Some of the reasons I chose this company is that I didn't need to be home while they worked, I could book the appointment through email, I could pay with Zelle and they had a fair price. The company told me they do not, but their reputation of service is proof enough. Cool, I trust you. Incredibly helpful and responsive I would highly recommend them. We had (what we thought) was a clogged gutter and they came over to do the work. We didn't need to be home and their guys went 3 stories up to fix. The next rainstorm we still had water overflowing so we thought The clog was still there. I spoke to Brian at WCGC and he sent the crew back over. Turns out we had a hole in the gutter and they filmed their guys with a hose showing the problem. We scheduled a time for them to come back and fix the hole. I think the price point was worth it given the ease of use. After reading other reviews on Yelp, I decided to hire Windy City Gutter Cleaning for a cleaning and repair project on a multi-unit residential building. Nothing about the experience was easy or smooth. Requesting a quote took several days as their website was not working, scheduling was a bit odd - they "fit" you in within a two week timeframe, payment took several emails/calls to complete, and I still haven't been able to schedule repairs almost a month after they were here. Given all of these aspects combined, I would not work with Windy City Gutter Cleaning again and plan to hire another company for repairs. I'm always happy to support local businesses but they need to do a good job. With some improvement around customer service and experience, I'm sure this company would become top notch. read more

We have used Windy City to clean our gutters times and wash our exterior windows. I love how easy the process is. You reach out via email and they put you on their schedule. You don't need to be home. (although they ring the bell when they arrive) The gutters are thoroughly cleaned and all garbage is removed. These are the people who came from the former company Gutter Monkeys. What a disappointing move. Totally subpar in performance and customer service. Scheduled them in early fall and it took them until December to clean out my gutters, claiming the weather was at fault. We are switching to Bubbles this year and even based on my phone conversations with them, I know we will be much happier. Stay away. Update: My order was placed back in early September via phone and no one got back to me until November, due to the fact you were in the process of a confusing merge with Gutter Monkeys. I specifically asked for service as soon as possible and had to keep calling and was continuously being given the runaround until I gave an ultimatum of canceling unless I received a discounted rate, and then they suddenly show up in December. So I e-mailed them and got a response with a quote to clean my gutters. 3. My gutters are fine (clean). But I had a clogged downspout. 4. A "Hailey" said a "Brian" would call me. I think he's a co-owner. 5. He never did. 6. A few days later I e-mailed Hailey again. This time I asked a) if they clean clogged downspouts, and b) If not to let me know and if they could possibly recommend someone who could. A week later I am still waiting for a response. I was home when they came and if I hadn't been in the yard I might not have even realized they were there. The gutters have been working all summer so they must have done a nice job!
