I've been here several times and never had a bad meal. Get the chicken lips - experiment with flavors and heat level. I'd recommend the jerk and strangely the honey mustard. Good beer and wine selection, relaxed small town bar atmosphere. Among the fairly limited dining options in Hermann, this place ranks near the top. Worth a try if you're in town. read more

Wings were fine...we had the naked wings with sauce on the side...Cole slaw was inedible...fries were cold and chewy. Atmosphere was interesting...the tv screens with the beer menu on it gave it a Taco Bell feel...otherwise it sort of felt like a dive. No full bar here. If we go to Church on Saturday, we are always going to the Wing Place after. Mark (the best Bartender ever) is just what makes the place our favorite. We love the wings but we so enjoy talking to Mark. If he is on vacation; the experience is just not the same for us. If we had a business, we would try to get him to work for us. If you love wings, this is the place in Hermann!! So many choices - sauces and such, plus chicken lips if you don't want to mess with the bones! Decor (airplanes/history) interesting. Varied menu. Catfish dinner a plus (but not a plate?). Cheeseburger = ehh. Server pleasant. (wish the "you-guys" word could vanish.) Would try again for just a beer and some wings. read more

If I could give no stars, I would.The absolute worst food I've had in years. We came in as a group of 5 after pleasant visits to area wineries during the day. Everyone's food was horrible, no one ate it, we complained to the waitress who could not have cared less. She never said 'sorry' or 'let me try to fix it', she did however, happily take our money. I have eaten at Wings A-blazin about a half dozen times over the past two years. I almost always have wings, and they are consistently good. They are not very spicy, but that is how I like them. The sides have been very good. The food has always been served with minimal delay. The service has always been friendly and efficient. I am usually there for lunch, so there has never been a wait for a table. On my last visit the fine service that I have come to expect was greatly exceeded. At some point during my meal, my money clip fell out of my pocket onto the bench of the booth. I did not notice it, as I paid by credit card. Later in the afternoon, I noticed it missing, but thought it had been lost somewhere else. The staff found it, correlated the initials with the credit card, found my home phone number, and left a message to give them a call. It was returned to me with the cash still in it. My husband and I took a motorcycle ride to Hermann. I looked up places to dine while we would be there. This place is definately worth finding. It is right off the main road coming into Hermann on 4 th street. We had the wings , cheesy fries, and beer. The wings are heaven. Crispy, flavorful and delicious. I had the jerk wings, hubby had the honey bbq. Cheesy fries are to die for, YUM! wings are sold by the pound so a pound is like 7-8 wings, 1 1/2 pounds 10-11 wings etc. Very unique place with the decor obviously planes etc. Will def go back. My husband and I have been coming here for years. We used to absolutely love this place. However, the last 2 times we have visited I have been disappointed. The wings are poorly sauced. They are very small. The best thing is the staff and the beer. I want you to go back to the bigger pieces of the boneless wings and sauce them more evenly. read more

We went around 4:00 so it wasn't too busy. Our server was very friendly, making recommendations on food and places to go--even making small talk. As a traditional wings guy, I stayed safe with hot honey bbq wings (there are about half a dozen flavors or so, each coming in about half a dozen levels of hot--from not to way hot). Although they did not disappoint, I admit the garlic-parmesan wings that my wife ordered were even better. We got the house fries, which were fine: dip them in the wing sauce. The wings were large, but not monstrous, and cooked about as well as wings can be cooked. Interior was a bit greasy-spoon, but the friendly service and good food make up for it. Had the fried dill pickles, delicious. The wings were okay. I tried the Crispin Hard Cider, but she said they HAD to serve it with ice which, who wants ice in their malt liquor? I asked if I could have it without and she said that she just wouldn't put more in my glass once I finished it. Well, I finished it and I was done with my meal before she came back to refresh my glass. After she brought the checks, she disappeared. We waited for about 15-20 minutes, before I got fed up, took everyone's checks, walked up to the take out counter and had a different server process everything. Our server then came and interrupted to finish up and stated that her manager was supposed to be helping with tables but was in the back room on the phone talking. Our server had since taken on 4/5 other tables, which is why she never made it back to us. Poor management of patrons. What started out as a pleasant experience quickly turned upsetting. read more

We eat here about every 3rd weekend and LOVE IT :-) Service is always great, food is always YUMMY, and the atmosphere is really cool. If they're busy when you get there and you have to wait for a table, as soon as one is available - someone is cleaning it and you're seated. Everything we've ever gotten has been awesome. My husband took me out for my birthday last night and we decided on Wings A Blazin. We have always enjoyed our time at this establishment and frequent it often. In our party was my husband, our seven year old, our seven month old, and I. When we came in the door we were "greeted" by a bearded plump man in a maroon Wings A Blazin shirt. No "Hey guys" no "Hello" just a growly.."how many?". He turned and began walking towards the back of the restaurant then up the steps. We were unsure if we should follow or not. I am uncertain if there were any tables available downstairs but we were not asked if upstairs was O.K., considering we have a baby in tow. When we get to the top of the stairs he actually threw each menu on the table and walked back down the stairs. He didn't ask if the table was O.K. or say that our sever was on the way. We were treated like a huge inconvenience. The food was WONDERFUL and our waitress was fine. Then it came time to pay....Mr. maroon shirt again. He impatiently grabbed my husband's payment no smile, no thanks, looking down and annoyed the whole time. Our receipt printed and he threw it and a pen down. He didn't ask us to sign, just stood there like he didn't have time to serve us or that he was too important to deal with us. We love the food here and hope to come back but this experience was a real let down. We don't ask to be treated like Kings but it hurts to be treated like you're not an appreciated customer. read more
