I opted for an ombre look from natural pink at the root, to white at the tips. On two nails on each hand, I wanted an intricate design. Lisa was able to recreate the design from my photo exactly. One of my nails was literally ripped in half before my appointment (I hadn't been eating well for that month), but she was able to fix my nail and get to work. After she was finished, you couldn't tell it was broken at all. The nail salon itself was clean and felt peaceful. The price ($100-ish) was worth it for my beautiful nails as well as the level of skill and service! All of my friends kept asking about my nails. I highly recommend Trendy Nails!

Something's changed :( I know they changed owners a while back, but I have been a few times since…read morethen. The last 3 times I've come for a pedi, the salon has been pretty empty, and quiet. My usual girl Ly isn't around and I've gotten pedis from the male tech that works there. When he's scrubbing and cutting etc, I don't think he even considers non-verbal cues, and each time it's been way too rough, scrubbing the front of my shin to the point of me having to stop him (hint: use some force on the balls/soles of my feet instead, that's what hurts). Today, he just kept cutting and pulling at an ingrown nail. Yeah, it got fixed, but... try a little tenderness? The water is up to me to test. He turns it on, says go... it's cold. Once it was so hot when he told me to put my feet in... hello, YOU check first? The first time I had a pedi from him, in an empty space, 25 min before closing time, he came and said "done!" and turned off my chair, basically rolled it up with me in it and let me know I was finished. But I could've easily sat for another 10 minutes...wouldn't have made a difference to them but it did to me. I thought coming in on a weekend morning would offer me more options but today's was a third strike. I really wish it was as good as it used to be, because I love supporting my local shops. Out of loyalty, I might give one more chance, but this should be relaxing and enjoyable, not rushed and painful.

The one who cut her did not apologize but said she cut her because she was asleep. That was not true. The lady who cut my friend's toes started talking loudly in Russian, like she was mad, but she was not the one who was cut, so we were not understanding her yelling. They only gave her a 10% discount, which was not enough for all the pain, burning, and discomfort my friend was forced to suffer. And a discount had to be asked for. Yet, some lady who did not like her nail color was offered the world!!! smh We were told it is expected to get cut. Really? 4 times? No one explained the possiblity of being injured!! That's not okay at all. We gave them good business, and the treatment received after my friend sustained several cuts was well below subpar!! smh Then I reached out to the owner and shared the photos with him. I received complete silence! Not a good look as a business owner. I'm very angry and disappointed that my friend was mishandled after being cut so many times by these professionals...... So, this is an update: The owner, Aibek called me after seeing the reviews I posted. He never asked how my friend was doing even after I told him that she still experienced bleeding on her cuts a couple of days after receiving services here. He asked what he could do, and then offered 2 free manicures. I didn't know, but he only offered something because he is trying to save his reputation, not because he cares about the clients. This was so selfish to ask me to remove my reviews because it all happened and people need to know, which is the purpose of leaving a review. Aibek is only about saving his reputation, not treating every customer like they matter. Real messed up! This happened 7 days ago, so he was not concerned.
