    Asada and Walking tacos
    David N.

I visited on 5/22/25 and tried the asada taco and the walking taco. The walking taco was tasty, though it could've used more meat. The asada taco was a bit disappointing -- the meat was slightly overcooked and not very flavorful. Service was okay but could have been more attentive. The atmosphere was great, and while they have an upstairs area, I didn't get a chance to check it out.

    Elotes

We had a twenty minute wait from the start. We then got sat and waited atleast 20mins for someone to even bring us water let alone menus took another 10mins to arrive to the table. I drank a clear intentions cocktail and it tasted like tobacco and leather. Not a favorite. The margs are very strong as well fair warning. The queso is chunky and resembles clam chowder. Overall very cool atmosphere but personally didn't enjoy the drinks or food very much. The elotes was the one thing I did enjoy and the tacos! We also didn't have the best customer service. We had four different waiters and none of them seemed very happy to be there. We were in on a Tuesday night so I get it it's busy for taco Tuesday. But I don't think that should dismiss poor customer service.

This is one of daughter's favorite taco joints! They have house beers, the food is made to order and the salsa trio appetizer has a great variety for the whole family! The tacos are well made, we prefer flour tortillas, but you can get them in corn as well. When the weather is warm the upstairs patio has beautiful views! If you have a large party plan to go early or call ahead. Overall worth a go!

Love love love this place! Best service from Destiny and Kenny, so attentive. Clean and beautiful restaurant. Love tacos Tuesday ($1 tacos) the hot sauce is amazing! Happy hour is great here too. Definitely will be back again.

Tried to get staff attention without success so stepped into the men's room to grab wet and dry towels to clean up myself. Ugh. Samuel eventually appeared and we ordered drinks for ourselves while waiting for our son and daughter in law. Great beer choices for me - JuicyBits. Decent wine choices. Our daughter in law arrived, ordered a nice red, and she split a Reuben Sandwich with my wife. Both sandwich and fries were very good. I'd ordered the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp. The Shrimp were very nicely done as they're frequently overcooked and tough. But the penne and sauce were only meh. Bit of a disappointment as I've definitely had (and personally made) better. Not too busy for a Friday nite and we were allowed to extend our conversation a bit ... unhurried. Pleasant evening.

My wife and I don't eat out very often, so when we do, it's a big deal. This was supposed to be a…read moredate night, a little "I love you" dinner where neither of us had to cook. Instead, I accidentally took her to intermittent fasting with table service. We both ordered bowls. She got the Pineapple Bowl ($21), and I got the Lazy Dog Bowl ($20). When they arrived, we honestly thought maybe the rest of the meal was still coming. Nope. That was the whole production. Each bowl featured what appeared to be half of a chicken breast. Not "about" half. I mean it genuinely looked like one chicken made the ultimate sacrifice so two entrées could exist. Somewhere in the kitchen a chef is holding a ruler saying, "Easy... if anyone gets an extra bite, corporate loses twelve cents." I've had Costco samples with more commitment. The best part was watching my wife try to convince herself she was full because she didn't want to ruin date night. That's when you know you're in trouble. When your spouse starts chewing slower because she's hoping time will create calories. You know how sometimes you get annoyed when the waiter or manager keeps coming by asking how your meal is and if everything is alright? The good news was that Lazy Dog definitely doesn't have this issue: Nobody asked how the food was. Not our server. Not a manager. Not a passing employee. Not even the emotional support dog I assume inspired the restaurant's name. It was almost as if everyone already knew the answer. The only thing that arrived promptly and confidently was the bill. For over $40, I wasn't expecting to leave stuffed, but I was hoping to leave without wondering whether we should split a cheeseburger at the drive-thru on the way home. I've seen airport salads with a stronger sense of abundance. The food wasn't bad. That's almost what makes it worse. It tasted good enough that I wished there had been... more than six bites of it. Lazy Dog, I came hoping to impress my wife. Instead, you gave us a memorable evening, a shared chicken breast, and the strongest argument we've ever had for eating before we go out.

Sis and I shared a Mediterranean Panini with chicken and no hummus. They actually brought it on two plates and split the fries. Very beautiful presentation. Unfortunately the fries weren't really warm and were kind of blah. But the sandwich itself was tasty. Two friends each had a margarita pizza, which comes on a cauliflower crust. They should've shared it because both took half home! Again, it was a beautiful presentation. They both said it was very tasty. Sis and I each had some tomato soup and it lacked flavor unfortunately. Embassy Suites charges $15 per day for parking. Why this cannot simply be added to the hotel bill is beyond me. After a long day of driving, I could not get the QR code to work at check-in. A staff member suggested the hotel's concrete structure was the cause. Repeated attempts to access the system were frustrating, and the employee admitted they receive frequent complaints about it. I called the number listed under the QR code and got no answer. Frustrated, I even asked to cancel my reservation. A manager eventually stepped in and manually entered my information on a hotel computer. I also dislike having to provide personal information to a third party just to park at a hotel where I am already a paying guest. Reviewing PMC's privacy policy only increased my concerns. If Hilton continues expanding these systems, it will influence where I choose to stay in the future. Aside from the parking issue, the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean and spacious with a 1990s vibe, and the property has a bar, a small gym, and cooked food on-site.
