My dress was everything. The entire staff was so pleasant and professional. They were my biggest cheerleaders when I said yes to my dress. Once my dress came in each session for fitting made me feel like i said yes all over again. Meghan in fitting is definstely a vibe. My niece purchased her wedding dress here, and the sample dress she tried on was already significantly too large and had to be clamped. Despite this, the establishment ordered her an even larger size! When her dress arrived she was then told they did not have enough time to complete the many alterations needed before her wedding. This was especially disappointing because her wedding date was known when the dress was originally ordered. As a result, she has had to find another seamstress to make the necessary alterations. We found the entire experience very concerning and frustrating. Ordering a dress considerably larger than the already-too-large sample, followed by being told there wasn't enough time for alterations, left us questioning the level of care and attention given to her order. I would not recommend this establishment. read more

Prior to coming to I do I do, I visited 5 other stores and I just could not find the dress I envisioned myself walking down the aisle in. After searching Facebook bridal groups and seeing I do I do as a constant recommendation, I decided to give it a try. Making an appointment was so easy, the person on the phone was kind and pleasant. She placed me with the consultant and co-owner, Leia, for the following week. I arrived at my appointment with my parents and sister. The boutique was clean, very bright and open with plenty of beautiful white dresses and veils decorating the room. I checked in and shortly after, Leia greeted me and my family warmly. Let me tell you, Leia's personality is so much fun. She's genuine in talking with you and getting to know you, it doesn't feel like she's out to sell you anything. She's also very honest in her opinions and clearly knows what she's doing. She exudes confidence in her skill of wedding dresses, and since she also knows how to tailor/alter them, she can pinpoint proper fitting or what changes are possible. I showed Leia the dress types I was interested in and she nailed the style, bringing me several stunning dresses within my budget. She brought out a dress that she first had in mind when I told her my style, and I wasn't super excited about it as I had tried it on at a different bridal store prior. I decided to entertain it again and Leia added a slip underneath it, clipped it perfectly to my body, and i fell in love. There's something that comes with years of knowledge in an industry like this that can't be beat. She knew what to do to make the dress work for me and it was as simple as a slip and changing bra cups closer to my skin tone, something the consultant at the other store missed. I did not commit that day as I like to give myself a second to think. The following day I received an email from Leia saying how nice it was to meet me and my family. It was that email, Leia's overall demeanor, and my experience in her store that had me come back. Wedding dress shopping is stressful enough, never mind during a pandemic when there are tons of delays, re-scheduled brides, etc. My first time in I do I do was after another bridal shop, which made me feel not even close to how a bride should when dress shopping. I was feeling down when my friend and I went to my appointment. All of those feelings changed the minute I stepped into I do... I do..., they made me feel like the only bride in the world! As usual, I went with the dress that I never thought I'd want. I was so excited until my dress fittings, where I realized my body type wasn't the easiest for the dress I picked. I am super small on top, and curvy on my bottom. I started to panic! But my seamstress reassured me that wedding dresses are an art form and that she could work magic. She did NOT disappoint, I never felt more beautiful than I did putting on my wedding dress. But most of all, it fit like a glove and everyone is still talking about it! Just the right amount of classy/sexy. I wore my overlay on my dress with the roses for the ceremony with my hair down and veil and then had it removed with my hair pinned up for the party/reception. I made an appointment at I do I do over the weekend to try on wedding dresses. My wedding is in a year so I wanted to search early as I know it takes time to get your dress. My budget was on the lower end of their starting price at the main studio but that was no problem as they have their sample studio. I did not mind because I wanted to make sure my style looked good before I was convinced of what I wanted to buy. Tiffany was our host and I couldn't have asked for better assistance. She was kind, patient, and very comfortable to be around. She pulled dresses based on my examples and styles I mentioned (even some out of my comfort zone just to try). ONE in particular I did not want to take off, couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror, and just did not want to leave without it. This was the first place I looked (not thinking I would find a dress I loved...I was honestly just looking) and just couldn't say no. Needless to say I found my dress and said yes to the dress! My time at I Do I Do was everything I had hoped my wedding dress shopping experience would be. I usually look everything up on Yelp prior to going to a restaurant, shop, etc. to see what the reviews are, but my mom kindly took the lead on finding a shop for us to browse around when I was home in NJ for a short weekend looking at wedding venues. I was thrilled when we pulled up and saw the shop - it is everything you'd want a bridal shop to be! Light, airy, sparkly - all of those things and more. We made an appointment and sent the link to my wedding dress Pinterest board, so Michelle had already pulled a few dresses for me. I loved her laidback, kind attitude and she was not pushy at all. She made it so fun for my mom and I! She (and everyone in the shop, including the women trying on dresses) wore masks and were very aware of giving everyone their space. I felt very safe in the shop. I loved how generous Michelle, the stylist I was working with, and Leia, one of the owners, were with their time. They let me float around the shop and take a ton of pictures in the different dresses. I ended up finding the dress of my dreams and working with Leia to customize it a bit. My sister just went for her Bridal Dress Shopping today and we had Alyssa who gave us an amazing experience. Alyssa gave my sister a robe and they were so quick at changing/trying on dresses. Do not get your wedding dress from here. I bought my wedding dress earlier this year and they ordered it with the wrong cup color (which can be seen on the outside) because they thought I needed a darker color and didn't bother to consult me. I only had three months until my wedding so I had no choice but to get it altered so it would match my skin tone. Leia, who is the owner, was super dismissive and tried to blame the dress company (even tho she never showed proof that she ordered the cups in the original color I wanted it in) but told me they would pay for the alterations since it was their mistake. I then spent a whole month chasing her for payment. When I finally got a hold of her she pretended that they had already sent it and that she needed to look into it and would follow up with me. 10 minutes after that I received payment but she didn't call or email me back, it's as if she knew they didn't send me the payment and was trying to get out of a confrontation. The last thing anyone who is planning a wedding needs is to get their dress in the wrong color and then have the additional stress of trying to get a store to correct their mistake. Also, if you're like me and are a NYC bride and think you'll save on tax by buying in NJ, you won't here, the price was definitely higher to make up for no tax. read more

I cannot recommend I Do I Do more. Every part of my experience of buying a dress here was seamless and appreciated. First of all, picking out a wedding dress is a stressful experience particularly when you're not a size 0. I'm a pretty normal size (8-10), and when I visited 3 or 4 other bridal boutiques in the area they had literally no dresses anywhere near my size. At I Do I Do, they actually had samples that were not just size 0, so I was able to actually see what dresses might look like on me. (I know - what a novel concept!). I worked with Alyssa and she was so amazing at helping me find things that looked great on my body specifically and was so helpful throughout the entire process. Similarly, the attitude of the people who work at and own the store are so appreciated too. All of the other aforementioned shops I went to were so snobby and rude when I was trying on dresses. The women at I Do I Do were so warm and friendly and helpful. It made the stress of needing to find the perfect dress that much easier for me. They also have an amazing selection of different dress types and price points, and I was able to find the perfect dress. Then after actually buying my dress, the fitting process was amazing as well. I worked with Maria, who did an outstanding job with all of the alterations. The whole team at I Do I Do - from the person scheduling my fitting appointments, to the stylists, to the seamstress - were FANTASTIC and I appreciate them so much. I hate to leave a poor review to this store bc they do have Beautiful dresses. But unfortunately my experience there was not so great. It started with my looking for dresses back in July 2020. My budget was $2000 or less and I told the assistant before she pulled any dresses out. So she pulled a few dresses and the first one I put on I fell in love with. I asked her for the price and she told me it was $2100. A but over my budget but doable. I went to other stores, liked 4 different dresses for different reasons but kept thinking of the first dress I put on. So I decided I was OK going over my budge by $100 to get that dress. I went back to I DO I DO and put on the dress, said yes and when I asked her to confirm it was $2100 the woman says it's $2850! Both me and my MOHs were shocked bc all 3 of us can attest to her saying it was $2100. We told her that and she basically said we were lying or she had an out of body experience to give us that price. Not only she showed me a dress that was way above my budget, she told me the wrong price and then wouldn't honor the price she originally told me. I was crying and so upset but also so ready to just decide on a dress. So I managed to ask her if she had anything else that was similar. She ended up pulling a dress that had all aspects of all 4 dresses I liked previously for $1700! So that was a great way to end that day and I actually love the dress I bought more than the original dress. Fast forward to my fittings, I got Maria as the seamstress. She is an OUTSTANDING seamstress but EXTREMELY rude. I thought my fittings were supposed to be exciting and fun bc I'm trying on my wedding dress. But they were extremely stressful and frustrating. She doesn't know how to speak to her clients, she makes you feel dumb for asking questions, she made my mom and MOH feel dumb for asking questions, she never explained what she meant by certain things and assumed we should know he lingo. At one point she asked me to walk with my dress on but she gave me a little platform to walk on. I could only give two steps and she proceeded to say I didn't know how to walk. Another time my mom was holding my hair for me so I could fix a strap and she yelled at my mom saying she shouldn't be helping me bc I am no longer momma's girl, I need to be a big woman now. Not only was that insulting bc my mom can hold my hair if she wants to, but Also I've been living on my own since I was 20 (I'm 31 now)bc my parents live in a different country. So I'm pretty sure know what it means to be an adult. This was just a few of the ways she was rude. This post would be too long if I said more. My MOH complained about her and the staff there didn't seem surprised ‍. So they probably keep her bc she is an amazing seamstress and my dress did look flawless. But I did leave every fitting super stressed out and in a bad mood which is not how it's supposed to be. So unfortunately I do not recommend going there. Or if you do ask for the other seamstress and not Maria. I'm sure she is just as talented and way nicer. read more

From the moment you walk into this place you a greeted & treated with top notch customer service. When you tell them you budget, they stick to it. Never having to have the dreaded moment of falling in love with something way out of your price range. The owner is fantastic! You can tell she runs a tight ship, in the best way. One of the 3 bridal salons that I went to. Unfortunately, I did not find my wedding dress here, but, I did find a very close second. They have beautiful gowns and accessories. The consultant that helped me during my first visit was Alyssa. She was extremely knowledgeable. I have an extremely short torso and a broad chest. She helped pick out the kind of styles that would help balance my torso as well as create a less wide chest. She wasn't pushy at all. During my first visit, I found 3 dresses that I liked and she recommended that I ponder upon it, and come back another time to make a final decision since I visited another bridal salon earlier that day. Also, the consultants do take pictures of you in wedding gowns so that you can get a better idea of the dress! I returned another time and my consultant was Brittany. The staff of girls here are incredibly helpful and friendly - not your typical pushy type of sales(wo)men! The girls here truly take their time to get to know you, your budget, and ideal look. They have a great selection of dresses (and accessories) and they'll encourage you to try on different styles to see what you like best. Honestly my experience at i do... i do... was nothing short of amazing. My consultant was Lex and she was so awesome!!! She made the entire process so much fun and easy. Lex offered advice and pointed things out that I would have never thought of. Every single dress she brought out was so beautiful and she really made my decision a hard one. Every single dress I saw was within my budget and I also loved that Lex brought out a wide variety of dresses. I tried on styles that I for sure thought I would hate and ended up loving. I went there as a guest of someone looking for a dress. As with most people these days, she's trying to stay within a budget so they took her to the sample studio. The girl who helped was friendly, however, we felt that she could have brought out more dresses The few dresses she brought out were difficult to see as the place was dark and dingy with all lights except two working- almost like they were trying to hide something. When you book ask to have Brittney or Lex to be your adviser they are both awesome. You can bring your own champagne to toast with to start off the fitting and to toast when they say I do, I do to the dress. They have a large select of beautiful dresses. The staff, wow what can I say they are all very polite, attentive, positive, upbeat and professional. My daughter found her dress and it is beautiful.
