The front feels a bit cold in that tyete are 3 screens... no person to order from or cash register. We ordered and it took a bit to get our food but we were not in a hurry. There are several tables to sit and eat as well as covered outdoor area. The food came out hot and was very good. The chicken tenders were good size and were tender and tasty. The fries were seasoned and good. There are several sauces and we tried 5 of them. The house sauce was our favorite. For drinks, you get your cup and serve yourself. They had Thai Tea which was a nice option. The portion sizes are generous. There are salads, sandwiches, tenders and a few different sides. Good place for some chicken. Go check them out.

As he was walking us to our table, I noticed the nice ambiance of the dining area and bar area. The restaurant looks very clean. While we were checking out the menu, my wife was happy to see that they have a separate Gluten Free option/friendly menu. I was looking at the regular menu and I was impressed with their food selection. My wife ordered the gluten free Cob chicken salad (no croutons) and I decided to order their signature item Chicken Fried Steak. Our waitress was Jessica. She was very friendly, polite, professional and very attentive. Great customer service. As far as the food goes, my wife and I enjoyed our meal very much. We will definitely come back here again for lunch or dinner.

This time, I had dinner with family and friends downstairs. The walls are adorned with Mexican wrestling posters and the tables circle around a huge bar backed by an impressive wall of tequilas and mezcals. Even the front entrance showcases Mexican distillates. The drink menu is creative, with lots of fresh fruit and thoughtful specialties, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They also offer a vast selection of tequilas and mezcals sourced by the owners. I especially appreciated that the mezcals are served in traditional gourd cups, a jicara. The food menu is like a upscale taco shop, with innovative appetizers and tacos rather than the usual predictable options, like enchiladas in red sauce. I really like the California burrito and the Nashville taco, but all of the food was enjoyed. They also have a great selection of salsas.

It was Sunday afternoon, but we were after the lunch rush. I was with my husband and daughter for a late lunch. It seemed like there were very few staff on hand. We were greeted and seated promptly, though. I like the layout of the menu with the pictures for their burgers. We started with an order of the cheese curds. It came with chipotle ketchup and we asked for a side of chipotle ranch as well. My daughter chose the Hangover Burger which consisted of a beef burger with American cheese, fried egg, bacon and maple syrup all on a "bun" of two glazed donuts. She paired that with a Unicorn Shake, a mixture of vanilla ice cream, strawberry, cherry and rainbow candy. She loved it! My husband went for the Cream Cheese Jalapeno burger. A beef patty piled high with red onion, shredded lettuce, cream cheese, jalapenos, roasted poblanos, bacon and chipotle aioli. We did question the source for their shredded lettuce and our server explained that it was locally sourced. He thoroughly enjoyed his burger. I went for the Poutine Burger. It was also piled high on a beef patty with greens, red onions, beer-battered cheese curds, demi glace, garlic aioli and crispy sweet potato ribbons. Delish! I would get that one again, for sure. I understand it was due to shorter staff, but the six top behind us was cluttered with the remnants of the previous diners throughout our time there as was a large group space behind it. It seemed as though there were only two people handling customers, food delivery and clean up and they seemed overwhelmed. That was my only caveat for the experience. Our table service and interactions with staff were great though.

The double burger with side of tots or fries ($16) or +$3 to upgrade the side to the best hand-battered onion rings is a great value. I love the decor and vibe of this place, with some cool but eclectic memorabilia and license plates from all the states. The dining room is a good size with big and small group seating options. Service is friendly and attentive. It is a sit-yourself situation. The tables and seats are clean (not sticky) and the bathrooms are also nicely clean and well-kept.
