Quick to show you exactly where items are you need.. electrical, bird feed, lights, tools, household...even the exact screw thread or nut (and there are thousands!) if you bring in a sample. Super patient with helping me restore my MG's missing bolts to my radiator etc. Also, yes, a shovel handle broke and they replaced my item without question. Angel and boys/men are top notch. The paint department too!!

Well, I got lost; my car has a 2010 GPS, it was dusk, almost no street lighting and unless you live in New England, the roads along the coastal towns are based on the old cow paths. The store was closed when I got there, I did leave a voice mail to let them know I would come in the morning but would call to see if they still had it because it was their last one. I deciuded to drive home and a few minutes later, I got a phone call from the store, saying they would wait for me and to call if I got lost again. I did ,but was only yards away. I always prefer to go to a small family owned business; it has been my experience that they take a personal interest and try the best to help you find the right products and go that extra mile. I am so grateful, because not only was the product unavailable my hometown Ace Hardware, Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes and even on Amazon. Now I now what I need it and will install tomorrow, just in time for winter to return!!

However, the pricing is extremely high compared to some other big box stores or ACE hardware locations outside of the city. I highly recommend using their order online for in store pickup for the best pricing since the store will follow the online pricing vs the shelf sticker price. Online orders come with a paper bag that has a handle which makes it nice and easy to carry out. There are two floors to the store, with the majority of home improvement things being on the lower level.

It took two weeks, and the screen fell off the moment I reinstalled it. I also had a key copied. It didn't work. I ended up taking both the door and key to Inman Hardware. They fixed the screen and made a key that actually worked. Buy stuff at Tags if you want, but don't count on them for even basic jobs.

Secondly, the website says they close at 5 o'clock as posted on Google I was going to provide a picture to him as I told him of the door he told me he didn't have time for that. On Sept 03/2024 my son and I went to Moynihan Lumber in Beverly to inquire about ordering an…read moreexterior door, custom sized, to fit a [mobile] home. We tried Home Depot and Lowes, and we were told we needed to go to a place that makes doors. My son and I sat with a sales rep at Moynihan Lumber named Corey. Corey spent about 15-20 minutes searching their database using the measurements I gave him, looking for a door to fit 33" x 75" rough, at one point Corey spoke on the phone with the contractor to make certain of the rough opening size for the door. After an extensive search Corey said he found a door in the size I needed, however I was limited to a very basic door. I placed an order with Corey for 2 doors, I paid $2,400, using my credit card, the doors arrived 2-weeks later and they were not the "custom size" I gave him... I emailed Moynihan's on Saturday 09/28, they are not open on Saturday, informing them that the doors are not the correct size. My son followed up at Moynihan's, in person, on Monday 09/30. The manager was rude telling my son they don't make doors the size we ordered. He told my son we have to eat the doors, nothing can be done. I went to Moynihan Lumber to purchase a CUSTOM size door, if they could not order or make a door in the size I needed, then they should not have placed an order for the doors.. Moynihan's told my son to tell the contractor to make the doors work. Moynihan's is not a reputable company. Their attitude is unacceptable. I am a 67 year old woman, I went to Moynihan Lumber to purchase a specific size door, Corey said he found a door that could be ordered in the rough opening size I needed...Now Moynihan said I can eat the doors. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office for Unfair Business Practice and with the BBB.

She became our dedicated shopper helper and we had such a great time with her. She delivered us to store manager Kyle who then assisted us with building a custom entry door that is still in process. We also spend a lot of time at the paint counter, and everyone there is so helpful answering my questions or guiding me to the proper paint sheen and paint tools for each project I have. I think their pricing is right in line with other big box hardware stores in the area and you can't beat the customer service!

I they have a nice selection for gardening as well, and their plant pots aren't too expensive. I usually go for the plain ceramic ones that are smaller since most of my plants are indoors, but I found a nice lightweight large one as well when I needed it. Employees have seemed to always know at least where to point me to things that I am looking for. All in all it's Home Depot, they have a wide selection. Sometimes the box's for things are beat up but the inside stuff is fine. It's also fun that you can bring your dog.
