A delicious buffalo chicken wing is good to find! What the "Wing Shack" offers, in essence, is a decent wing, plain and simple. The standard is a large crispy drummette slathered in a buttery beautiful brightly colored orange-red cayenne sauce. "Wing Shack" wings are on the smaller side, but they do offer a satisfactory and savory chicken piece. We ordered a 25 count special which comes with a small basket of seasoned fries, a basket of celery (unpleasantly brown) and four drinks at a reasonable price. The wings and fries was prepared hot and fresh and served surprisingly quick. The quality of what "Wing Shack" is offering is tasty and filling. The "Wing Shack" space is small, cold, with loud acoustics. While you can dine in, it would seem the interior is designed with pick-up orders in mind. An invisible layer of grease covers most everything in the small dining area. The service was kind and respectful. While the staff is limited, the employees were actively waiting on customers, cleaning, and cooking. An extended compliment to the "Wing Shack" team. The restaurant is a reliable go-to for anyone who likes buffalo style chicken wings. I give it three out of five clucks based on the tasty wings, excellent service, and a good value. I decided to stop by their new location in Windsor. Very spacious and inviting. Max was the person at the counter, and could not have been nicer. He explained everything to a newbie. Someone asked him if he was the owner, and he commented "no just a worker". But the way he handled each person was manager or if not owner quality. He seemed to have pride in his job, which is a rarity these days. Kudos to Max, and the servers, and everyone checking to see if everything was Ok, was a breath of fresh air. This place rocks! The garlic hot is great, as is hotter if you like it hotter. I like to get mine "Extra Saucy." My wife does not like spicy things, but she really likes the barely hot. The blue cheese dressing is nice and chunky and the onion rings are to die for! They have a drive thru for pickup and you can order on their app. Make sure to google for coupons as there are some discounts to be had, including codes to us on the app. Lunch specials are a better deal. Also you can buy discount gift cards at Sams club. (But it does not seem that you can use any gift card on their app.) The reason for four stars, and not five? Where do I start? Whether you order online, call, or go in, staff is friendly and responsive. They have a decent selection of flavors for such a small establishment. Not a ton of options other than wings that are worth having besides the wrap, which is pretty good (you can pick your sauce). We order our wings extra crispy. Great wings! I have been going here for more than a year. I have had almost everything on the menu. I would definitely recommend the wings, of course, but specifically "hot". I'm okay with heat and this is the perfect level. My wife likes hot food and gets the "garlic hot". Both are excellent. "Bear hot" is painfully hot and I would try 1 or the sauce before ordering more than 5 but they are excellent. I could only handle 1. I've tried all the wing flavors and would recommend all based on personal taste. Appertizers and extras are typical for a wing place. I have only had great experiences. Go here for Great food, good wait times, ease of location, and great staff. I've gone to other locations and this one is ideal because of the drive up window convenience and staff. If you live closer to i-25 I would go to this location opposed to the Loveland and Fort Collins locations because you don't have to drive through town and deal with traffic. I found a hair!! At the bottom of my food container mixed in the sauce and stuck on a wing!! I called before placing an order to make sure they were still open due to a snow storm and they were but the lady I talked to said they closed at 8 so I placed it fast and then picked it up. About half way through my food I picked up a wing and a long black hair was attached to it. It was DISGUSTING!!! By the time I found it I believed they were closed or closing so I decided to call the next day about it instead. They put me on hold before even talking to them and when I finally did the boy who answered didn't believe me that there was a hair in my food and said they didnt close at 8 the previous night. He then continues to question me on why I didn't call when u found the hair and I responded with becuase I was told you were closing and was trying to be nice. Great wings! Fairly good prices. They have weekly deals that are ok. I get a little picky when it comes to wings and they have a great flavor. One thing that bothers me with any wing place is that they mix in some pretty weak wings with no meat on it and it always bugs me. But almost all wing places do it. I've been spoiled with finding good wings in my lifetime from a whole variety of places. The Wing Shack is above average in my opinion. They have bone-in and boneless but only the bone-in are worth getting. The boneless are almost soggy and just not the variety I enjoy. The sauces are good, particularly the garlic hot.
