What really sets this place apart is the fact that they have sides and desserts that make you feel like you have to choose between them and your sandwich. Pro tip: You don't. The owner makes her own coffee blends, breads, and pastries. You may find prices to be a bit high, but once you receive your order, you know why....and it's WORTH it. The sandwiches come on either the homemade sourdough bread or homemade baguette. Things like dragon fruit pickled onions on a ham and gruyere sandwich really add to the quality and freshness. The coffees with cold cheese cold foam (YES--CHEESE) are delicious. The foam adds a rich, creamy layer that you can watch swirl like a lava lamp in your cup, with an added tinge of saltiness. The croissants are not standard croissants that are super light and airy, however, they are clearly made with high quality ingredients and my friend, who orders croissants everywhere we go, loves them. This is one of my favorite places for coffee, breakfast pastry or sandwich, or lunch. Everyone I take there loves it too.

This is my new favorite breakfast place. The interior is…read morebig and bright, somewhat loud. Big TVs showed football, so if you want a quiet omelette, this isn't the place. The menu is large, with savory and sweet, and out server Eda was excellent and attentive. The table was set up with plenty of condiments and lots of half-and-half, which was was great. I usually have to ask for extra. I ordered coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. When the juice arrived, a large glass, I almost downed it at once, it was soooo good. The place has a full bar, and they offer a tasting sampler of four spiked iced coffees - fun! One problem with the menu - the omelettes are all four egg! That's huge. I was afraid to order one, thinking that I'd waste half. I got the basic two eggs with sides (with "potatoe" written on the receipt, ha!) When it arrived, it was clearly more than two eggs, perfectly scrambled. The wife ordered avocado toast, which was a beautiful presentation. It was DIY, with unadorned toast, a little bowl full of avocado topping, additional sliced avocado, two sliced hard boiled eggs (the menu said it would be one - see a pattern here?) and crispy hash browns on the side, instead of fruit. Everything was delicious and well presented. I can't wait to try more dishes there, but come hungry!

So, it seems like they weren't paying attention to the wait list at all. Food was ok. We tried the coffee, vanilla iced latte, french toast combo (sausage and over medium eggs), chocolate chip pancakes with side of bacon, and chicken fried steak. Coffee was nice and hot, if not a bit strong. Iced latte wasn't sweet enough. All the meals came out piece meal by other people besides our server. Literally we had at least 3 different people bringing us 1 plate of an item at a time. We had to ask for our missing items about 5x, if not more. 2 of us got served most of their breakfast except the toast at the beginning. Then the pancakes arrived without the bacon. Then french toast without any syrup. Then the eggs and sausage for the french toast combo. And then the bacon never showed up. In the end we just asked for it to be put in a to-go container cause everyone had finished already. The chicken fried steak wasn't as good as black bear diner's. The gravy was ok, though a bit gritty. The eggs and hasbrowns were warm, and mostly cooked correctly. But they didn't get to eat their eggs with the toast, which was disappointing. The chocolate chip pancakes were a little too chocolatey, so my recc is to ask for no chocolate syrup on it (unless you like that). And the eggs that came with the combo french toast were disappointingly cold while the sausage was warm. It doesn't make sense when you have to wait for the item and they don't come out fresh and hot. All in all it was a bit of a disappointing 1st time experience. We may try again 1 more time, but REALLY hope management changes how they have the food delivery system. It really did not work at all.
