Recipe shows time and what was ordered Moody Blue Salad Full

We've been here a couple times before and food and service was always good. It was our one year anniversary since we met here we wanted to celebrate here. Our waitress Kaitlyn took our order @ 6:23 for a bottle of wine and a crab cake for starters. Then we ordered house soup and salad so we could get dinner quickly. The wine was good and the crab cake was good. I'm in the habit of watching people come in after me to see when they get their order. The people in front of us came in approximately 10 minutes after us, the couple beside us came in a little later and the older couple came in after them. Yes we ordered before the out three couples and they had a different waitress. Kaitlyn came by a couple times to let us know our order would be out soon. The first couple got their meal, then the couple beside us got their meal. At 7:30 the couple beside us finished their dinner and Kaitlyn came by and said again "our meal would be up soon". It's just a bowl of soup and a salad, what was so hard about our order. So we cancelled our dinner with Kaitlyn. So who is to blame for us not getting dinner? Did the kitchen staff drop the ball or Kaitlyn for not following up with them for a simple order. The ambiance was quieter than normal but service was terrible

Terrific! Wife and I both enjoyed dinner. Spedini de Mare (scallops, shrimp, and asparagus over risotto) was incredible. Definitely making the drive to visit again soon.

We went to Windsor Mill Tavern Saturday Evening, 6th of December and we absolutely LOVE it! The staff seems to love their jobs, the service is amazing and the food is delicious and comforting. I had the delicious crab cake appetizer and Salmon in Beurre Blanc Sauce and my husband had the Fried Cheese Curds and Stuffed Pork chop. Both absolutely delicious. Best Mashed potatoes I have ever had. This was our second time at Windsor Mill Tavern and we love the warm Irish Pub Style atmosphere. Only thing missing is a fireplace! This is our new favorite hangout after having moved here to Severance, Co this past March. We love it. Oh! And the seats are comfortable as well. We will be back. Love having a place that is only a couple miles away from where we reside! Well done staff and management! This place is a gem!!!! And the prices? Quite reasonable!

Cream of chicken soup -- excellent!!!

When in the Greeley area, I was hungry for lunch and found Windsor Mill Tavern via Yelp. Fun little place! It's in the basement of a building -- so it took me a few minutes to fugue out how to enter the place. I sat at the bar, and my bartender was great. I started with a cream of chicken soup -- it was excellent, and I wish I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup. : ) For my main course, I ordered the steak bites with mashed potatoes. The steak was ok -- some pieces were pretty chewy -- but I ate most of it and enjoyed the mashed potatoes a lot. Total bill -- with tip -- was $40. Not bad considering how high inflation is!

We've been to Windsor Mill Tavern a handful of times now and it's quickly become one of our go-to spots. I love the weekday deals, it gives us an excuse to pop in without feeling like we're splurging. The menu is huge (in a good way) and honestly has something for whatever you're in the mood for. We've tried a few different things and have never been disappointed. They also have a solid tap list, including our favorite: 805. The ambiance is perfect for a casual date night with a good vibe all around.

Having been here many times in the past this visit was a bit of a disappointment. The good news is they still have Juicy Bits (NEHIPA) on tap. Curious news is they only have 1 white wine, in this case Pinot Grigio, on happy hour. . The bad news concerned dinner. I've always ordered the curried mussels appetizer with the soup of the day. Before it was prepped with yellow Urey and was delicious. This time it was either red curry but more likely sriracha and it was hot ... TOO DAMN HOT in my opinion. Wasn't an enjoyable meal at all yet it was still described on the menu as yellow curry. It even looked different than times past. Perhaps a one off as we'll try it again. Oh, I also had a cup of the soup of the day which was a steak and potato chowder. It was excellent!!!

Amazing drinks, food and service. The fish and chips (walleye) was delicious. I'm sorry I didn't take any photos

This is our second time coming to Windsor Mill Tavern. We were hoping for the prime rib but they stopped making it. We still had a great experience. The margarita I had was perfection, I got the chicken fried waygu and my husband got the chicken risotto. We also enjoyed the cheese curds and Brussels for a starter. We ended with the espresso torte and bread pudding. Everything was wonderful!

What a great place! Tucked into the property with several other restaurants in downtown Windsor. Built in the style of an Irish pub the ambiance is so cool. Plenty of space for guests and diners. I had the Bangers and Mash, a perfect Irish fare. My wife had the Cowboy burger and had to bring half home. Our friend had the Bison Philly and it filled the plate. Try the bourbon bread pudding too. Our server, Sophia was awesome and was very responsive, friendly, and timely. The entire staff was busy and the bar was packed as well.

Pineapple teriyaki burger with bison patty and side of soup, chef's special was a steak chowder.

Our daughter in law arrived, ordered a nice red, and she split a Reuben Sandwich with my wife. Both sandwich and fries were very good. I'd ordered the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp. The Shrimp were very nicely done as they're frequently overcooked and tough. But the penne and sauce were only meh. Bit of a disappointment as I've definitely had (and personally made) better. Easy street parking, surrounded by fun shops in Old Town, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived early and had no trouble walking in, but make a reservation if you plan to be there after 6:00pm, even on a weeknight. Ambience is quite pleasing, it was not loud and Kelly came over soon after being seated to see about drinks and apps. If you want a thoughtful, friendly server Kelly is the one! We ordered the cornbread skillet first. Mmmmm mmm. Warm in a skillet and served with whipped honey butter, could it get any better? Well....maybe. Because the beef tips were so incredible. Melt in your mouth! One of our party likes cuts of meat on the pink side, the other prefers more well done cuts. Off Kelly went with our plates, returning having divided them into two and having the beef done perfectly for both of us. Get some extra BBQ sauce/gravy with it. Perfection. Mashed potatoes were also quite good. We were stuffed. I would go back in a heartbeat. Yum. Kudos to the chef, to Kelly and to the manager, who stopped by twice.....once to serve and once to check in.

On my first visit, I ordered the tri-tip. While it was good overall, it could use a few tweaks--the meat seemed a bit under-seasoned, and the presentation wasn't particularly appealing. That said, it was perfectly acceptable and hit the spot. My next two visits were at the bar, where both bartenders were friendly, attentive, and clearly knew their craft. Based on those experiences, I'd definitely return if I were in the area and would recommend others give it a try as well.

Hopped in with Thursday night reservations, and we were seated within a few minutes. The menu is as fantastic looking as we remember. Pretty much, this is one of those places you go when you want to eat a bougie dinner. Oh, and the cocktails! Wife N. started with the Woo Girl a lovely off-fizzy gin-based hibiscus drink. Delightful. I went with an Old Fashioned. They have three different Old Fashioned choices (I've had all, and all are stellar) but tonight I went with the "With a Twist" which adds in some unique pineapple and vanilla notes. Fabulous! The apps arrived. We started with the Fois Gras Terrine--pretty much you can't go wrong with Fois Gras and Chimney park gussied it up with marinated apricots, pistachios, and what turned out to be the most delightful edible flowers (the purple poofy one looked like a garlic flower and had a light garlicy taste which, with the Fois was a bite of heaven---many folks think flowers are just garnish but don't shy away from trying a bite or you'll miss out! The only drawback was we ran out of the (two) toast points a third the way through the terrine. No big deal, we just spread it on their wonderful table bread. Bison tartare. Perfect egg yolk on top and a lovely dijon cream, served with housemade potato chips. Best tartare in recent memory. Next, the lobster bisque which we mentioned we were sharing. It arrived split into two perfect servings, with bisque poured tableside. Chunks of fresh lobster swimming in a delightfully tasty bisque with just a bit of spicy heat to it. I think if there was only one thing I was allowed to eat for the rest of my life, it would be this dish. On to the mains. She had the pan roasted Chilean sea bass. Flawlessly cooked and glistening, on a bed of pea risotto and adorned with pea shoots, most excellent. I had the mushroom-crusted New England scallops. Five #12 scallops, perfectly seared, on a bed of black rice, served with morels, bok choi and a couple black truffle shavings with a beurre blanc. This was a delicious umami bomb. Everything on the plate had a reason for being there and, on the off-chance I managed to get all the elements in a single bite it was a bite of heaven. Stuffed to the gills, we could only take home a dessert. So the flourless chocolate torte made its way into a to-go box and we had it back at the hotel room. Everything you'd expect a delicious wrap-up to be. Second visit in two years, and the quality of service and food was consistent across both visits. We were greeted by two incredible bartenders Eliza and Zack and a general manager Cole that have now become close friends of ours. The vibe was great (no TVs, amazing), service was quick, the drinks were delicious, and the food-while bar food-was acceptable, and the staff were so friendly and fun. We established a weekly bar night routine to come in and see the regulars and these workers. I looked forward to it, and made great friends. But then the general manager wasn't there anymore and our bartenders left too, and all we had left were two amazing bartenders Ed and Sam. They have now been carrying the burden of the lack of staff and they are the only reason we have kept coming back at all. They try so hard to make everyone comfortable and happy, and are two truly wonderful people. But it all went downhill from there. We took a gamble the other night and went in on a day we never do, and they recently hired a new bartender Dani, who greeted us with low energy and a somber tone. That's fine, not everyone loves their job, but within 5 minutes of meeting us, she told my partner she didn't like the song playing in the bar because it mentioned a transgender person in a relationship (and no she did not say it like that, she said derogatory offensive outdated terms) out of the blue! We are a queer couple! We did not invite, initiate, or try to have any type of conversation like this and she just says that to them? Spreading hate to a stranger unprompted? I was shocked and disgusted. Ed and Sam are two wonderful, welcoming bartenders that have been nothing but kind to us, but this is not the William Oliver's I know.
