Decided to give them another try last night after a year and well... - Service wasn't great (waitresses was unfriendly and inattentive. - Boneless wings were okay but sauce was just poured over top (see picture) - On a plus side, tots were great (as was the company I was with)! read more

Wings Etc - 5 boneless Peach Chipotle and 5 boneless Hot Honey Garlic (sauce poured on top?) w/ two pieces of celery - Sports Bars Near Me - West Lafayette, Indiana

Man, that one waitress was busy as a bee, no wonder she had that certain look thru out one Monday night with least expectation to be that busy, but totally understand that her being the only one person catering to all the customers, small or large. Her expression def improved as time went on - what a professional. She deserved that 20+. Beside that, the food was what the other reviews mentioned. read more

We walked into Wings Etc, got seated, and waited. And waited. And waited. For 20 minutes we sat there with menus in hand, ready to order, while the staff seated at least five other tables after us. Every single one of those tables had their drink orders taken, received their drinks, and some were already ordering food. Meanwhile, our table had not been acknowledged once. Not a greeting, not a drink order, nothing. We weren't being difficult customers. We were literally just sitting there patiently with the menu picked out, waiting for someone to do the bare minimum and say hello. Watching multiple tables that came in after us get full service while we were completely ignored was honestly one of the most frustrating dining experiences I've had. We eventually just got up and left. If a restaurant can't manage to acknowledge a table within twenty minutes, something is seriously wrong with the management and service standards. Plenty of other places in town that actually want customers. read more

I ordered wings and loaded tots to go. Wings were ok,..."loaded tots" were aesthetically disappointing! Im pretty certain that the preparer of these tots knows what "loaded" means, because this ain't it! Very disappointed. read more

Was sat in an almost empty section and was never approached by a waitress. They sat 5 other tables around us and they all had drinks and were ordering good before we caught the hostesses attention and she said the waitress was busy. Waitress shows up 2 minutes later and takes a drink order from the table beside us that hadnt even settled in their seats. Walked out immediately. Terrible service! read more

The wing size is better now! Clean and friendly!. Service was swift. I made a mistake and ordered from West Lafayette, they reached out to them and canceled, took good care of me. That was awesome!. read more

Got in about 2pm there were maybe 2 tables here that already had food upon sitting down we were very rushed to order and the server was not friendly even tho we had just barely sat down. After ordering we were the only people here and waited an hour for food (very simple orders 1 burger 1 philly side of mac and cheese order of mac and cheese and a half order of tots) when it got out it was COLD. our server never came and checked on anything and only got refills when we had to get her after them sitting empty for a hot minute. and then had to get her for a bill after we were clearly done and she had walked by several times never stopping once. over the span of more than 15-20min. When finally paying she did it wrong multiple times to the point we got 4 receipt's and then didn't give us correct change after all that! read more

My wife and I came in on Tuesday night last week. It was our first time there. We had the best service we've had in a long time. Our waitress was named Casey. She gave us great suggestions and continued to check in with us on how the food was and always kept a cold beer in front of us. We are looking forward to seeing her again tomorrow evening. read more

$1.99 for two sticks of celery and a cup of blue cheese to go with my wings. Two sticks of celery! Food is okay-ish. Service is hit or miss some are great some are awful. Prices are high. read more

I'll order from here again, but was surprised at the lack of rub on my Jamaican dry rub wings. They were good, but not as flavorful as I was anticipating, tasted more like a naked wing (which aren't bad either!). I'll give it another try for sure, because the meat was good even if the rub wasn't all there. I loved the fried mushrooms and will definitely be ordering them again in the future. read more

I'm always a little wary when a restaurant doesn't have a higher rating, but there's nothing at all wrong with Wings Etc. We went for the namesake dish and we're more than happy with the wings. Nice and crispy, good flavor, huge number of available sauces and rubs. Service was fine. It took us a little while to order but we never felt rushed. Some interesting specials provided a nice accent to an already full offering. read more

I have been going to wings for several years. I loved the staff! Jenn was a saint and she knew how to make her customers feel at home. Then, recently, there was a new manager that came in and she is just rude and doesn't seem to know what it means to be in service. I've been in a few times since and service was slow and staff was rude and untrained. I won't be back. It's sad. At first I was surprised at the low rating wings has but after the last 6-8 months, it fits! read more

Rayme, The Senior Manager, tried to make up for the bad service..Thank you, we do like coming to Wings Etc

Pros: Online order was easy to place, accurate, and done 6 minutes earlier than promised. Jalapeno poppers were cooked perfectly. Cons: All 24 boneless wings were burnt, small, and had barely any sauce. Fries were also burnt. Very expensive for overcooked food. read more

DISRESPECTFULLY BAD. Management is telling them to make the cheapest food possible. Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with Tweener sauce, garlic seasoning and no tomato. Not a single specification was done. A "BUFFALO" chicken wrap. With NO SAUCE. The chicken is about 10% of the wrap, and genuinely 80% bread, zero protein just oily crust. They put about $2 of chicken in a $14 wrap. so dissapointing. It sucked read more

Fantastic wings. Horrible outdoor patio experience. Waitstaff was attentive to our table but there was always someone coming outside from the bar to smoke during our meal even though there were signs posted that the patio was non smoking. There was no managerial oversight and the smokers were not asked to move to another spot outside the restaurant to smoke. We will not return for dine in service. read more

Not a great experience. We waited 10 minutes to be noticed and seated (it was not busy). The olives on my bloody mary were grey and unappetizing. Neither of my friends received the burgers they ordered. My tortilla chips weren't crunchy, but bendy and soft. The food overall was good, but it would be nice to receive what we ordered! Overall a pretty disappointing experience, not sure if I'll be returning. read more

We waited over an hour for our food. When it arrived it was cold and two orders were wrong. We had to get our own silverware and we saw people refilling their own drinks. Won't be back again. read more

I feel like this place is just average. I ordered bone in wings, garlicky parm, and it seemed like they just poured an entire bottle of sauce over the wings. I love sauce, but it was a little much. My food didn't end up sitting well, either, but I can't decide if that was their fault or just bad luck. Either way, it's not horrible, but it's also not great. read more

Went with some friends for trivia and dinner recently, and one friend ordered fish and chips. When the server brought her meal, it was a couple fish fillets with tortilla chips! When she questioned it, the server said "Yep that's fish and chips." OK, maybe not all of us Americans know that fish and chips are actually fish and french fries, but the description on the menu even said it came with fries and a side. There was no additional side, either. After delivering the food, the server disappeared, never to be seen again. Someone else had to bring our checks which were all mixed up. read more

I am a local that likes local establishments but I just can't do it anymore. Been coming here for 8 years and it just gets worse. Its been nice but wings at walts from now on. Service and food quality is just not acceptable. Dang it. read more

I came to dine in around 9:45 pm. I ordered my drink and an appetizer- which went fine until I was going to place my entree order. Prior to being sat down my waitress did not give any notice of their flat top grill being shut off for the night... which I found odd since the restaurant didn't close for a whole hour. Overall this extremely limited my menu choices. Had I been informed from the moment I stepped into the building I would've gone else where. read more

Christo's had a 30 minute wait, so we went to Wings etc. because we had some hungry kids. Should have waited at Christo's. There were maybe three tables taken on this sunny Saturday afternoon. There appeared to be one waitress on duty. She was unable to handle these three tables - everything was slow except the appetizer came out promptly. Meals took forever and Wings etc is basically just fried SYSCO food so I don't really understand why there was such a delay to get our meals. I presume the kitchen is just horribly understaffed. Food was so-so, which was actually better than I remember, but the service was absolutely terrible. I mean, just horrendous. We got our food 50 minutes after we got there when there was basically no one in the place. Unacceptable. No apology, no nothing. Fast food is a much, much better choice than Wings etc, but if you're near there and it's not Sunday, just go to Parthenon across the parking lot. read more

We moved to West Lafayette almost 2 years ago now and one of the things we were most excited about was how close Wings etc. was to our new house. We are big fans of Wings, love the food!! Well this specific location is HORRIBLE !! The service is so bad, every single time. We have not had one good experience and have tried really hard to be patient with them and hoped that it would get better, it has not. Take out orders are never ready even when called in days before!! It is so bad that even though this location is less than a mile from home we will go to the one across town. I do not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Sat here for an hour and a half waiting for my food when there were plenty of open tables. When our food comes, they forgot to even make my wings, but the other people i'm sitting with got theirs. When I get my wings 20 minutes later, they were ice cold. None of us had silverware. My friend asked for silverware for the 5 of us and she comes back with 1 set strictly for him. Worst experience I have ever been in a restaurant . The waitress didn't even smile 1 time, and I am expected to tip her mistakes? No. read more

Great experience, As soon as I came to the door the host greeted me and got seated quickly. My waitress was very attentive our drinks stayed full the whole time and food got to us very quick the wings were perfectly cooked with amazingly seasoned fries. I have been warned by friends that this place is total garbage, but I found myself really hungry and nearby and feeling like wings, so I made the mistake of deciding to try it out. The wings were absolutely disgusting. I mean disgusting. The sauce that I ordered -mild -was so liquidy That it wouldn't stick to the wings. It just looks like I had a big pool of orange tinged fat at the bottom of my plate. Service was awful too. I should've listened and not gone to this place - I'm basically going to throw the wings in the trash. read more

Got their Laredo burger for takeout and I was pleasantly surprised. I asked for it to be done medium and I have to admit, I didnt have high expectations. They put all the wings in the same container so all the sauces mixed together. The sauce was extremely runny, not thick at all. Don't try their jerk flavors, they taste like cinnamon. Seriously? I don't want cinnamon and Buffalo flavored wings, gross. The only thing that was good about my order were the traditional lemon pepper wings. read more

Best wing restaurant around here. Really fantastic. The wings are really great, as are the tater tots. The staff are great. Very family friendly. Good place to watch a game on tv (they have TVs across every wall with sports on). Highly recommended. Every time we come here, the food is truly delicious. read more

We love wings in our family and to be honest, because of the Yelp reviews, I resisted trying this place for a long time but after trying them 3 times in the last few months, they impressed me! Personal fave is the lime pepper dry rub bone-in wings. Spouse and kid love the boneless and the tots. Great food, and takeout service is fast and friendly! read more

Wings Etc recently opened up down the road from where I live, which made me excited to have a sports bar where I could catch a game with some (hopefully) tasty food and cold beer. It's a chain regional to the Midwest and seems to have somewhat of a following, so what the heck. I went with coworkers on two occasions. One, which I will briefly touch on, was to conquer their "Wall of Flame Challenge" which involved eating 16 crazy hot wings with no food or drink. Success! At the sacrifice of all taste for the next day. Worth it? Well, I did get a free t-shirt. Back to Wings. Having worked in restaurants for a decent part of my life, I am critical when it comes to service. I'm not a jerk by any means, and I understand the concept of being busy, but there should be a good line of communication between staff and customer. Wings Etc does not have this. We waited 10 minutes for our waitress, 15 minutes for our drinks, 30 minutes for our food, and then 20 minutes more for her to bring us the check and then run our credit cards. That's just not acceptable. And the second time I went back, the service was just as bad. Not friendly, and way too long. As for the food, it's ok. The boneless wings are cooked to death so you get crusty nuggets and the traditional wings are a bit big (because they are jumbo) and have a large skin pocket on them that does not cook very well, leaving you with a flabby, fatty wing to eat. The sauces are ok, much thicker than any other wing place I have been to, and most seem to have a tomato base. So the sauce does not really stick to the wing, meaning the wings are a bit bland. The fries they make are very tasty, but that's pretty much all I found enjoyable about the experience. So sadly I will have to travel further down the road if I want chicken wings or a football game, because this place is just not working out. read more

Pretty terrible, actually. Food quality and timeliness were well below average. Medium heat buffalo sauce was all oil and wasn't spicy at all. Boneless wings were somewhat edible amongst the puddles of oil. French fries were among the worst I've ever had... limp, cold, undersalted. Pretzel nuggets were clearly microwaved from a frozen bag and placed next to nacho cheese sauce they got from a high school football concession stand. The best thing I have to say about this Wings Etc location is that they have several functional televisions. If someone tells you that they like this exact Wings Etc location more than ... anywhere else ... then you should immediately stop taking food-related advice from said person. read more

They have decent prices on daily specials but overall, the food isn't very good and the service is consistently awful. Most of the servers have a bad attitude in conjunction with providing poor service (incorrect food/bills, neglecting to check up, etc.). Some coworkers of mine enjoy trivia night on Thursdays, otherwise, I would never eat here. read more

Salty wings and slow service sums this place up. The only good thing they have going for themselves is their giant beer tap that comes to your table, that thing is pretty awesome and affordable. Come here to drink and watch a game, not to eat dinner. read more

Ehhhhh, not that good of a restauraunt tbh. Service was mediocre, the wings were ok, but not that much effort put into them (sauce poured over the top, not tossed). NO STARS RATING--RUDE SERVERS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, POOR FOOD QUALITY! (I could not post review without giving a one star rating) Went to Wings Etc in West Lafayette IN with a colleague yesterday, a Wednesday afternoon around two, for a late lunch.
