FYI, don't get the smoothies or milkshakes here. We came here the other day for some and the consistency of both were just too watery. My buckeye milkshake was basically a cup of chocolate milk almost... and for almost $5! You're better off going down to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a smoothie. And stick to the chocolate and coffee at Winan's.

Starbucks closed for two weeks so I decided to try some other places. Winans is definitely a gem! Their point/punch system is also really awesome.

Good coffee and nice ambience. What more do we need? It's a good place to sit and study as it's not too busy always.

Pricy but the wine and chocolate tastings are fun! My favorite are the chocolate covered orange peels.

Do they serve breakfast?

No. They have coffee and Chocalte’s but they are well worth the stop. I love this place

Not sure how to best represent our experience. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great and it seemed…read morea bit pricey for what we got. I think we spent $70 with a tip and that was for 3 people. No Alcohol. One soda and 3 entrees and an appetizer. Again, the food wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. I posted pics of what we got. The shrimp po boy was probably the most disappointing. Don't get me wrong...loaded with shrimp but just your pre-made shrimp, fried and served. My Rasta pasta was really good. Plentiful and heat was just right. The little piece of bread tasted like it may have been a bit out of date. The jerk cheesesteak was good and good flavor. Fries were my favorite. Had a bit of the coating on them and crunchy and just really tasty. Appetizer of fried ochre was 10 out of 10. Portion size was generous and they came out smoking hot and tasted great. Dining room was a bit odd...like a 60's jazz bar. Music was loud for the amount of people there. We were seated by one person who told us they would be serving us and then another guy came and told us he would be taking care of us. Seems like it may be a "whoever gets to the table first and takes an order gets the table". It was an odd exchange when the girl who seated us came back only for us to say some guy already took our drink order. Unclear as to who was supposed to do what but that made things a little weird. I would be willing to go back but my wife wasn't impressed so I don't know as we will return. We wanted to try it as we had heard great things but now that we have, not sure we need to go back. Food wasn't awful, something just left an odd taste with us and our experience.

Food was great! Service was outstanding…read more Ambience was really good especially for our larger party (10 of us). Background noise was low and we were able to have conversations without having to raise our voices. Highly recommend the Old fashioned cocktail

The Wine Cellar in Osaka isn't your normal wine bar/wine shop. Located inside of Osaka Japanese…read moreSteakhouse, it's a separate entity inside the restaurant operated by the former wine staff from Bruning's Wine & Clock. It offers wine tastings on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5-8 PM, with the Wednesday night tastings often hosted by reps from area wine distributor. Full menu service from the restaurant is available during wine tastings. The retail part of the Wine Cellar covered most of the bases with regards to its selection found on the racks arranged around the bar area of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. While its selection of wines was very limited especially compared to grocery stores and many other wine shops, they seemed quite affordable, ranging mostly from $10-$70 with the majority falling on the lower end of the spectrum, and focusing on more less well known wines from smaller production winemakers. Although the Wine Cellar and the restaurant operate separately and the restaurant offers a full wine list at the standard restaurant markup for wine, I was told that diners who buy a bottle at the Wine Cellar at retail price can drink that wine in the restaurant with their meal for a nominal corkage fee ($6?). That's a win! In the end, the Wine Cellar in Osaka isn't my usual first stop when I'm looking for a bottle of wine. That said, as a place to taste wines, it exceeds all of my expectations with friendly, knowledgeable service, and exceptional choices of wine to sample.

Great selection of excellent wines. Prices are mostly at state minimum. Plus, for a small corkage…read morecharge you can bring a bottle to your table.

The property is beautiful, with peaceful views that make it easy to unwind and spend a few hours with friends or family. The wine selection offers something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet wines or drier varieties. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual afternoon or a special outing. I especially enjoyed sitting outside, taking in the scenery, and sampling a few different wines. Love the super laid back feel of the barn inside and outside. The server was very friendly and welcoming too. Most of the wines here are on the sweeter side but they do offer a few dry wines too. We opted for a couple flights of six wines too try. Their Petite Syrah and Terzetto (Cabernet Sauvignon, merlot, Sangiovese blend) were my top two dry wines. Overall, pretty solid place, and one I could see visiting again.

Emporium Wines & the Underdog Cafe is a cute and cozy charming little shop with lots of wine for sale and some tasty food. There isn't a ton of seating, so we had to share a table with a kind stranger while we enjoyed our iced Americanos and breakfast focaccia. The breakfast focaccia was delicious - it had cheese, chili crisp, and a hard boiled egg inside. We also added some bacon. I really liked this and it was great to split for a light breakfast snack. They have shelves of used books for $4.99, alphabetical by author. I found one to purchase. I came back with granddaughter for breakfast, but I wished we had gone to a different place, more of a full service breakfast joint. I had a breakfast wrap and a hot coffee. It was pretty good. The staff were okay, not super friendly.

You could do it a few ways ... buy some samples or just buy a glass. The place is names Deaf Monty and had several pics of a small white dog .. and there was a small white dog at her feet. I inquired if that was Deaf Monty ... she said Deaf Monty had passed to the rainbow gate .. this was like Monty 3 :) We got some wine and went in the other room to sit and enjoy it. The other couple did the same and we did some cross table chatting. They were not from the area and had some questions. We were all having a nice time chatting among ourselves when the other girl notice a dog in a small dog bed up on a high shelf. I had seen similar fake battery powered cat and dog that breathed and gave my thoughts .. the owner spoke up from the other room and said that was the original Monty. Hmm keeping stuffed dog in your wine bar/ inn??? huh .. seemed more than a bit odd. gave us all a uncomfortable feeling and changed the vibe of the place.
