Your employees are making you lose business. I order from here all the time. Yesterday when I called a new girl answered. I gave my usual lunch order. The 12" two topping pizza for $10. It's a great deal. I ordered two. My total is usually about $23. She told me total was $30. I said they are $10 each how is it $30? She put me on hold and then came back and told me one of my pizza would be $11.99. I said fine no problem. Then she told me my total was $29. I told her $10 and $12 does not equal $29. She just couldn't get it. She kept trying to explain it but it doesn't make sense. I told her I order this all the time what is the problem. I cancelled my order. read more

Pretty good pizza - horrible service First time we ordered from them over the weekend- order placed at 5:47, given a delivery estimate of 6:47. 7:10 rolls around and no sign of pizza. Called in to see where it might be. Eventually told our order was never processed, but that they were putting our pizzas in the oven and we could have them in 25 minutes. Additionally, because of the missed order they would include a new receipt showing a "substantial" discount (I did not ask for this... but we were promised) Pizza finally arrived at 8:10 (20 minutes after the newly promised delivery time) and..., no receipt, no discount ‍ The reason we were given for the mix up was the football game & they were "busy" The pizza was pretty good, but not sure we'll get past the poor service to try them again. read more

Great pizza. The flavor is so good! We have finally found a good pizza place in Loveland.

Tonight was our first time going to this location. The pizza itself was pretty good. We got a standard pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was pretty decent. A little on the greasy side but I don't mind that. The service was not great. We were clearly sitting at a table so we were obviously eating there and the employee comes over drops the boxes on the table and says "have a good night." So I go up to the counter and the kid says "oh you need plates?" Uh yes we need plates because we are obviously there to eat. We then open the pizza box and little to no effort has been put into cutting the pizza so I take it back up and ask them to cut it again. Still failing to cut the pizza the second time it was a little easier to tear. Overall the place isn't that clean and it appears that no one really cares about the dining area. I get this place is in a gas station but I expected a little better. read more

This place is great, but the consistency is not a thing. I also have a hard time getting delivery at times. They are open for another hour but cannot take delivery? Seems like they should have another rule for delivery so the expectation is met. read more

Decided to give this place a try after looking at reviews on a couple of sites and want disappointed with the food and staff. The place is attached to a gas station convienience store but don't let that scare you away. Was promptly welcomed by the staff and asked if any questions. We ended up trying a mango chicken habenero pizza (medium size), garlic knots, and boneless chicken bites. The pizza had a nice crust that was not doughy or too crispy, a decent sauce that was not overpowering to the toppings and a good balance of toppings. Overall a good flavor combination that was even good as a lunch a few days later. The garlic knots had a few over baked spots but overall better than some of the large chains. The chicken bites were not over cooked, still moist, and a good seasoning but not too much that my daughter ate them. Only recommendation to the owner would be some furniture maintenance (fix wobbly tables) but otherwise a great 0lace to get pizza and look forward to trying their other combinations. read more

The food was really good but we lost our appetite after seeing flies flying all over the place and sitting on our food. When a fly lands in your food it isn't eating off of your plate, it is actually vomiting digestive liquids onto the food in order to break it down. Doing this allows them to lap up your food as a liquid meal. read more

We've eaten Pelican Jo's quite a bit in the last year, partially because it's so close to our house. Sometimes we dine in. Sometimes we get it delivered. The first experience was great, which is why we've tended to keep going back. But the quality is increasingly inconsistent. Tonight, the pizza was dry and cold, as if it had been sitting out for hours. The salad was flavorless, some of the lettuce brown and wilted. Two weeks ago, the pizza was great, hot and fresh and tasty. A month before that, they delivered the wrong pizza. When they delivered the right one, it was twice as much sauce and 1/4 the toppings as normal. Your experience is likely to vary. You might have a 5 star dinner. You might have a 1 star lunch. As for me, I won't be buying food here again. read more

Something has changed, and not for the better. We used to look forward to ordering every Friday night. The pepperoni rolls were to die for and we were so pleasantly surprised by the abundant toppings on the pizzas. We have been so disappointed lately. The past two pizzas have been barely better than frozen. The first time we ordered from Pelican Joe's, it was awesome! That was a couple of years ago, now it is hit or miss. I love their calzones, but the last time I ordered one, it was overcooked! We ordered on Friday night, because I could get a pesto sauce pizza for my granddaughter, she liked that. The extra cheese pizza I ordered was far from good. I order from here from time to time. For the most part the orders are always accurate and even though I live across town, they somehow always get me my pizza faster than the local chains (even the one about a mile away). The price is a little higher and they don't have the same super cheap pizza deals like the chains, but they do have coupons in the monthly mailer that I use and it helps offset some of the difference. A challenge I face regularly is their website ordering. It always seems glitchy and every time I've had to just call in my order. Not a big deal. The pizza is good and it's nice having something different every once in a while. Use your free mail coupon and give them a try! read more

We have ordered pizza from Pelican Jo's a few times now. I have always picked it up because they don't deliver to my house. We live in Severance, about 10 minutes away. We have ordered pretty basic pizzas and have not branched out with any of their specialty items. We tried their garlic bread option and it was pretty good. We really enjoy the pizza and that is the reason we have been coming back! It's nothing fancy; just brick oven baked, greasy pizza. That is the way we like it! There is one issue I feel like I should mention. We have ordered online a couple times now and learned our lesson about the inadequate online ordering system. If we order a dinner special (two 14" one-topping pizzas) and want two pizzas with the same topping, there's no way to select the same topping for a second pizza. When we thought we ordered pepperoni for both pizzas, it only came on one of the pizzas and the other pizza was cheese only with no topping at all. It was very disappointing to get home and find out that we paid for a topping that wasn't there. I called the restaurant and they told me they would replace it if I drove back to the store. There was no offer to replace the pizza on another visit or to make any other compensation. Instead of fixing the problem online, I was told that it was my responsibility to make sure I entered a "special note" for them if I wanted both pizzas with the same topping. Not impressed. All that being said, I enjoy their pizza and I will be back, even if I need to make a "special note" when ordering online. read more

We have ordered from Pelican Jo's so many times in the past. However, the last three times we have ordered it has been terrible! The garlic knots were so salty you could hardly eat them and the pizza has been so undercooked. We keep it pretty simple and it looks like somebody put the pepperoni on with their feet. It is pretty pricey and I expect more. The pepperoni covered about 2/3 of the pizza leaving the other 1/3 pretty bare. We purchased another pizza that had jalapeños and pineapple and the crust was so incredibly under cooked it had to be eaten with a fork and you could taste the rawness. This has been the norm for the last few times of purchasing Pelican Jo's in Milliken. They are very proud of their pizza. It is very expensive. When you make the decision to purchase it you expect more. At this time I would way rather have Little Caesar's. read more

this place is.... okay. definitely below average though. their pizza more resembles pizza you can buy at a grocery store vs other pizza joints around town. they didn't cover the whole pizza with cheese, leaving spots with just sauce, which we had to use our own cheese to cover and stick back in the oven. very simple pizzas with not many options to customize. the most disappointing experience i had was their $.50 wing day. one day, we got both boneless and bone-in wings - super good! well tossed, they included celery and tons of ranch (which i'm all for), and the sauces are super good. - the second time, i had it delivered and did just boneless. they gave me literally just a box of plain chicken nuggets with a couple ramekins of sauce. i decided i had to just toss them myself then, BUT they didn't include enough sauce to do so! so it's an okay meal if you're not expecting much for dinner, but not a go-to of ours in Windsor for sure. read more

Here's a local place that cares. Their pizza roles are not pizza roles. They're crosant style breading (about the size of your fist) filled with gooey dough and pizza ingredients. They've innovated some local favorites I've not seen since mom and pop places in California. Best thing is they're affordable. 1.99 for one of these delictable morsels. Well done on keeping it small business. Well done on keep prices more than affordable. Well done on hiring local talent that engage and aim to please. Ask for Austin. He's wonderful. We love trying new pizza places. After reading some reviews and looking at pictures, this place looked great. I signed up for emails, received $5 off code, didn't work. Ordered anyways, pizza was burnt so it had that burnt taste which we don't like. This was our second time ordering for pick up and both times I end up waiting for our order. Tonight we ordered two Calzones and they said it would take 30 minutes. I showed up a few minutes early and waited until the time our food should be ready, when I came in they had to look for my order and it was with all the tickets on the wall. They told me it would be a few minutes longer and then he turned around and told the young lady making the food to start our order. Needless to say I waited an additional 25 minutes. Additionally, with the current COVID only three people were wearing masks out of the 7 people working, unfortunately they were wearing the masks around their necks not covering the mouths or noses at all. I get that cooking the food should kill any Virus but once it comes out of the oven the young man is breathing all over the food. The pizza we ordered the first time it was very good but the Calzones both had way too much liquid seeping from them. I'm just not sure I will make a third visit back but if I decide to it will be after this COVID has passed on. Oh one last thing, their promo codes "never" work when ordering online. read more

This family owned pizza shop is great. We live in Water Valley and order here every once in awhile when we decide not to cook. The pizza is good. The dough is pretty good, the service is good, and phone ordering is an ease. They do not low blow you on toppings what so ever for the price. The ingredients seem fresh and I have no complaints. I gave the shop 4 stars cause they usually mess up our sauce order. Such as ordering ranch or extra marinara. That's a bummer, but the pizza is good, the delivery is quick, and staff is professional and friendly. Thank you Pelican Joe's for serving Windsor so well and with a smile. Cheers! read more

A great pizza stop if you need lunch going from Fort Collins to Greeley (or the other way around). So it's attached to the Schraders Country Store which is a gas station in Windsor. So get over that part. Get some gas and get some pizza. Had the veggie and the sausage and they were both delicious! Nice Italian sausage too!!! Not the fake stuff! They also have gluten free choices and a gluten free cheesecake option - ((at a gas station?)) yeah well, if the guy gets cheap rent and I can get more 2 slices of pizza for $4 - fine by me! and these two slices were like HALF A PIE. I live close to here and have now gotten pizza 2 times. Both pizzas I got were unique and great! One had a veggie relish which was great, and the other had artichokes and white sauce! Can't say its the best pizza I have ever had but it is in no way disappointing and I will be going back next time I am craving pizza and just want to walk down the block to grab it! read more
