Where is can't even describe the level of disrespect and rudeness I experience when I decided to place an order at this place when I walked in I saw a group that had already been seated, and the waiter was walking towards them so I sat down to look over the menu Thinking someone would be right with me. I had to have been there for well over 30 minutes during that time I watched the same male waitress attend to two separate groups. He took their drink orders and their food orders. He bought their drinks back in the entire time while I was only 10 feet away from him. He never acknowledge Me Not once eventually a woman came from the kitchen and asked have I been helped. I shook my head, no and expressed to her how long I have been sitting there while the young man never once acknowledge me what all that being said he shouldn't be in a position where he has to deal with the public if he doesn't know how to greet them properly even after she took my order he still never acknowledge me I hate to think that it was because I'm a black woman that he completely disregarded and disrespected me, but this place needs to reconsider who they have as a waitress because this guy has no professionalism. Whatsoever.

It's not that I couldn't finish them, I just didn't want to

The bartender was having a conversation with regulars about how much they hated living here. This negative talk on front of customers is a huge pet peeve of mine as it puts diners in an immediate negative state of mind. So maybe that's what tainted my review... I'll start on a positive note: the tater tots were perfectly done and crispy. The "award winning wings" were a no for me. They had two dry rubs to choose from so I picked the Jamaican Jerk (I may have the name wrong, but it was jerk). The wings were not crispy enough for a dry rub so the rub turned into more of a sauce and while some parts of the chicken had almost no rub, other parts were drowning in the now-liquid not-dry rub. I finished half of them before giving up and going back to the hotel.

Chargrilled Beyond Burger

On my 4-hour drive between Cincinnati and NWI, we almost always stop at the Dairy Queen at the Lafayette exit. This time around, we had a hankering for something a little more substantial but didn't want to venture too far off course. I pulled up the Wings Etc. menu not really expecting much from a vegetarian perspective, but imagine my surprise to see a Beyond Burger on their menu. So great to see the variety of restaurants getting into the meat-alternative game! It was soooo delicious, too, as was the side of fries that it came with. I know where my stop of choice will be in the future when I need a little something more than DQ to tide me over.

Raw chicken wing

Tried this for the first and probably last time . The waitress Brooke was very good and fast the food however was meh . The wings which they call large are not in fact they're small. the wing sauce is just poured over the (precooked?) wings so they aren't coated at all . One wing (pictured below )was not cooked . The Asian wing sauce was ok nothing special and pretty sweet the Buffalo was bland . The nachos were cold I expect them to be warm at least . The jalapeños were raw so they were way too hot without that nice tangy heat. We love nachos and didn't finish them . We ordered the new fried mushrooms they were greasy and not at all like they are in the picture . It looks like fried mushroom caps instead you get slices of mushrooms some tiny that aren't even breaded properly. If you flour then egg THEN breadcrumb the coating stays on . These didn't hold their coating at all . However the drinks ,even the iced tea ,were delicious. I had a mango margarita that was unbelievably good .

Yuengling Golden Pilsner on tap- which is ALWAYS a good thing!

Because it is so close to home, always trying to give this place a shot. Service and atmosphere have certainly improved from past visits. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Yuengling Golden Pilsner on tap and it was cold!! My bacon cheeseburger came out quickly and was a standard, frozen, round burger but it was good and serviceable. The straight fries had a nice pepper seasoning on them but were cold. I didn't enjoy having to ask to get my silverware, ketchup, and napkins. It seems, from this visit, however, that Wings etc. Seems to be getting better from past experiences and that is good.

Came in having heard good and bad, and overall, it was very average…read more Pros - Boneless wings are made from scratch! (I got Louisiana hot honey and their secret sauce, both of which were very good). Also got fries that weren't bad. - Lots of TVs to watch college football - Price wasn't terrible for what you get Cons - Noise...louder than Bdubs with 1/3 the people - Service was slow and inconsistent. If you aren't sitting at the bar and want a refill, just go to the bar, it'll be easier - Food was lukewarm when we got it - Semi-clean Random, but almost saw a fight break out over the ending of a football game, so there was that...

"Wanted a Home Run... Got Benched Instead"…read more I rarely visit Big League, but I gave it a shot yesterday after hearing about their pizza special -- two 14" two-topping pizzas for around $10.95 each. I called in my order: one pepperoni + green olives, one pepperoni + BBQ drizzle. The woman on the phone confirmed it exactly as I said. All seemed good. I showed up early to grab a drink and was excited to try a Trauma Llama Ding Dong from Teays River Brewing (which I specifically chose this spot for)... only to be told the draft system was down. Bummer #1. Not the end of the world, but still disappointing when it was part of my reason for picking Big League. Fast forward to me getting home, excited for pizza -- only to open the box and find black olives instead of green. I called back and asked, "Do you guys have green olives?" She shouted to the back, confirmed they did, then offered the world's flattest "oops." She said the system only lists "olives" without clarifying color. Well... then maybe mention that when someone specifically requests green olives? To be fair, I didn't raise a huge fuss, but I was genuinely disappointed. I'd driven across town, skipped my draft beer, and really had my hopes up for that salty green olive/pepperoni combo. The pizza itself? Decent. But the lack of attention to detail and the "oopsie teehee" attitude from staff didn't leave me eager to come back. Big League? You might wanna tighten up the lineup. Service matters, and little things like draft beer and correct toppings go a long way. Edit: I had a little more fun with this version because... well, laughter is therapy. Enjoy -- "Big League... Minor League Vibes." Decided to give Big League a try because they had a decent pizza deal -- two 14" two-topping pies for like $11 each. Sounds like a win, right? I called in my order: * One pepperoni with green olives * One pepperoni with BBQ drizzle The gal on the phone repeated it back perfectly. I was optimistic. That was my first mistake. I drive clear across town (I don't live close) because I'd heard their pizza was good and they serve Teays River beer on draft. Specifically went in hoping for a pint of Trauma Llama Ding Dong -- yes, that's really the name and yes, I wanted it in my hand. Walked in and was hit with: "Ohhh sorry, our draft system is down." No trauma llama. Just trauma. Still trying to salvage the mood, I take my bottled consolation beer and head home with my pizzas... only to open the box and be greeted by... black olives. Not the green ones I asked for. Not the green ones she confirmed on the phone. Just a sad, briny disappointment staring back at me. So I call, and I'm like, "Hey, do y'all have green olives?" She yells across the kitchen: "Do we have green olives?" Then goes, "Yeah we do -- we just have to cut 'em up ourselves." OH OK COOL COOL COOL, so you had them... just not where they needed to be -- ON MY PIZZA. Her excuse? "Well our system just says 'olives.' It doesn't say what kind." Girl. Giiiiiirl. If your ordering system is vague and I'm being specific, maybe mention that? Maybe don't serve me a surprise topping roulette? I didn't order a mystery pizza. This ain't the Olive Lottery. The worst part? She gave me that high-pitched "oh noooo, sowwy heehee" energy like she was trying out for a Disney Channel reboot instead of owning the mistake. Bottom line: I wanted draft beer and green olives. I got a bottled beer and a black olive betrayal. The pizza wasn't bad -- just not what I asked for. And I'm not mad... just mildly unhinged and writing Yelp reviews to cope. Big League? More like Little Effort. Get it together, y'all.

Big League Sports Bar & Grill - Chicken and Waffle Sammy. Good taste, but the waffle-as-a-bun was very dry and fell apart quickly.
