I cannot recommend Brendan enough! He was incredibly thorough... so much so that the listing agent actually seemed annoyed by how many things he checked! That is the ultimate sign of due diligence! I attended the inspection and felt like I received a masterclass in home maintenance. Brendan took the time to explain everything he found, breaking things down so it was easy to understand, which gave me the confidence I needed to navigate the next steps of the home buying journey. read more

The home inspection process with Brendan, from start to finish, was better than I could have hoped for. I got a great impression from online reviews by other customers, so I decided to reach out. Brendan called me back promptly and was very clear about the process and dates/times he was available. On the day of the inspection, he arrived on time and explained what he was looking at and for, each step of the way. I'm a first time buyer and have very little experience with home repairs, and Brendan took the time to explain everything to me clearly. He even took extra time at the end to help me understand that something needed to be remedied when I didn't seem to be understanding. And he sent me the inspection report later that same evening. Brendan was personable, approachable, knowledgeable, has a great communication style, and took the time to explain things to me so that I walked away a more educated homebuyer. Even though a home inspection wasn't required in my case because I am looking to buy a co-op, I'm very glad I got it done because Brendan found things that I was able to have included in the contract for the seller to repair before the sale goes through. In addition, the price of the inspection was on par with other home inspectors I spoke to. My home inspection experience with Brendan was excellent, and I recommend him highly and without reservation for your home inspection too. read more

Working with Brendan at Windsor Inspections was honestly the best part of my home buying process, hardly ever now do you see someone as professional and as knowledgeable on top of being an absolute pleasure to deal with. Inspection was very thorough, he explained everything from A to Z, answered all of my questions, not to mention his services were very reasonably priced. I have been recommending him to everyone and would definitely use Windsor Inspections again should i decide to buy another property. read more

My boyfriend and I hired Brendan to inspect a 1BR coop we were interested in purchasing, and the experience couldn't have been better. He was extremely thorough in his inspection and explained everything he was looking out for as potential issues. His report arrived promptly and helped us to evaluate the unit's value. He is an extremely kind, honest, and down-to-earth person who put us at ease throughout the process. With so much at stake in a home purchase, I highly recommend connecting with Brendan to better understand any electrical and/or structural issues before putting in an offer. read more

I chose Windsor Inspections to do the inspection on an apartment I was interested in purchasing before I signed the contract. Brendan was professional, communicative, and extremely thorough. He walked me through each item on site and delivered the report same-day. No apartment is perfect, but having a detailed record of needed maintenance going into a big purchase like this has been a relief. Highly recommend Brendan and Windsor Inspections! read more

Windsor was a polite, prompt and from all I could tell, accurate inspector. I recommend them to others.

Brendan was a superstar! Brendan and Mike were tidy, respectful, on time, thorough, and very reasonable people to deal with. I found the pricing to be extremely fair. Not only did he and Mike do a very good and thorough job with the lead inspection, Brendan also had two amazing suggestions for me as a landlord. He explained to me why my basement might be flooding in heavy rains (backing up through the washing machine waste pipes) and suggested a borescope to locate a leaky waste pipe. Those two suggestions probably also saved me a thousands of dollars. I will certainly keep Brendan in my portfolio of people to work with in the future read more

I scheduled the inspection about two weeks in advance. He arrived on time. The inspection was carefully done and I had the opportunity to ask questions as the work progressed. I have had other inspections for lead paint done in the past, but this was clearly the most professional and done for a very reasonable price. The inspection results were provided within a few days. The report is clear and easy to understand. You could not find a better person to do this! read more

I chose Windsor Inspections for my mandatory lead inspection based on his prior reviews & we were not disappointed. The time-frame was exactly as he approximated - approx. 1 hour per rental unit plus common area. He was extremely professional & respectfully showed up on time, prepared with shoe coverings to inspect the occupied dwelling (which my tenant appreciated.) There were other inspection co.'s that were more local to me (in Queens) but Brendan's knowledge & professional demeanor on the phone inclined me to choose him. Very efficient, knowledgeable & straight-forward w/responses to my questions/concerns. I highly recommend Windsor Inspections. read more

My fiance and I were in a rush to look for a home inspector on a house we were trying to purchase and were very lucky to find Brendan on Yelp. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process. What really blew us away was his attention to detail during the inspection. Although I was not on location, my family, Nicole's family, as well as both real estate agents were very impressed with how he conducted the inspection in such a professional and thorough manner. They told me in all their years working with inspectors, Brendan was the first to put so much work into examining every part of the house. The inspection report that we got from him was very detailed and had great recommendations on how to fix or remedy the issues. Overall I 100% recommend having Brendan from Windsor Inspections work with you on your next property purchase! read more

Initially I asked Brendan and Windsor Inspections to check a house before signing contract. Initial inspection was great. Brendan made very detailed check of the house, found important issues to be fixed. It was very helpful to know real state of the house. Then for the final walk-through I asked Brendan again to check the house and repairs which were performed. The 2nd inspection was great again, very detailed and comprehensive. Brendan answered many my questions about the house. Really good inspector, very detailed, who will help you to be more confident about the house and things which should be repaired or improved. Provides very detailed and quick reports. 5-star definitely. Thank you. read more

I am a first-time home buyer, and there were some circumstances in the apartment unit that I am interested in purchasing. So, I decided to hire an inspector prior to signing the contract. Brendan has been proactive and responsive from the beginning, and very patient in explaining the details. On the day of the inspection, he arrived early, took the time to understand my concerns, and started checking the exterior of the building. He was very meticulous and thorough. Even though the apartment was fully renovated, he still found a few issues, which I appreciate because I can address them before closing, preventing a potential headache down the road. He also expedited the inspection report for me within a few hours after the inspection because he understood I wanted to move things forward as soon as possible. It was very nice of him to do that! Overall, I think my money was well spent. Thanks, Brendan! read more

As a first-time home buyer, every step in the process is a brand new experience. And I just want to know I'm being given honest, knowledgeable guidance throughout. If you're the same, consider Brendan Gonzalez and Windsor Inspections. Even though my property is a small studio in a co-op building, Brendan treated it like he was inspecting a three-story private house. At points he would show me how certain things worked and what they do, and why they could be a concern. And when the electrical box was sealed and painted over, Brendan pleaded with the listing agent to be permitted to open it up and check the wiring, knowing the age of the NYC building and the importance of seeing the materials used, etc. And that night I had a full inspection report, complete with photos, videos, and links to suggested sites. On top of all this, Brendan was super nice. I couldn't be happier with the experience of working with Brendan and would use his services again in a heartbeat. read more

I ended up choosing Windsor inspections because they were fast to respond and were able to send me a sample report. It was a great decision. Brendan was so thorough that by the end of the inspection, my agent, the seller agent, and the seller themselves all wanted his card. The entire thing took about 2 and a half hours. He was meticulous and patient when explaining all of his findings. Ultimately he saved us from purchasing a home with nearly $50k in repairs. I feel like just by the amount of information I learned from following him through the house was well worth the price. They even offer a sewer inspection which from what I can tell is pretty uncommon. We had a handful of followup questions after we got the report back. Brendan responded within minutes each time. He even referred us to a site which generates repair pricing estimates through AI. I can't recommend Brendan more. 20/10! read more

Brendan took my call Sunday night at almost 9p and paperwork along with a very last minute inspection completed by 3p the very next day. He was extremely thorough and kept us updated throughout the entire inspection. He was knowledgeable and offered for us to call if we had any other questions. Great customer service, professional and very reasonably priced! His inspection comes with a termite report & also includes pictures for all/any issues. Would definitely recommend! So glad I found his page. read more

I am so thankful that I found Brendan to inspect the home that my fiance and I are interested in buying. Brendan immediately responded to my messages and was professional, to the point and clear. During the actual inspection, he made sure that he did not miss anything! He went over the entire inch of the house and took wonderful photos. He even flew a drone around to get a unique perspective of the house and the roof! The inspection report that we received was emaculate, it was extremely detailed and clear to follow. Brendan offered to review it with us if we had any questions but the report was so good that we didn't have to. Our parents and both real estate agents were present during the inspection as well and they were extremely impressed with his work ethic and quality of his inspection. I highly recommend Brendan and he will be my go to inspector from this point forward! read more

My mom and I had the pleasure of working with Brendan Gonzalez to complete our home inspection in 7/2022. Mr. Gonzalez was highly knowledgeable and patient and answered the many questions my mom and I had about the house inspection and other items as they related to the process. Mr. Gonzalez was professional, courteous, efficient, and thorough. I interviewed several inspectors before deciding to hire Mr. Gonzalez, and I'm so glad I chose him because of his expertise and attention to detail, including the specificity of his home inspection written report, the Drone used to take pictures of our roof, and his thoroughness when taking the virtual model of my home. If you want your home inspection to be done correctly and professionally, do yourself a favor and hire Brendan Gonzalez for your next home inspection. You will not regret it. read more

We hired Brendan to do an inspection of a co-op. Despite advice from multiple people that we didn't need an inspection for a co-op and it is a waste of money, Brendan discovered very outdated electrical throughout the apartment, and his thorough report helped us negotiate a reduction in price more than 10 times the cost of the inspection. Brendan was incredibly responsive to texts, on-time to the inspection, and very professional. I highly recommend him for any inspection needs! read more

So glad I went with Brendan for my recent home purchase in Manhattan. I hired Windsor Inspections for inspection on two apartments during the process. From the very beginning, Brendan was super professional. The booking process was seamless and online. On the day of the inspection, Brendan arrived punctually and fully prepared. He gave me the lowdown on what he'd be doing and made sure I felt comfortable asking any questions. It was obvious that Brendan really knew his stuff, and it showed in the way he checked out every inch of the apartment. He took the time to explain the inspection process to me and encouraged me to ask any questions I had. He also snapped some great photos and jotted down notes, which ended up in a really detailed report which was delivered promptly and was exceptionally well-organized. After the inspection, he walked me through his findings with a lot of patience. He provided clear and practical advice on how to address any issues, as well as recommendations for routine maintenance. I can't thank Brendan enough for his outstanding service and guidance. Brendan was great. Responsive to my request that came through last minute, over the weekend. He was able to schedule an inspection for the very next day after I was done at work, which is not something other companies had available. He showed up on time and was extremely thorough, then got the report back to me later the same evening. Allowed us to move quickly to solidify our contract to buy. Would definitely use him again although I hope we won't need to for a long time. read more

Brendan, whom I believe is the company owner, did a detailed, thorough job of inspecting my new New York condo. He discovered a lot of things that previous inspectors hadn't to the point where the seller-side agent even noted that he seemed to be "really good" and "thorough." He took the time to go through the whole building, note and advocate for things from the perspective of comfort in addition to, of course, habitability, and climbed on top of the roof as well to check for any water leaks. The report that he prepared afterward was both easy to read and very detailed with accompanying pictures. What I further appreciated is that Brendan also seems to be very negotiable and flexible to ensure that he's doing the best job possible to produce a great inspection. I also felt a lot more secure because the company is part of an association that provides extensive coverage in the case of any mistakes/mishaps in the inspection. Thanks again Brendan and looking forward to working with you again soon! read more
