Very PROCESSED chicken.
Jenifer G.

The sauces are good but I expected the boneless wings to be like tenders rather than nuggets. I didn't want even more processing to the chicken. I will ask at the next wing place what "boneless" means because I want something closer to the texture of chicken. In fact it's weird that the honey gold were more chicken Like than the lemon pepper. Hmmmm.

Wings are the best around and have been for years! Try the Kentucky Bourbon or the Honey Gold. Fries are seasoned well, but always soggy. That's okay, nobody goes there for the fries anyways. The place has received new paint, floors, and decor since the last time I went but is still a little dirty. I don't mind it though. The people provide good service and are kind. Food is prepared fresh to order so it takes about 25 minutes, but it's worth the wait.

Wing Basket Restaurant If you're looking for something a little different this is the place. The place is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. Sports are always on. The food is good & the service is quick. However the ladies bathroom was out of tissue!

Crispy wings with the best sauce flavors. My go to is the honey gold or the mild. The fries are good too.

The lemon pepper and Kentucky bourbon wings taste amazing. I order takeout via phone call and it's normally ready in 15 or 20 minutes.

My favorite bagel in town! I lived in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania as a sprout, so you…read morecan imagine my pretentiousness when it comes to bagels. I love a perfectly executed bagel in the same way that Dale Cooper loves a damn fine cup of coffee. As such, I had kind of given up hope to find an actual bagel in town. Other spots came close, but I always just felt like I was settling. However, Mr. Aaron's Goods does it soooo right. We finally have a bagel in Nashville with the right crust and texture! Would love to see a vegan bagel sandwich on the menu in the future!

Bagels are my birthright…read more I am a New Jerseyan / New Yorker that left the godless north for Nashville 10+ years ago. I was so afraid I would never have another good bagel again that I literally took bagel-baking classes at the Culinary Institute of America. I was right to be scared. For years, Nashville bagels were just bread donuts. Soft circles of steamed sadness committing breakfast fraud. The kind of thing someone hands you and says, "It's basically the same," right before you question every decision that led you south. Then this place showed up. It started as a pop-up inside TKO, R.I.P., and now it has taken over the whole space. This place gets it right. The bagels are boiled, rolled, baked, chewy, crusty, and spiritually accurate. Not "good for Nashville." Not "pretty close." Just really freaking good bagels. No apologies needed. The place looks the way a bagel shop is supposed to look. Concrete floors. Friendly chaos. People working hard behind the counter. And the people? That's the real thing. Mr. Aaron, his wife, and the whole crew are amazing. They know your name. They bust your chops. You bust theirs. That is community. That is customer service with a pulse. They even have a Mets fan, which proves their commitment to authenticity and long-term emotional damage. It's the kind of place you want to go every day, if your wallet, doctor, and basic sense of shame weren't constantly trying to ruin your life. Nashville finally has a real bagel place. I do not say that lightly. I say that as a man who has opinions about crust, chew, schmear, water, and most things. But this place rules. Go. Eat. Complain about the Mets. Order another bagel. Repeat.

I went here with a couple of friends. l and didn't feel like I was struggling to talk over other conversations. So it's a a good casual meeting space. I got the seasonal coffee and didn't enjoy it. I ended up adding some simple syrup to try and cover the flavor. My friend got the chai and it was very watery and milky. I love me a good local coffee shop with friendly folks, comfy seating, stellar vibes...and then you add being fully accepting of folks, and you got me for good! Madtown is all of those things plus some. I usually pop by early on weekend mornings to enjoy a cold brew and breakfast wrap while people watching, which gets really good here! The drink menu has a lot of classic coffee drinks plus a few specialty and/or fruit forward blended drinks, but again, most of their focus and expertise is around coffee, even offering pour over! Food menu is solid with a few breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches along with a variety of pastries and baked goods. Overall, Madtown Coffee is a cool spot that I am very happy has a place in the neighborhood. This is one of those places where you can not judge a book by the cover...or immediate area!

When you walk in, you order to the right, next to the drink cooler. They have a smallish seating area with a bar, plenty of space for a sandwich shop, and a big screen tv that was showing a Back to the Future movie. We ordered: - BLT (Thursday it is the Thursday special and comes with fries and a drink for $12) - Cheesesteak (obviously) with onions, with cheese wiz as the Lord intended - Mozzarella Jawns - I've never heard of that before but they're a very wide, sorta flatish cheese stick. I think they are named after an app from Bar Jawn in Manayunk (a Philadelphia neighborhood). Took it to go. It comes with house made chips and I ate those most of the way home. I'm normally not a fan of house made kettle style chips but these were great! Too salty for my husband but just right for me so your mileage may vary. The hot out of the fryer mozzarella and fries did not fare well on the 12 minute drive home but when I got to the house I popped them in the air fryer and they crisped back up to perfection. My husband had the BLT and he said it was delicious. The bacon was a little more crisp than he does it for himself but that's a personal preference thing. The tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh. As a BLT aficionado, he was a fan. The real star here was the cheesesteak. My husband said "this is better than the cheesesteaks I've had in Philadelphia" and he was not wrong. The meat was cooked perfectly, chopped and tender. Seasoned but not so much that the onions couldn't shine. Onions were browned and lightly softened, not soggy. The bread was delicious, soft and soaked in their homemade cheese wiz. Their cheese wiz? A national treasure. If I could order it by the tub I would and I'd never struggle to get my kids to eat their veggies again. It's that good. The whole thing was a 12/10. I have pictures but they're blurry because I couldn't sit the sandwich down long enough to photograph it so I'll rely on others for that. TL;DR - Go get a cheesesteak.
