say the least. I had lunch delivered two weekends ago. My mom ordered a small order of medium garlic wings. I tasted them and thought they were very good and my mom enjoyed them too. I didn't try the blue cheese dressing but it looked good & my mom liked it. I ordered a plain burger and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were crispy and they didn't get soggy during the delivery process & I really liked them. My burger was amazing. It was prepared perfectly (I asked for medium) and it was so juicy. I ate it off the bun (trying to be somewhat healthy) and I ate the entire thing. It came with coleslaw which was just so-so and a pickle. I was really impressed with how great the burger was. We came back for lunch last weekend. My mom ordered the Fried Clams which looked great and I was dying to taste them but I was being good. My mom said they were good and she had enough to take home. What annoyed me was that they gave her tartar sauce in little packets, like ketchup packets. I am a dipper and if I ordered the clams, I would have been disappointed that I didn't have a small cup to dip the clams into. Just my opinion but I am super picky and my mom is not, so it was okay. I was looking forward to ordering the burger again, in fact I was craving it all week. Like the week before, I ordered it medium and without the bun. To my surprise it arrived very well done. I attempted to cut off a piece just to try it. They only have plastic silverware, so it was a challenge. I asked our server for a real knife and she brought me a butter knife. With great difficulty, I was able to cut off a little piece and I really tried to like it. After two bites I decided to send it back. It was way overcooked and extremely dry. I substituted steamed veggies for the fries and they were barely steamed. I was really let-down. I ordered a cup of the chili. This was good. It was a little skimpy on the meat and I don't remember if it had beans and if it did they were not present in my cup anyway. The chili had good flavor and it was topped with raw onions (I asked not to have cheese added). I would order it again without any hesitation. The service was not so great. Our server was very young and she was hard to track down sometimes. Although she was very sweet, I wouldn't want to sit in her section again. Between the service and the lack of real silverware I don't think I would eat here again. The delivery was quick and everything arrived hot and cooked correctly. So definitely a great place for take-out in my opinion, not so great to eat inside the restaurant. If your looking for a quick meal, and don't mind eating with plastic utensils, this would be a good choice. I prefer to stick with places that are consistent and sadly this restaurant isn't. Absolutely the worst food I have ever had in my life...I am not exaggerating...let me detail it. The burger with the Onion rings inside was super super salty we were not abke to finiah it. Chicken wings were super oily and tasted freezer burned, to top it off, I asked for lemon pepper wings and it was basically just covered in lemon pepper after it was cooked...fries tasted like they were a day old and it was all crumbled like it was the last bits left and very skinny. The cheese that I asked for the fries also tasted super old and it was an amber color like it had been sitting out. The waitress was super nice and understanding but I did tell her to relate the message to her boss and the kitchen. This place needs to consider revamping their menu and kitchen as well as hiring new cooks. Out of the five wings I ordered I was only able to eat two of how terrible it was. This place has potential but they defintaly need more quality control on their food! Ambiance is ok, they are really trying to be the sports bar that couldn't be. Wings in Weston was recommended to me and decided to pass by for quite some time as I don't live near the area. I'm glad I did the wings and beer were yummmyyy just the perfect kick in spice.. Very busy when I went which means food and service must be great and I can definitely vouch for that. As soon as you walk in you get greeted, waiter was extremely attentive, while multitasking and attending other customers. Diverse menu. Definitely going back for more wings, but definitely trying something different from the menu. The wings are ok, not the best by far, but not terrible either. The steak fries were inedible, extremely greasy & soggy. Same goes for the fried mushrooms, I understand that they are fried, but it's as if they were marinated in grease for 48 hours. Let me just start with how pleased I was with the food. I had some boneless wings and chili cheese fries. However if you are to order the chili fries just ask for a little less chili mine had a lot and it kinda turned to mush but they were still good. My girlfriend had the buffalo chicken flanks which she also enjoyed. So now why 3 stars of the food was so good? Well it's based purely on the service staff. We walked in and promptly greeted and told we can sit wherever we want (the place was empty). We chose a corner booth away from everything. Our server promptly came over and gave us menus and took drink orders. Then came back with our drinks and took food orders. And she was not to be seen again until after almost completing my meal. My drink was empty as was my girl friends. If it was busy I could understand how somethings can be over looked. I get it. But we were the only patrons inside. Also, the extra staff here was very loud screaming things about stalking people on Instagram. One of them even screamed "fuck you" very loudly. And that was not the only time we heard explicit language from the staff. I don't think that this is acceptable behaviors in the work place. I'm not here trying to get people in trouble but sometimes management does not know what goes on when they are not around. It's just seems like there are a bunch of teenagers here acting like teenagers. I will return for the food but it will be takeout from now on. I've been coming here for almost 30 years. In fact, Wings in Weston is actually in the City of Sunrise, not Weston. There have been few changes with this establishment until the past few years when the new owners took over. The location and atmosphere is still the same with several TVs to watch your favorite sport but it now has a newer, more fresh and cleaner vibe in comparison to other wing locations. The service has dwindled,along with the food quality but don't let that sway your opinion. Stop by and decide for yourself, here at the Wings in Weston (Sunrise) and see a movie next door at AMC. I've been coming to this location for over 20 years. The name has changed a few time and I'm assuming the ownership as well. I come here 2-3 times a month with a buddy who comes here 2 times a week. I always order the same thing. Philly cheesesteak, and it's almost always on point. I'm not a picky person at all and almost always let things go. Tonight I order the same as usual. When the food got there both me and my buddy said the same thing. "Wow that's a lot of cheese" I ate half the sandwich when I had to call it quits. There was so much cheese on there I couldn't taste the meat. I told the waitress and she said I'll talk to the manager. 20 minutes later she brings the check and says I could only take 10% off. Now I wasn't looking for something free. I did eat half of it. The part that made me upset is that no one cared. I manage a place that has more guest come through in an hour then this place does in a day. I do table visits often and if there's any issue what so ever with the food we serve I make it right. Management at this place couldn't care less. Apparently checking up on my complaint was to much for him. When we left my buddy saw the manager sitting down with other people having a good time. I was gonna go up and talk to him but figured he just don't care about his guest and walked out. I grew up 5 minutes from this place and now drive 20 minutes to come here.
