Service was great and the food was delicious we wanted our wings cooked well done and they did a great job on them will visit again soon.

Wings are the best around and have been for years! Try the Kentucky Bourbon or the Honey Gold. Fries are seasoned well, but always soggy. That's okay, nobody goes there for the fries anyways. The place has received new paint, floors, and decor since the last time I went but is still a little dirty. I don't mind it though. The people provide good service and are kind. I was in the Nashville area and was craving wings. I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. It is a small place with just a few tables. It seems most people order food to go. I decided on a side of fries and 10 traditional wings in a Classic Hot sauce. They were piping hot when I got back to my hotel. The wings were crispy and coated thoroughly with some good heat. Love wing basket have been eating there for years due to my job being close. Today I was in and received a unsatisfactory meal. When I called to inform them the employee stated It was just a little brown and I need to bring my food to prove it was burned. Being a nurse my lunch breaks are short and I wasn't able to do so. My coworker suggested we try this place for lunch, so we headed over there around noon. It was not busy when we got there, but within the next 30 minutes almost 10 people came in, so be careful during lunch time. I had looked at the menu before arriving, so I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the Meal Deal #2, which is 10 wings (traditional or boneless), your choice of Ranch or Blue Cheese, fries, and a fountain drink. I also got the potato salad. Altogether, I paid almost $16 for average wings. I can't say I will be returning. The flavor of the sauces was good, but not unlike sauces at other restaurants. The chicken was a little overcooked, but bearable. The potato salad was a little on the sweeter side, which is how I prefer it. All the other reviews mention great customer service, but it didn't stand out to me. I would suggest this place if you want to support local businesses and enjoy fried chicken. Not happy with anything, but the sweet heat. I recently moved to Nashville from Memphis TN, where we have a wing shop around ever corner. So, I have had some pretty good and pretty bad wings before, these made the pretty bad list. The wings were extremely greasy, so were the fries. The chicken was very fatty, and tasted like cheap, low quality meat. The sauce was lacking in flavor. The fries actually would have been good, if they weren't so soggy from the grease. Oh, and I couldn't forget how rude the guy who took my order was. He acted as if I were bothering him when he answered the phone. Should have stop there and went somewhere else. Wing were good. The tenders are more of a tenderloin than a chicken tender. Food was cooked to order instead of sitting under a warmer till needed. They use habanero in their buffalo sauces so even the mild has a kick to it. The people were nice over all, and very helpful. I only have one small complaint, that is the fries were greasy. This is very normal with "natural cut" fries that are real potato. The reason I say it as a complaint it that they could have been a little less greasy if drained better or cooked in hotter oil. The wings here are made in the sort of hole in the wall spot that a true "Wings-eater" would only order their wings from. I order ahead of time and get them to go for a quick meal when I don't feel like cooking and want to eat from home. They're usually done in about 15-20 min. The staff is friendly as well. My favorite wings are the lemon pepper wings. I'm not a fan of sloppy dripping wet wings and their lemon pepper spread provides a really nice crispy taste. I swear I can eat these once a week and never tire. My 2nd favorite are the Kentucky bourbon. It's a nice combination of sweet and tangy. I don't drink alcohol, but something about adding bourbon or whiskey to things make it taste just...better! Walked in and (who I assume was) the manager was absolutely screaming at the kitchen employees. All of the employees were yelling at each other and it was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Ordered delivery online via THE RESTAURANT'S website. Order clearly showed two of an item but delivery showed up with only one. Called to report the issue. Was told by the "just an employee" that she knew it said two but I wasn't charged for it so she didn't send it. Except, I WAS charged for it (because off course I was, it's a computer!). This place..... I am so disappointed.. I call these guys last night @ 8:09 pm and place a small order for 10 wings. Half buffalo and half lemon pepper. The young lady told me in 15 mins my wings would be ready. I pulled in the parking lot about 5 mins later and waited in the car for my wings to get ready. So I go in about 8:30 and my wings were not ready. She told me it would be a few minutes. After about 5 minutes I hear this old guy in the back say "tell her it's going to be about 7 minutes because we forgot to drop her wings". Now I'm getting upset... so after another 15 mins of waiting on wings they bring me my wings. 5 lemon pepper and 5 sweet heat. Keep in mind, that mine were 5 lemon pepper and 5 buffalo.. so at this point I asked for my money back. I told her I refused to wait another 30 minutes for 10 wings. The guy in the back got upset because I wanted my money back.. but I couldn't have cared less, just give me my money so I can go.... This was a bad experience, but the worst was what I saw one of the guys in the back doing.. This older guy who was saucing the wings, stuck his fingers inside the bowl of sauce and ate a piece of the chicken skin that had dropped in the sauce and then wiped his licked on fingers on this dirty towel around his waist... This guy did this not once, but twice then just sits the bowl of sauce back on the shelf for the next batch of wings to coat. This was my favorite go to place for wings. However when the going gets tough they always seem to fail. Like today, it's Super Bowl Sunday and they are busy, I get that but at the same time if you are in the race be in it to win it! Don't serve less than your best because you are busy. I ordered a family pack lemon pepper. If there was lemon pepper flavoring on that chicken I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. Love the wings.they have a crunch on the outside and moist and cooked in the middle. I like the sweet/warm sauce on them. The price is reasonable service is good and fast. So, I actually created an account just to write about the consistently sub par experiences I've had at Wingbasket. I'm only going to discuss tonight's experience, however. There seems to be a common denominator regarding the lack of service. Tonight, I ordered a number two. The man took my order and I sat down off to the side to watch the OKC game. Twenty minutes then thirty.... Going up to the counter, I see a plastic bag. And I asked about the status of my meal. He said it was ready and set the bag on the counter. Rather than eat soggy wings and fries, which was apparently "...no big deal...," I opted for a refund. The man refunding my order wasn't rude, but I wasted at least 35 minutes just waiting for nothing except getting my money back. Wingbasket really needs to improve employee behavior and service generally, as they're in direct competition with Wingstop in Nashville. Simply having a script for employees to follow would be wonderful, just to gather the appropriate information. Customer service 101: set and then meet customer expectations. read more
