Came to try their lunch special menu that has a wide range of dishes ranging from 11-15$. The ambiance was a bit dim but it was fine for us since we came at noon. Unfortunately, the service was quite mediocre. It took a while for someone to finally come to our table to take our order and we had to ask multiple times for water even though it wasn't that busy. We ordered the Green Curry Chicken Rice, Basil Chicken Rice, Grilled Garlic Chicken Rice, and their Chicken Pad Thai. The Green Curry was really creamy and had a strong curry flavor and the chicken was all quite tender in all 4 dishes. The pad thai was a bit too tangy for my taste. Everything was good/decent but not spectacular and the portion sizes were quite standard. Not large but not small either. Overall: great place for a quick, affordable lunch. Not the best Thai food, but it's great for the price. Also the washroom is downstairs and is not easily accessible. I probably won't come back again just because there are so many other great Thai restaurants in the city.

This is the original location! I would start by saying arrive earlier because the parking lot can become chaotic and you may have to wait for a spot. The restaurant is nicely lit and adorned with Thai decorations. I highly recommend trying out the Tom yum soup, it if flavourful and serves as a great mini appetizer for your meal. Honourable mentions: fried fish with tamarind, crab fried rice and pad sew ew. Dishes to Skip: -Pad Thai if you prefer traditional tamarind based sauces, we found this dish to be ketchup heavy. -Tapioca dessert- was dense and low on coconut flavour As for service, waiters and staff were pleasant, always around to help and we were reminded a few times by different waiters that the seating limit was 2hrs. To start, we had reservations for 7p and arrived at 6:50pm. (We finished and paid in about 1hr 30) I completely understand seating limits for busy restaurants but there were no other reservations after ours and the place was empty when we left (8:30pm on a Friday). I would say staff should use discretion when to keep reminding a table to leave, it ruin the service experience.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Chef's specials were great - had the eggplant and the seafood Tom yum. Both were very flavourful. Great service and friendly staff. Cozy ambiance.

Flavours were good and nice portions. The pad see eew was nice and the pad Thai was also lovely. The kao soi also presented well.

    Khao soi & red curry

Had a really good experience taking my mom here for dinner tonight (on a Thursday). I got the khao soi and my mom got the red curry. Both dishes had generous portions... we were particular surprised with the curry dish since they usually come in a small dish with rice on the side based on our past experiences at Thai restaurants. But the curry dish here came in a large plate with a decent amount of meat. I really enjoyed my khao soi. It was tasty, the beef I got it with was soft and tender, and the presentation of the floating noodle was a nice added touch. The service was also great -- food came fast and while the servers didn't particular explicitly come to check on us, you could tell they were keeping an eye out. They've decorated the space for Christmas... it's really cozy and cute and has a warm ambiance to it. I didn't even realize they had another room towards the back so it seems they have a decent amount of seating. Overall, we were both impressed.

We went there on a hot day. In the restaurant, it was lack of AC, the temperature level just like a hot day in a restaurant in Bangkok Thailand without the AC as well. The food is mediocre. I am not sure if I would come back again. It is out of our ways and there were other thai food places we could try. I could see they have put a lot of effort in dish plating. I will give them that.

Consistently delicious! I've been to this location so many times over almost a decade and they never disappoint. I really like the variety of dishes and the fact that they have specials. Their drinks are very good and affordably priced! I had the duck red curry the last time I was there and it was very nice. Always a good time here with good service and consistent food quality. Can be hard to find parking sometimes!

Came here with a bunch of people. It looked small but we were sat in the back area which is surprisingly bigger than expected. They had cool decorations on the wall. The food came fairly quick and was hot. We ordered a few things and drinks as well. My partner and I got the pad see ew and the pad Thai. Our group also ordered the khao soi, pad kee mao, tom kha, and the cold rolls. We tried the sangria, the regular Thai iced tea, and the lemon one. The food was decent for the price, it was not bad. But I think the flavours were a bit lacking for the pad Thai. I enjoyed the pad see ew more. It was okay but I would come back and try it again.

We stopped in here after perusing the local Yelp reviews. Service was extremely fast and our server was very friendly. We were in and out in 35-45 minutes. I had the Pad Thai with chicken which was good and enough for 2 meals (for me). I personally would have preferred more peanuts and a little less of the spicey flavoring, but that's just personal opinion. My son ordered the same dish and thought it was an excellent 5/5.

Good quality and portion ratio to price is definitely reasonable. They have a lunch special that is 11am-3pm, that usually costs $11-13 per dish. Hard to find a solid Thai spot in Scarborough, but I think I found mine! Mango salad is my recommendation with a nice thai iced tea.

This restaurant has the best Thai food, great lunch special from 1130-3pm Service is good? But hard to find parking, the only not good about this restaurant is the washroom is located downstairs, for elder seniors not too good and safe But they also have a restaurant location on middlefield which is much better

    Jatujak street style Thai place
    Philip L.

Finally got a chance to try this Jatujak. It's a street-style Thai food eatery. Quite good compare to their Scarborough location (Steeles & Middlefield)! Pla Rad Prik - deep fried fish fillet with spicy sauce. Amazing! This fish fillet was really hot hot hot! Freshly prepared, so crunchy. Great Thai chili flavor gave out great excitement. Tender fillet and yet not mushy. The use of green peppercorn gave very good flavor yet not overly powered the sauce. It was an amazing dish. Must try. Mango Sticky Rice - interesting combination of mango, warm rice, and coconut condensed milk. The mild sweetness blended so well with the mango. Quite filling. It's a dessert meant to be shared with friends and families. We also ordered some other dishes and Thai iced milk tea. They were so so. With this price, I am pleased with this restaurant and will go back to try other dishes in the future.

The food portion was not too good but the taste was really yum. Loved their tom yum soup which was a right mix of tanginess with perfect balance of lemongrass in it. The fried rice was also really good but the star of the show was their mango sticky rice desert which was a perfect end to our meal! Absolutely loved this desert.

    Chicken pad thai. Huge portion!

The restaurant has a lot of smaller tables, making it feel cozy, and the service was super friendly. I ordered the dry boat noodles with egg noodles and they were so good.
