I highly recommend Mike for anyone looking for a great home inspector! He is really thorough and knowledgeable on all the important things to check when buying a home. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the inspection and helped me decide to add on the sewer scope service he offered. I didn't realize the importance of this until we saw the video and report of our sewer scope identifying major concerns to address with the sellers. I will recommend Mike to my siblings when they're ready to buy a house and I hope this review helps someone else feel comfortable selecting Mike for their home inspection knowing you'll be in great hands! read more

Mike helped us by inspecting our first purchase in the hudson county. He arrived promptly at our decided time and began inspecting our condo. Throughout the process Mike did not only tell us about the various issues that need to be addressed but also explained how we could maintain the condo better. All in all, the inspection was thorough and the final report was detailed. I'd definitely recommend Mike for your home inspections read more

I was referred to Mike by my real estate broker, which I usually don't do (better to keep things separated), but he was available and I only heard good things. Mike showed up earlier than my wife and I for our condo inspection. He was a very positive person and got straight to work. We were closing on a 2 floor duplex and decided to do the Radon testing as well (additional $100). Mike throughly went through all the components of the condo including: HVAC systems, structural, plumbing, and electrical. He was extremely thorough. He would take time to explain to me why certain things were issues and why some others were just cosmetic. Being a civil engineer myself, I can attest that he is very knowledgeable. After the inspection was completed mike produced an in-depth inspection report and delivered it a few days later. I would 100% recommend Mike if you are looking to do a home inspection. read more

His diligence saved me several thousand dollars, and I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

Best in Class is aptly named. Mike offers far more than the mandated inspection checklist. He provides a patient and thorough evaluation of the entire property through the eyes of an experienced contractor. Unless you've got a decade or more experience in the building trade, you're not going to find those serious issues that Mike can point out. We were referred to Mike by our broker and he got back to us quickly with a quote and a detailed breakdown of all the kinds of things he takes extra care on, particularly water infiltration, roof, and foundation issues. On the day of our inspection, he intended to do 2 hours. The property was so problematic, he was still there after 3.5 hours. His inspection report was so thorough that when we decided to exit the agreement, we got absolutely no argument from the seller. We will not consider a different inspector in the future. We will schedule our time around Mike's availability. read more
