Mike showed up earlier than my wife and I for our condo inspection. He was a very positive person and got straight to work. We were closing on a 2 floor duplex and decided to do the Radon testing as well (additional $100). Mike throughly went through all the components of the condo including: HVAC systems, structural, plumbing, and electrical. He was extremely thorough. Best in Class is aptly named. Mike offers far more than the mandated inspection checklist. He provides a patient and thorough evaluation of the entire property through the eyes of an experienced contractor. Unless you've got a decade or more experience in the building trade, you're not going to find those serious issues that Mike can point out. We were referred to Mike by our broker and he got back to us quickly with a quote and a detailed breakdown of all the kinds of things he takes extra care on, particularly water infiltration, roof, and foundation issues. On the day of our inspection, he intended to do 2 hours. The property was so problematic, he was still there after 3.5 hours. His inspection report was so thorough that when we decided to exit the agreement, we got absolutely no argument from the seller. We will not consider a different inspector in the future.
