    Nachos

Reviewing Boot Grill as a restaurant only: it was underwhelming. It was "seat yourself", so we picked a table and did. The waitress definitely saw us sitting there, but we sat for a LONG time before another woman came over and gave us menus. One minute later, the waitress came over to take our order, and we weren't ready yet. We decided what we wanted, then waited a LONG time before the waitress came back. So the timing was really off. The rest of the way, our service was friendly, but not attentive. We ordered the nachos appetizer. Maybe some people like the flavor of raw jalapenos. I'm not one of them. And most places give you a lot more food when you order $16 nachos. The chicken fried steak had a little "especially good menu item" symbol next to it, so I tried it. The quality of the meat was better than most places, but the flavor was very bland. I want a lot more flavor from a chicken fried steak and gravy. I failed to notice the "Kitchen Staff Gratuity" that was snuck in below the state, county, and city taxes, so I paid two gratuities, and that rubs me the wrong way. How about you just pay your kitchen staff a little more?

The Boot Grill has a promising concept as a cowboy/country themed sports bar, and its spacious layout makes it a good spot for large groups or catching a game. We came to the Boot before a show at Blue Arena. Our experience wasn't average at best. The food, while acceptable, is uninspired and generic, offering little to stand out from countless similar establishments. I had the Southwest wrap with chips. While the wrap was decent, the chips were greasy and so not tasty. My boyfriend had the chicken tenders, which as expected were just like any other chicken tenders, so nothing unique. Additionally, the service was a significant disappointment. The staff felt inattentive and unfriendly, which made for an unwelcoming atmosphere. While the decor and ample space might appeal to some, the lackluster food and poor service overshadow these positives. Not sure we will visit here on our next adventure to Loveland.

Mile High Club Sandwich and Soggy Sweet Potato Fries

Myself, my two sisters and brother-in-law had dinner there last night, and it was excellent. But tonight, we ordered our food to be picked up, thinking it would be another great meal, but we were wrong. We ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad with Avocado Ranch Dressing on the side and a Mile High Club Sandwich with Sweet Fries. When we returned back to our hotel with our dinner, we discovered that we did not get the dressing which made the salad a little plain and the sandwich was wrapped in crinkled up aluminum foil with part of the sandwich showing and unwrapped. The fries were soggy and wilted, and the paper they were wrapped in was sticking to the fries. I did not get any condiments, so the sandwich was dry with cold meats and cheese. I am very disappointed, especially after spending $14 for that sandwich. Had we received food like this last night, we would not have returned tonight. They could have spared a Styrofoam to-go container instead of that aluminum foil. The napkins were small bar napkins, not actual meal napkins, but we didn't notice until we opened the bag. I do not recommend ordering takeout because the kitchen does a terrible job with order presentation and does not follow order specifications. T It is quite apparent they just threw this irder together. At least dining in, you can request corrections to the waitstaff.

The baked pita chips were okay, but they were chewy and not as crispy as I'd have liked. I had the falafel gyro, I liked the tzatziki sauce, it had a good amount of sourness and refreshingness. I needed more falafels, they had only given me three, but they were delicious, crispy on the outside and spiced interior flavor. There was a lot of feta on it, maybe a bit too much for me. I had the pasta orzo for my side which was good, but sort of just tasted like tomato soup with orzo in it. The fries were good, very crispy, and good amount of salt! We had to try the baklava, because I love baklava, and this one did not disappoint, the honey was fully soaked into the phyllo pastry, and the middle section was good flavor too with the nuts. Service: Our server was great, he was very attentive, and the food came out fast, and everyone seemed to be very happy working here. Atmosphere: I liked the seating and the welcoming environment. The kitchen was visible to everyone which is always good to know. Not too loud here either but still busy. Overall: Delicious!! I had a great time here and can't wait to come back to try a few other things.

(Meatballs were some of the best we've had, and the square pizza is quite unique and tasty!) We could see the main cook really hustling. But probably the best thing was the Manager. He was doing whatever was necessary to not only keep the place stocked and running, but he checked on every single employee, asking "you doing ok?" or "what can I help you with?" for the entire time we were there. The kind of find that instantly makes you go, "Okay, noted. We're coming back." Service was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming, not that fake-sweet "hi welcome in" on autopilot. Ambiance was extra cute too, decorated for Valentine's Day with that cozy, festive vibe that makes you want to linger. And the timing could not have been more perfect: it was Tuesday, which means $1 wings. Yes please. What we ordered Wings (6 total): half garlic parm, half honey buffalo Crispy, saucy in the right way, and the flavors hit exactly like you want them to. The garlic parm brought that savory, buttery punch, and the honey buffalo had a sweet-heat balance that kept pulling us back in for "just one more." (We all know how that goes.) Pizza (square style): half arrabbiata, half sausage This crust is the star. It's crispy on every edge like a classic Detroit-style, but the dough is what makes it stand out: light and fluffy, not dense or heavy. So you still get those deep, crunchy edges, but you don't feel like you need a nap halfway through the slice. It's basically Detroit's fun, less-committed cousin. Price: super reasonable for the quality, which honestly made it taste even better. Would absolutely recommend. We'll be back, no question.

After hearing my story of adoption, foster care, and homelessness, he personally invited me to visit a Chick-fil-A that afternoon. That day I had my first sweet tea, Chick-fil-A sandwich, and Polynesian sauce--and I've been a loyal customer ever since. Chick-fil-A has long been a place of comfort for me. I went to the Loveland, Colorado location near the Event Center and entered the drive-through using the far-left lane. I have a blind spot on my right side due to a closed head injury. Because of snow cover and a dogleg in the lane that I did not see, I struck a large rock. This was completely my fault. I returned to the restaurant, explained what had happened, and offered my insurance information, name, and contact information. I asked to speak with a manager but was told one was not available, even though one appeared to be present in the dining area at the time. The next day, I was contacted by their insurance company, which believed I was filing a claim. I clarified--multiple times and on a recorded line--that I was not making a claim and was taking full responsibility. I ultimately paid approximately $3,000 out of pocket to repair my truck. Weeks later, I was told the restaurant was denying a claim. I again explained that I was not filing one. During that conversation, it became clear there had been some confusion, as the investigator seemed surprised that so much effort had gone into a situation where I had consistently accepted responsibility. I was also informed that the restaurant was not pursuing a claim against me, which clarified that no claim had ever been intended. Because I work in insurance, I felt it was necessary to notify my own carrier to avoid any risk related to an unreported incident. As a result, there is a $0 claim on my record, which in Colorado will still affect insurance rates. I share this experience with disappointment, as I believe a brief conversation early on could have resolved the situation quickly. I remain a loyal Chick-fil-A customer and hope future situations like this can be handled more directly.

I didn't realize Chick-fil-A had added some new items for their breakfast menu and Luke made some recommendations for some of the popular items. When I decided on a spicy chicken biscuit, he asked if I wanted to add cheese and egg to it. This might be something that's always available but this is the first time I knew about being able to add egg and cheese to the chicken biscuit... he asked if I wanted coffee or other beverages with that, I went with coffee... then he surprised me with if I wanted a peppermint coffee... I ended up ordering the spicy chicken biscuit with egg and cheese, peppermint coffee and hash browns. I dined in so he brought me the food and asked if I like to have a stir stick for my coffee and fetched it for me. I always knew of the CFA's hospitality but never dined in before. It was really nice to be taken cared of, it did not feel like I was eating at a fast food restaurant at all. The biscuit was moist and soft, I'm usually not a biscuit girl but this biscuit sold me. The spicy chicken was not too spicy but a hint of spice, the hash brown was crispy but tender in the middle... everything was just done right! Clean dining room, a few outlet plugs around the room as well. And to think I was going to stop by Starbucks next door and found them too busy... I'm glad I made the stop here for breakfast.
