Velux confirmed that the skylight is covered and will inspect and repair it under warranty. Later, the company stated they had no record of that payment and billed me for the full amount. I informed them of the payment and disputed the balance. I asked for documentation and clarification on their accounting, but that was never provided. Communication became focused on collection and lien warnings rather than investigating the payment issue. I was pretty shocked how aggressive they were in their phone calls and emails. I recommend that customers keep detailed records and receipts for any work done with this company.
