An example: Soon after this watch arrived, it needed a little servicing -- for reasons that were not Diamond Dreams' fault. Yet Edward, the owner, who has run this shop, with his family for nearly 40 years, readily offered to take care of the problem. (Apparently, he explaining, if a watch is sent for service from a dealer, rather than from the owner, it tends to get quicker attention). Yes, the turnaround took some time (that's Breguet for you0, but Edward bird-dogged the servicing continually, and responded to every one of my pesky, nervous check-ins. One reason I wanted to write this review is that now, with shops like Diamond Dreams having to join the crowded chaos of the online sales world, it can difficult to distinguish the hucksters from the true blues. Rest assured, Edward and his family are clearly the true blues. Give their wares a serious look. You won't regret it.

One of us spent over $200, in front of the owner, and gave the bag to the other and said, "Happy Cancer." In reciprocation, friend with cancer bought two mugs that said, "Kindness." Again, gave them out, in front of owner, and thanked us. We left, and right outside the shop, while looking for car keys, one of us dropped mug and it broke. Owner refused to give a new mug. One of us went in and asked again, and owner said no. Bad business, right? Another goes in, and owner relented, with tears in her eyes, saying she can't absorb the lost. What about the loss of 3 customers? Owner then hands cash and I said, "Maybe this kindness will come back to you. Thank you." And she said, "I have long ago given up on that happening." I got home, and realized the mugs were $36 and she only gave back $28. Something is very off here. Never again.
