Pricing was in my opinion very favorable. We proceeded to order the window always said it would take week to 10 days give or take. I couldn't be happier! My wooden windows were off the tracks and would not stay closed. Another company told me I needed new springs and it would cost around 700.00 to fix. Excellent work! Great experience! Highly recommended! My house has casement windows with wood sashes and aluminum window frames. Over the years, about a dozen of the bottom sashes had sections of wet spongey wood. After researching several window repair companies, I selected Window Repair Group. Ruslan came to the house and gave me an estimate. Ruslan was prompt and informative. He provided two prices per window depending on the whether they needed to rebuild a portion of the sash window or simply restore sections of the sash for small soft spots. Ruslan scheduled Vlad, the wood expert, to do the work. Vlad did an excellent job! After removing the sash window, Vlad assessed it to determine whether it required a rebuild or a restore. In the case of rebuilding the sash, Vlad used new treated wood to build the necessary components. After completing the components, and reassembling the sash window, Vlad then stained the inside wood to match the color of the existing stain and he painted the exterior. In our case, Vlad was able to complete about 4 windows each day. Vlad did a fantastic job! During the entire process, I was always able to contact Ruslan and Vlad with any questions. I HIGHLY recommend this company! We got a timely estimate last fall but decided to wait until spring to start. They have been here almost 3 weeks and have repaired many windows sashes and sills that were rotting. I have to say that Zainulla and Abdullah were true craftsmen - I had a huge beautiful french door above my front door that was just a mess and they basically rebuilt it. I usually don't get around to writing reviews, but I had to for these guys. My AC had broken a couple of weeks ago when the weather was in the 90s and we couldn't get any of our windows open. I called and Ruslan made sure to come by the same day. He managed to get one of our windows open and his partner came by the next day with the necessary tools to open the remaining windows. I asked them if they could repair the windows, but they were very honest with us about the fact that we should look into purchasing new windows through someone else (wouldn't be cost efficient to go with them and repair the windows). After fruitlessly searching for a handyman or company to repair/replace a rotted crankout 30 year old basement window I stumbled on Ruslan and his Window Repair Group. All the earlier contacts basically told me to pound sand...they either couldn't do it or weren't interested- too small of a job. Fortunately, this type of work is the Group's niche specialty and the deal was made. Ruslan and Shamil both bring old world skills and work ethic to the task. They set up a work shop in your driveway and methodically make new parts and repairs then put it all back together again in a like-new window. Final installation and adjustment completes the project. These guys are awesome. The company was very quick to respond to my estimate request, and they were completely on the ball with scheduling and carrying out the job. I had 2 LARGE, casement windows (crank style) in which the glass had cracked. Ruslan and his crew gave me an extremely reasonable estimate for the repair costs after an onsite visit. (It was actually the lowest estimate I received after calling about 5 other places I found on Yelp.) Even after some complications were discovered on the job, Ruslan's final invoice/ price stayed the same as the original estimate. I called around to a number of window repair places and was so surprised to find out how few were willing to do a window repair anywhere in the city south of the Loop (including places who advertised their services as covering the 'Chicago Area'). Being in the Bridgeport neighborhood (next to Pilsen), my house is very close to downtown and right off of the Stevenson.
