They have a lot full abandoned motor homes, probably impounded. I made a friendly inquiry as to buying used parts. I was told they don't sell the parts and that the motor homes go to Portland to be dismantled and scrapped by an environmental firm. When I asked where I might find used parts, they had no idea. And, they are in the wreckage and towing business! read more

There aren't words positive enough to express my experience with Wiltse's! Their services are not free, but you definitely get extreme service and value for your money. Our 30 foot motor home broke down in Salem. Called Wiltse's towing, they found a shop that was not only capable of repairing our aging beast RV, but was also willing to and able to take it. It is important to note that we were not familiar with Salem at all. Wiltse's took care of everything, it was AWESOME! My only gripe is that they are not everywhere, or that every business operates with the level of customer service Wiltse's showed that night. It can't be understated the anxiety caused when your RV breaks down in an area you're unfamiliar with. This company understood that and did everything in their power to make sure I was taken care of. The owners and employees at Wiltse Towing are a God sent. During a very troubling time, they were there for me. From picking up and towing my RV to driving it off the tow lot. They are professional, kind, considerate, informative. I think the world of them and happy they showed up for my tow. Jason towed my RV. He was very professional. It was a very difficult time and he talked to me and was very kind and caring about my situation. Not sure if he ment to or not, but he make me laugh, and I needed that . He helped me figure out how to get it out of tow and who to talk to. He hooked the 32' RV coach up with ease and drove it away to the yard. He helped me get it started when it wasn't working. I will forever be grateful for his kindness. Jason and the others at Wiltse's care about the people they serve regardless of situations or reasons for tows. Truck was broken down on the side of the road called Wiltse's towing after getting the run around with another tow company, they told me it would be 30-45 minutes and showed up in 20. Not sure who I worked with but he was quick and efficient, had me home within the next 15 and was cheaper than the other place had quoted me. Needed to get a truck back to town and to the shop. They gave me an estimate range and a window of when they'd be able to pick up the truck. Office called when the driver was on his way, and the driver, Josh, called when he was 5 minutes away. He was very polite and professional. Promptly got the truck loaded and back to the shop in Salem, and it was just under the low end of their estimate! So incredibly helpful! My husband had just been hit by someone running a red light and texted me from the side of the road to call a tow truck for our, now undriveable, Hummer. I originally called and spoke with a very pleasant and kind lady (I can't remember her name, I'm sorry!) who asked me if the vehicle was in the road to which I said no. She let me know that it would be about 45 minutes but she would try to get someone there quickly. When I arrived at the scene, the vehicle was, in fact, partially in the road still. I called Wiltse's back and let the same very pleasant lady know that I had been mistaken and the car was actually a few feet into a driving lane. She let me know someone would be there ASAP. Sure enough....5-10 minutes later, Evan arrived to the rescue. He was so patient with our questions about the process and what to do next.
