Fantastic home inspection, cost-effective, and thorough, Home Inspection Gurus couldn't have been a better experience. 0 out of 100 stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This guy is INCOMPETENT. Our inspection included a termite inspection, and the inspector said it was no issue. He even took photos in an area where there was messed up flooring in the wood in one of the pictures and just wrote something generic like "damage". Low and behold, I contacted a flooring company to redo and they said it is rotting, and has been for a long time, from termites. In addition the boards being moldy and rotted. How did you miss something SO MAJOR that you even took a picture of and noted the damage? We purchased this house under the assumption that everything was fine and now we might have a major infestation on our hands and super expensive repairs due to this incompetent dumbass? I AM SO ANGRY. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. read more

I contacted Inspection Gurus through Yelp on a Thursday night, I was not sure they would get back to me or have any availability the next day. I was pleased and surprised when they messaged me back right away, and within about 30 minutes I had a quote for my home I inspection and appointment for the next day. The home inspector was extremely friendly and polite. He arrived to the appointment early. During the inspection I asked many questions, he was always very patient when explaining everything to me. He seemed very thorough in checking everything in the home. The inspection lasted about 2 hours. The report was sent to me in the evening on the following day, and contained pictures and very specific information about the home condition and needed repairs. It was was straight to the point and easy to read. I would definitely use Inspection Gurus again! read more

I made a few calls with a couple of inspectors before deciding to use Adnan's service. Not only was he extremely patient in explaining the whole process in great details, he also made sure that he can accommodate to my schedule. On the day of inspection, he arrived early to address more questions from me. Throughout the whole inspection process, he patiently explained every measure taken, while remaining professional. I feel that no issue can escape Adnan's inspection. After finished, he gave me a very detailed report, including every small things he found and what it means for future repairs. Although I haven't hired any other inspectors in the past, I'm certain that Adnan's service is top-notch, along with his respectful attitude toward his quality of work and the people around him. I highly recommend Adnan! read more

Adnan's work was so thorough and he did such a great job in the rain. He quietly inspected all the rooms, the garage and the roof checking every single plumbing/electrical/structural element. The report was turned in fairly quickly and Adnan was ready to answer any question. So glad to have found him on Yelp. Highly recommended. :) read more

I found a home that needed an inspection and I only had 24 hours to find someone. I asked a few friends who they used and but wanted to also do my own due diligence. Luckily, I came across Inspection Boys and called Adnan for a quick consultation. He was very helpful and had availability the next day. I can recommend this company without reservation. Adnan came ten minutes earlier than he needed to and started with the exterior of the house. He checked for termites, used infrared to see if the pipes were working, electrical, among the other checks. The report was very detailed and came within 24 hours as promised Thank you Adnan. read more

I contacted Home Inspection Gurus through Yelp on a Friday and they responded right away. We were able to get the inspection scheduled for two days later. Day of, we had a wonderful experience with Paul as our inspector! He was super friendly, performed a thorough inspection, and emailed us the detailed report (with pics) early the next morning (it would have been that night but we had the water tested). He also pulled us aside during the inspection to point out things we might want to fix so we knew right away. Definitely recommend! read more

Adnan from Home Inspection Gurus was an amazing inspector. He made sure to check every corner from top to bottom. Unfortunately to my disappointment, I disagreed with the report since whatever I thought was cosmetic to me and my family thus seemed hazardous or worn out, broken was passed either good or fair. Even though I disagreed with the inspection rating I was offered a full refund. Im considering giving 50% back, because after thinking about it, the individual did spend the time driving and doing whatever was necessary. That being said, I highly recommend Home Inspection Gurus to anyone thats considering buying the house. Just because I thought the rating was off doesn't mean yours will be as everything depends on the house and my needs so much work. read more

Very responsive company. Was able to schedule an inspection within 48 hours. Natasha is extremely polite over the phone and was patient in answering all of my questions. She needs to win a "Best Customer Service" award. Will use them again for our next home purchase!!! read more

Adnan is truly the "guru" in the home inspection field. He responded to me promptly and did the inspection the same day I requested. He thoroughly inspected the house -- went through the major repairs with me --- explaining everything in detail. He also suggested me things that I did not know about. Overall, I am very happy with Adnan's work, and I highly recommend you hire him for your home inspection! read more

I need an urgent inspection, and Adnan was flexible enough to meet up with me on the same afternoon. His inspection was top-notch and Adnan walked through with me on phone at great length afterwards. I learned a ton and became a lot more informed after working with Adnan. I definitely recommend his service to anyone else. read more

Fantastic. Adnan said off the bat on the first call that he does not recommend a pre-purchase home inspection since we are already planning to complete a full gut renovation and are aware of potential electric issues, which were factored into the price. He also spent about half an hour sharing advise on the renovation process and how to think about potential issues. read more

We had great experience with Paul from Inspection Gurus. I called on Thursday to schedule appointment for Saturday. They definitely offered the best price compared to everyone else i called. Paul arrived on time and he was extremely detail oriented, friendly, easy to work with and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond to ensure that we are aware of the condition of the house and they systems in the house we are buying. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

I was very impressed by the home inspection as performed by Adnan. He was thorough and informative. He took numberous photos and video. He was easy to talk with and very helpful in pointing out areas of concern. I would use him again in a second. As for the report, 30 pages of detailed observations and recommendations. The summary pages were quite specific but what followed was detail after detail. I submitted this to my agent and the seller's attorney. This usually leads to the seller making repairs or lowering the price. I am hopeful. In conclusion, he did a great job. Thanks read more

Made a last minute appointment for home inspection. Adnan arrived 15 minutes before me. Was extremely professional & courteous. Inspected home - top to bottom thoroughly. Roof & crawlspace were meticulously inspected. Emailed a detailed home inspection report. What needed fixing or updating or what failed was reported & pictures enclosed. The price was fair- it beat everyone else's quotes. Home Inspection Gurus #1 read more

I have dealt with number of inspectors in the past but none as good and thorough(and affordable) as Inspection Boys. Adnan went above and beyond and even the sellers of the property became nervous at the detailed level of inspection. He found several things that I used as bargaining tools and needed improvements from seller. Adnan's inspection report was detailed and informative. He pointed future improvement plans for the property. Another thing I greatly liked is that he got on the roof and perform closer inspection of garage and home. None of the inspectors I used ever did such thing. In short, you must try this company before calling anyone else. read more

Did some research and hired these guys for house inspection. The price quote was very reasonable and he accomodated my time, which was early on a Saturday morning. Adnan came directly and did a thorough inspection. He was a very personable, professional, detailed-oriented guy. Adnan has an engineering background, so I generally have full confidence in a guy who has undergone rigorous engineering type work. Did the work and got back the detailed report within the timeframe of which he had mentioned to me. I would highly recommend these guys. read more

Paul was very on time, friendly and professional. He did a thorough walk-through of the condo. Told me about the past leaking and potential electrical issues of the place. As a bonus, he also fixed a window that was slightly misaligned and wouldn't close properly. The report came the day after with pictures. Their pricing is also very competitive. Highly recommend! read more

Adnan was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, he went through every possible aspect of the house we were looking at. He even noted that something in the fridge was blocking the door from closing! Very very meticulous, which is, of course, what you want in a home inspector. When everything was done, he sat us down and gave us a run down on what we should expect in terms of potential repairs and future issues, all very comprehensibly. The written report was sent within 24 hours (on the weekend, no less), which was also very detailed. Fantastic! read more

Paul did a great job, he drove out to Suffolk from Queens at night and did a thorough inspection while I was still at work (my dad and wife were with him and vouched how good the inspection actually was). He sent me the inspection report within a day of completing the job! They were also $225 cheaper than any company I called locally. Definitely recommend these guys. read more

Adnan did a great job. We knew this house is in a good condition. My agent recommended Adnan for inspection of the house in Middle Village. This area is full of 80-year-old houses and it was important for me to get a thorough inspection. Adnan was very accommodating with his schedule and we found a mutual solution within 3-days after my call. He is a busy person, often doing more than one inspection per day in different areas of NY and CT. He texted me that he was a few mins late for inspection and it shows that he is trying to be as punctual as one can be in NYC. His inspection lasted for more than 3 hours. I learned so much about the house I was planning to buy... He found many issues with electrics and plumbing, which were included in the contract and fixed by the seller. He pointed at the major issues right away, during the inspection, and he actually offered solutions to some problems. Now I know what else needs to be fixed and when. I can also tell that some problems Adnan identified in the house were independently confirmed. The report was received promptly and it was a long one! Adnan is a little on the positive side of things, probably seeing much worse properties than I was planning to buy. I think Adnan did a very good job and I do not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone! read more
