I believe it was the chef's wife. She was charming, knowledgeable and did not lead us astray. The food? Magical. Pad kee mao - mild or medium depending on your taste - has that aromatic basil and those perfectly cooked yet still crunchy vegetables. Large flat noodles that fill you up! The green curry is a staple, also decent spice but that creamy coconut and the chicken, green peppers and bamboo shoots work together so well. On a bed of rice, it's delicious. We also tried a new offering of their chicken in eggplant boat with rice. It was SO good. The chicken is minced and has a nice spice level to it. The eggplant is soft and just goes so well with the chicken, spice and rice. Service is always on point - friendly people, food comes out hot and quick.
