I had a craving for hot chicken, so we gave BJ Hot Chicken in Mt. Juliet a try. This place seems to have become pretty popular since its opening. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and we didn't have a long wait for our food. My husband and I both went with chicken tenders and potato salad. The tenders had good flavor and the mild seasoning had just the right amount of heat for us. The potato salad was the perfect side to cool your palate between bites of hot chicken. For dessert my husband got an Oreo ice cream bar, and I enjoyed the couple bites he shared with me. I'm glad we now have a tasty option for hot chicken in Mt. Juliet!

I love Nashville hot chicken and BJ's doesn't disappoint. This one is new in the area. I've been going to the one in Lebanon since it opened but came to this one in the Providence area tonight. The chicken is good. I always get a quarter breast the first time I go somewhere because if you can do that right the rest will fall in line. When they brought my order out I had two breast because they said they were small. They weren't that small but I did eat them. Now that's customer service. The restaurant has plenty of seating and loved the 80's music they were playing. Come check them out if you live in the area make it a regular place.

Went to visit this gem the other day. The location is very convenient being in the Providence area of Mount Juliet. Psst.. a liquor store is also next door. I ordered 6 winglets (lemon pepper) with one side (fries). I also requested to have all flats with hot sauce on the side. The wings were fried hard (without asking) which I appreciated, and the fries were seasoned perfectly. For the chicken, they have several different flavors to choose from. The service was quick, and the extra requests were handled without any problems. The restaurant was very clean and has outdoor seating. I will definitely revisit this gem of a place again. Ohhhh... and they have ice cream bars (popsicles) for dessert, but I didn't get the chance to try any of them.

Mac & Cheese Bowl with mild heat. Wife rated it 8/10. She said she would order it again.

I've eaten at quite a few Hot Chicken places and from what I tried today, this place can contend with any of them. They have 5 levels of heat, no heat, Lemon Pepper or Garlic Parmesan. You can get your Tenders fried or grilled. I got the Breast Quarter with Medium heat and it was perfectly cooked and the crust was just right on the crispy side. The staff were friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. This restaurant just opened about a month ago, so the interior is new and clean. They offer 2 apps, Tenders, Wings, Quarters, Catfish Sandwich, 2 Desserts along with Sides. They had a few Beers on tap. It's worth checking out if you want some Hot Chicken and it is reasonably priced.

This chicken was PERFECT. Someone in the back was cooking UP. Much better than slims or Chick fil A. Came around 5 pm, got served up quick. Very chill place, they got two big flatscreens which is always nice.

Great chicken and sides! Beer was a plus! I would recommend to anyone in the area wanting hot chicken.

You're better off going to Kroger. Buying a bag of Tyson chicken strips. Some frozen crinkle fries and some cheap buns.

But I have to say something about this ridiculous breakfast/lunch system. We sat down at 10:22 this morning. Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen. Until then, I guess I'll just stare at my wife for 30 minutes and contemplate my life choices. Great food. Great place. Absolutely ridiculous system.

Public Service Announcement -- They aren't closing, but they are moving to Donelson in June 2026. I didn't know until today when we stopped in for lunch. They will be changing the name to Asian Cajun. I will be going to the new spot after they get settled in. That being said I'm going to go ahead and do this review as it's still going to be the same food and owners when they move. This is an Asian/LA seafood fusion restaurant. They serve Thai Apps, Salads, Soups, Wok Fried Noodles, Fried Rice, Stir Fry, Thai Curries, Fresh Shellfish, Sandwiches, weekend Seafood Boils and Boba Teas. They do Catering, also. They also serve some Cajun dishes like Gator Bites, Oysters, Gumbo, Po Boys and more. I will definitely be visiting the new spot in a few months. I think I will review some of the Cajun dishes when I go. Ohhh-- BTW-- They do have a small market selling Frozen Meats and different types of fish like Mahi, Perch, Redfish, Shellfish and Octopus.

I almost passed…read moreit looking for a stand alone restaurant but it is in the same building as the gas station. When you walk in, you order to the right, next to the drink cooler. They have a smallish seating area with a bar, plenty of space for a sandwich shop, and a big screen tv that was showing a Back to the Future movie. We ordered: - BLT (Thursday it is the Thursday special and comes with fries and a drink for $12) - Cheesesteak (obviously) with onions, with cheese wiz as the Lord intended - Mozzarella Jawns - I've never heard of that before but they're a very wide, sorta flatish cheese stick. I think they are named after an app from Bar Jawn in Manayunk (a Philadelphia neighborhood). Took it to go. It comes with house made chips and I ate those most of the way home. I'm normally not a fan of house made kettle style chips but these were great! Too salty for my husband but just right for me so your mileage may vary. The hot out of the fryer mozzarella and fries did not fare well on the 12 minute drive home but when I got to the house I popped them in the air fryer and they crisped back up to perfection. My husband had the BLT and he said it was delicious. The bacon was a little more crisp than he does it for himself but that's a personal preference thing. The tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh. As a BLT aficionado, he was a fan. The real star here was the cheesesteak. My husband said "this is better than the cheesesteaks I've had in Philadelphia" and he was not wrong. The meat was cooked perfectly, chopped and tender. Seasoned but not so much that the onions couldn't shine. Onions were browned and lightly softened, not soggy. The bread was delicious, soft and soaked in their homemade cheese wiz. Their cheese wiz? A national treasure. If I could order it by the tub I would and I'd never struggle to get my kids to eat their veggies again. It's that good. The whole thing was a 12/10. I have pictures but they're blurry because I couldn't sit the sandwich down long enough to photograph it so I'll rely on others for that. TL;DR - Go get a cheesesteak.

Customization is standard at most delicious, but it seems to be frowned on here. No chips or pickle spear served with the sandwiches, even at $10+ for a HALF sandwich. And they forgot about the fries we ordered - even after I reminded the chef when he delivered the sandwiches. Tasty food but very expensive and they sure didn't seem to care that they goofed up our order. Yes, they reluctantly reversed the charge on the fries, but somehow they seemed upset with us for mentioning the omission. Sorry, but at these prices we'll just go elsewhere.
